What I just observed from the match is that it’s not going to be easy for Dortmund to just win the match easily. Even with Leverkusen's very strong advantage. Kompany has a big job to prepare for next season. He must have a difficult choice to keep his current players and bring in some new ones for next season. I'm not sure if the Dortmund coach has had a positive impact on the team. But I know that Dortmund often experiences an increase like this towards the end of the season, and they also experienced the same thing last season. After a season like this, a coach like Alonso and great players like Wirtz realize that being successful repeatedly is not likely to happen with Leverkusen because the will come when these teams will fall apart as offers from outside are too compelling. That is why these players they to find the right timing and this has certainly come for Wirtz. Alonso is doing the right thing because what should he be waiting for?

I am curious whether this will snowball and more players now plan to leave the club after they have now become aware that some of the most important people in the club are on the run.
