Why are Man Utd being seen a 1st or 2nd favourites? They came 6th & have only added Lukaku & Lindelof. I don't see how that takes from 6th to 1st/2nd.
I think Chelsea & Man City are much stronger than Man Utd.

I think some of you support Man Utd & it clouds your thoughts.

Everyone has their own prediction mate, it is based on their own expectation and/or based on what is happening recently. Indeed MU have only added Lukaku and Lindelof, but I think there will be another new players soon that may make them stronger than Chelsea.

this is interesting that i have recently see the odds for which team will be the winner of BPL 2017/2018 and indeed Manchester city is the favourite team to win the trophy even the latest champion Chelsea only in the third positions and the odds for them is quite high rather than Manchester teams

pre season results can not be used as a reference for next performance in the league because usually the teams who play on pre season matches willl not showing their true strength although Manchester United get europe league trophy but it can be useless if they cannot get the BPL trophy and i think if Manchester United failed to reach first positions this season probably Mourinho will be sacked

I believe thats why the preseason is needed new players will get to know the team plays as a whole, Chelsea in my opinion didn't buy alot of players at all, most of the players they bought are replacements of players who have and will leave the club, They need to buy new players since they will be competing in the Champions League this season, Conte can't use the same players for all games like he did last season. He needs more depth to the squad.

Well it Chelsea won't buy any new players, then they could be another "Mourinho season". Conte is trying to avoid this, but they need to get new players. And even if they don't want to get new players, the current roster will fatigue and may not land in the top 3. He is very wary of letting his players repeat that fall from grace. But without getting any face, they will likely fall. So for me they need reinforcement to defend the title.

First Half of Man City vs Spurs got over a few mins back. Man City are having a good game. Their full-backs have been amazing. Danilo and Walker have had a world class game. For Spurs, Kane has been working really hard and Ali had a good chance which he couldnt convert. John Stones scores from a set piece. 1-0 to Man City at the end of first half.

After watching todays match of Tottenham Hotspurs vs Manchester City. I'm quite certain that Man City will be in top 2 in the EPL but giving odds just 2.85 is too low. I think it should be about 3.5 for Man City and 5 for Manchester United and slightly lower for Chelsea. City have had a few problems on the right back and with Walker in the team, they seem to have the best full backs in the league along with Denilo at left wing back. They beat Spurs in their own game of high press and got 3 goals for it. It should have been a lot more goals for City but they lacked finishing or unluckily hit the post. Looks like bad news for Spursas it doesnt look like they are on the same level as City. But hey, its only a preseason friendly. Things can change during the season

Manchester City aside their loss to Manchester United have been in a incredible form in the preseason games. They are enjoying the benefits of getting all your targets ready before the league starts so that they can gel together, something that Mourinho wanted to do as well. They are clearly title contenders for this season.

Though not a fan of Liverpool i believe that they will finish in the top four of the league, Manchester City did very well when the league started last season but when Kompany got injured things started to go wrong for them at the back and we all know Man Utd inability to score goals cost them very dearly in the race last season. I firmly believe that the trophy will be going to the city of Manchester, it remains to be see who amongst the two clubs will win it.

But the arrival of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke will sharpen their line of attack. That's why even though the defense will stay bad, their attack line will be better.

With Mane, Mohammed Salah and Coutinho, Liverpool has one of the best attacking trio in the premier league, this is definitely going to cause some problem for various defenders in the league. if they had a very good striker, they are going to be deadly and i dont count Firminho as good enough in my opinion.

Actually the match was only a one side match we can say that Man city were just time passing in the first half after in next half they goaled while it was hard to face by spurs so we can say that it was just one sided game and Man city were the one who were looking the winner at the first sight so we cannot say that it was by both sides so good luck for the next game.
