I don't really understand why Bayern Munich chose Vincent Kompany as their new manager. Kompany doesn't have a lot of experience as a coach, so I doubt he can bring Bayern Munich back to their high level of performance. I really havnt heard anything from Vincent Kompany and how he is working , but i guess that he was the only Coach that wanted to be in Munich.

Bayern had difficulty finding a new coach because several coaches such as Nagelsmann refused to return after the previous expulsion which made him not want to be involved with Bayern so Kompany was the fastest way to find a replacement option when Tuchel could not be expected.

If today was 1st of April, I would be 100% convinced that Bayern appointing Vincent Kompany is an April's fool joke. But apparently this is really happening.
I get that he had some success in getting Burnley to the big boys league and he even earned a few EFL Championship Manager of the Month awards in the process, but he's just not there yet in terms of proving he's capable of running a top European club.
Maybe if he was to manage to get Burnley to the middle of the Premier League table we could speculate that he might be naturally great and talented, but his team got relegated after winning only 5 games in the entire season. That's not really something to brag about.
From the brief reading I've done, the media are speculating that Bayern has failed to secure other candidates and might not have had too many other options available. This is the only angle that makes sense to me.
Whoever is going to win the Bundesliga next season, I'm pretty sure it won't be Bayern.

Some criticism about a coach isn't just based on his achievements  when he was stil a player, although it matters as it will be the basis of examination especially when such a coach is just starting for the first time but after several years of coach the judgement and examination changes from his achievements only as a player but even as a coach in the number of years he has been a coach.

Beyond just these judgement of how long a  Coach has been coaching is his experience with various leagues and country for those who has been able to catch a country much more before now, in the case of kompany, with his level of his experience I'm not seeing him as suit enough for the German team at this moment, because he doesn't have much experience around the German style of football and he isn't a very brilliant coach that can be rated a top international coach tho he's antecedents are fair but not enough to handle a team like Bayern Munich who's looking forward to reclaiming dominance In a league as the bundesliga after they have lost it to a fast rising team who's coming with every force they have got.

Most of the teams kompany have managed were just doing within and a bit above average and that's not the kind of mentality Munich needs, not when they are having Leverkusen been headed by Xabi with a very strong winning mentality and a healthy psychology after the records they created this season and the trophies they won flawlessly, I'm still of the opinion that kompnay isn't the best ofr Munich even I he isn't a terrible coach aswell.

I'll give a big clap for bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart for their unique performance this season for thier unique form and positiom on the league, Leverkusen has created a history of been unbeaten in their league, I would never had expected them to do this well but what was beyern doing, although they did well but they couldn't leave this season with any trophy even as a big team that has been winning their league for so long now, they even lost this match against Hoffenheim, I must say their performance wasn't the best this season, although i can't blame tuchel, he has been a good coach but I think it's the start of a whole new history where every club gets to win the league now.
