My current policy is to release IPs only in these cases: - Police send me convincing evidence that someone is guilty. I then release IPs to the police only. (This has happened.) - A court with jurisdiction over the forum sends me a subpoena that isn't obviously unjust. (This has not happened.) - A scammer is absolutely proven to be guilty and stops reasonably negotiating with his victims. - Someone is repeatedly evading bans.
...
I will continue to assume that another case would be that you made a credible offer of a stay in jail or other significant personal unpleasantness no matter what the 'just-ivity' may be. Rightly or wrongly the assumption is an appropriate one to make for someone on 'my side' of deciding who to trust with what data/money/etc, and it is a general thing. That is, not specific to ~theymos or bitcointalk.org server use.

I only have read that theymos sent the coins to the paperwallet that coldhardmetal was supervising. But i didnt read that the money moved from there. What was the address of the paper wallet? It should be proofable fast.
He doesnt need any bitcoin to release the shareholder info. Id say to some people that would be more important than the few coins glbse holds. So where is it ?

What? Fucking feels good but I don't do it in the street like a wild dog. You should try it sometime - actually it's quite liberating.

He doesnt need any bitcoin to release the shareholder info. Id say to some people that would be more important than the few coins glbse holds. So where is it ? Sure... but it looks like nefario is helding the shares hostage until he gets his ceo-wage for last month. And he claims that the accountant still has 10% of the usermoney. While theymos already sent this money to coldhardmetals paper wallet i wonder why still only 90% payments are made. When nefario really would have the money from coldhardmetal then he would pay out everything isnt it? If he has all the usermoney and only is paying out 90% then maybe because he didnt get his wage yet. So i want to know if he got the missing 10% and if he got his wage for last month. At the moment i dont see why he shouldnt have gotten it till now. And nefario... i dont like to be drawn into your hostage-game. I dont have your wage so dont hurt me for it. Thanks! Sebastian

Sebastian From that interview, Nefario says it takes a long time to send out assets. Too bad he forgot that there was a test case earlier with Goat. When nefario became scared about legal responsibilities he could have resigned from GLBSE and gave it over to someone else. Instead he let his greed overtake him because if he resigned he would have to give the GLBSE code to someone else. Now that he left he has the funds and the source code. Like that will do him any good anyway, I would not go near him or any other GLBSE partner.

+1. I would not touch Nefario & C. with a ten foots pole. Or maybe I would, but not for investing.

Goat was probably done with a fast hack. Now he wants to code a simple script to do it. I think thats nefs thinking. At least the past looks like he will think so. And youre right... its a castle in the air. I mean he would need to find people that trust him and that have enough money. He speaks about that he needs crowdfunded 1million usd... he will never reach them to create his new platform. I mean think about it... he shut down glbse knowing that the shareholders will lose all their money because glbse is worth nothing then. He didnt care. So giving him money again would be a big risk. But regarding the old platform. I dont think that he could have give out the code and he is out. Because its an unofficial thing. Even when he sells the code he still would be held responsible as the owner because he would had a hard time to explain that something illegal, that doesnt exist officially, has been sold and the new owner isnt known. That would look like he deleted his traces and run it now even more anonymous. He could only be out of it when he could sell it officially. But no one would do this when this is really illegal. Or would some indian do it maybe? I only say i dont think it would be so easy for nef to get out of this.

Since when an accused has to prove his innocence? It used to be the other way around.

Since always. Criminal courts are a special exception where there's a presumption of innocence. Elsewhere, the evidence alone rules, there are no presumptions.

It's called "preponderance of evidence." You just have to look "kinda guilty" to be found guilty in a civil court. So yeah, you have to prove your innocence.
|
If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it. There was never anything there in the first place.

You are saying here, that Indians are doing illegal things & do illegal things? You want to misunderstand me? I say that they probably are safer there when running such thing. Or you think government there is caring about such? If so there are plenty of countries where government isnt interested in such things.
