I think it will replace dollar in the future because it is becoming really popular right now and the value is rising so fast. But there is always a possiblilty that bitcoin will fall and another coin will take over.

The probability of bitcoin to replace dollar is very small, dollar is still to much stronger than bitcoin. I even do not think that it will be happen in the next century.

Unlikely. The value of Bitcoin maybe be higher per dollar, but it's unlikely for it to replace the existence of the dollar / fiat money. The dollar or fiat money in general is still very widely used and very hard to deprecate.
Oh, it was said by the CEO of Coinbase, very good. Why won’t he say any rubbish just to promote his business. He’s just speaking trash, Bitcoin is in no way replacing dollar. Dollar has been around for a long time, and is also a conventional currency that is very reliable. There is no way an unregulated currency will fly out from space and throw if off to replace it.

Until now there has been no official state using bitcon, this makes bitcoin development becomes obstructed, moreover there are many countries that officially banned bitcoin, if there is assumption bitcoin replace dollar of course this will be difficult happened in a short time, and maybe need at least 50 years to replace dollar.
Bitcoin will "never" replace dollar even there will be like 50-100 years to go then it will not be enough for bitcoin to replace dollar because dollar is a currency that is already here in our world even we are not yet born and dollar is unstoppable because it is being backed by the government and the government will do anything to not let dollar disappear. Why does Gold replace by Dollar? You have to know in the history, in few centuries ago, we did not use Dollar or any currencies for the world's finance. All things calculated and converted to Gold, Silver and Bronze. But, after all, currently we are using FIAT and Dollar has replaced these assets

Bitcoin is definitely going to be used on a large scale in future but i forsee it coexisting with the other fiats and not overtaking them.

absolutely not. there is no point in thinking it ever will replace any major fiat currency. just stop thinking/hoping that it will happen. it will not.
I believe so too. The government won't allow it also the majority of people don't have bitcions. even if some have btc they're exchanging it for fiat .Maybe it will be more valuable than dollars but it won't replace dollars not now maybe not even sooner.

I actually think this is possible (although not soon enough) but surely the US will do all what they can to combat this plausibility to defend the integrity of their dollar. This is the US we are talking about, and it cannot be denied how its currency affects the people worldwide. Hence, the US government will fight every inch of possibility that it comes across with.

It is possible that in the next 10-15 years digital currency will take place of the US dollar. I hope that this cryptocurrency can become a means of replenishing foreign exchange reserves in central banks in different countries. As the cost of one Bitcoin approaches the $ 7000 mark, such forecasts become more and more likely.

No,I dont think so .Dollar transactions are under the control of government and Bitcoin is without any involvement. So it is not possible for Bitcoin to replace dollar.

It's still impossible for bitcoin relplacing dollar for 5 or 10 years later. Dollar is the strongest currency in the world. It will need a longer time to go above dollar.

Not in the near future but it is likely some form of cryptocurrency will replace fiat one day. I imagine some forward thinking smaller countries will adopt and recognise crypto-currencies as a currency and allow people to use it to transact with daily. I think it will spread from there to other place around the world. At the end of the day if everyday people start using it then can it really be stopped?
We have a government that will likely gonna see this things, there are small countries already where they ban bitcoins and that is because their government does not support bitcoin and they considered it as a big risk or a treat to their real money. Seeing cryptocurrency will rule in the future seems very unlikely IMO. I think there's no need to replace dollar with bitcoin. It would be better if you have dollars and bitcoin at the same time. The more options you have, the easier life would be. On the other hand there's no way to eliminate dollars anytime soon because its been a proven and widely used currency across the globe. Anything can happen in the coming days. I must say that everything has its own pros and cons. If we look at the capabilities of bitcoin, then there is no way that we can deny this fact that bitcoin is actually a wonderful thing and it can quite comfortably beat dollar. The only hurdle which is not helping bitcoin in order to do this kind of thing is the legalization of bitcoin. Soon it will be legalized, things will change.

Yes agree, as long as the USA with USD is still a super power it will be difficult to replace the dollar until whenever, just the opposite if bitcoin becomes a threat to the dollar then USA will destroy bitcoin. Definitely, there will be a war coming ahead between the super currencybitcoin and the current super currency dollar. US will definitely stand for dollar while all the other technical world will fight at the bitcoin’s side. So be prepare for that worst era coming along the time. Still, bitcoin will be more powerful in coming times and on the flip side, dollar is losing the value so see what happen.

To replace the dollar in the near future is certainly very difficult, I'm sure that bitcoin can not replace the dollar because of many factors that affect, for example is a decentralized issue that is difficult to accept legally.

- I assert that bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar because bitcoin is not accepted anywhere in the world, not everyone knows about bitcoin, even in the future, if bitcoin is accepted, I believe people are still not widely used, it's just a place to invest, it can not replace real money. Especially here is the dollar, it belongs to the country has a very strong economy in the world, the US government has always supported and maintained their currency, if bitcoin wants to replace the dollar, unless it has the capacity to beat US, and this can only happen in imagination. US is the strongest country, wanting to beat them, this is not something that can be done

Bitcoin cannot replace dollar. Why? Because dollar is a powerful currency. It is hard to be changed by any currency. Besides if bitcoin replaces dollar, there will be a country that owns bitcoin as it's currency.

Anything is possible but the chances of Bitcoin replacing dollar are very less. Dollar is the global currency and it is accepted almost everywhere and by everyone in this world. On the other hand, Bitcoin is not that popular and its acceptance is limited only to a few people. Moreover, Bitcoin transactions charge very high fees which makes there use impossible for small transactions. Bitcoin transactions also require Internet and Bitcoin cant work offline.

In fact anything is possible in this word. Even bitcoin can replace bitcoin, but it is not such an easy job it will require that all the people of the world start using bitcoin, and i think still less than 2% people know about bitcoin. So it will take a lot time when all the people of the world will start learning about bitcoin.

I think the government dont approved this kind of money to change. Because we use money to recognized all the heroes in our country so if bitcoin change USD the government could be banned the bitcoin if it happen.

I think anything is possible. But in this respect, Bitcoin's replace possibility is very less.Because, Dollar is a global currency and everyone knows about it.But Bitcoin isn't known to all.Doller works in offline but Bitcoin can't work offline. So for all these things, Bitcoin's replace possibility is very low
