Buying altcoins is not the key to grow your bitcoins because we have witness that when the price of bitcoin increases the price of altcoins also decreases. Why not just by bitcoins and hold it for a longer period of time. It would be easy and it is a guaranteed money.

I don't think holding an altcoin for 5 years is a good thing. Most altcoin projects promise good returns and they are here in the long run. 5 years is just too much for a life of an altcoin. There are altcoins out there that gets dumped right after their coins has been released in an exchange website. There are altcoin projects where the devs just disappears for no reason. And most altcoins becomes a dump coin after a month or even less. I think it would be better to hold your bitcoin for 5 years instead of putting your trust in a certain altcoin.

With "good projects" do you mean altcoins or a certain site or service?

If the first case, then it would be an insanely stupid decision to hodl an altcoin for 5 years as the majority of the altcoins lose the biggest part of their value after 6-12 months.

In the second case, regardless of the amount offered as potential return, I would at all times avoid investing my money into a certain site or service.

Especially when you are talking about a period of 5 years. In that time everything can happen with your coins while you patiently wait for your ROI date.... Don't do it.

Best way is indeed to focus on trading. In my case it's solely Bitcoin that I trade, but if you understand and accept the risks of altcoin trading, then it's up to you of course to dive into that industry.

Some are just dumping but whales keep holding their bitcoins, if you can see the price it is going in one direction now and it's rising so that means that current price will still increase. And I believe by buying now, we can still make profit just holding in a short period of time..

Buying is the best option no matter when you buy and how much you buy, because even if you have bought at 1000$ then surely a time will come when the price will be 1000$ + you just sometimes have to wait a little and sometimes a lot. I am sure every year bitcoin reaches the 1000$ mark at least once so how can you give loss ?

If you had 5 bitcoin already then YES you can grow that through minor trading and you can be able to do short trading to make sure profit and sure income weekly and if you are going to place with the long run trading and long run holding then you can't really make some good profit it always take months.

Would be quite interesting to know who a good gambler really is? The one that is always depositing but never withdrawing from a casino or the one that is hoping against hope that his ship is on the way? Gambling is not an investment and should not be treated as such, otherwise the folly can  only gets worse. . Growing one's bitcoin, especially by beginners should never be calculated for in the short run.

It is really hard to hope for a gambling as hope to grow your bitcoins. Instead of playing against the house it is more recommendable if you are going to be in the favor of those house by investing into their bankroll casino's. And what if the price never increase?  Just what happened recently, bitcoin price had a decrease in price down to less thant $680  those who have bought at $740  if they are investing in bitcoin are in a disadvantage position at this point. Price increase is mere speculation while if you invest your money to a legit company, it is a sure thing that it will grow.  Or if you are knowledgeable enough in trading, you would trade it in altcoin-BTC  pair and you won't mind price decline because you had already multiplied your holdings.
