That reminded me of 2001. Schalke had won its game and was already celebrating the championship. But the game between Hamburger SV and Bayern Munich was not over yet. And in the last second Bayern Munich scored the goal to 1-1 from a free kick. So Bayern Munich was German champion and Schalke for 4 minutes.

I don’t know if Tuchel can improve Bayern, just look at the substitutions that he made in the last match with Cologne, I’m not sure that he himself understood what he was doing. With such short amount of time it is tough for any manager and Tuchel still managed Bayern better anyway. The situation at Bayern wasn't great to begin with when he arrived and Bayern had some tough fixtures with CL games as well so it was tough for Tuchel especially coming after a break of nearly 6 months.

He was one of Tuchel's favourite players back when he coached in Dortmund and now tries to get him to move to Munich.

My hate for Bayern will forever be real, every year the same.

Bellingham also has the green light to go to a new team, another sad story but it was expected. Most likely he with be with Real next season, it's just about the money now.

What I never understand is why Dortmund is often making so bad deal when giving up superstars. Real doesn't have enough money to pay the transfer fee so they are asking to pay like 100 million plus extras, wtf is this. If he was in England or Spain some teams would pay 200 million in cash.

But Dortmund always gets some offers wher they are trying to pay in instalments of 3-4 years, ridiculous.

If you can't afford a player, don't buy him and don't pay horrendous salaries to lure players to Madrid.

Schalke couldn't save themselves from relegating directly. They still had a chance to at least join play-out games on the final week. Getting a win against Leipzig was going to be enough to do that but they couldn't show a satisfying level of performance and lost that game as well. After watching them in the 2nd Bundesliga I thought they would be better here this time.

However we saw nothing different than Schalke in general. There was a time period they started to get better results which gave them the chance to fight for play-out before the end. But they wasted it as well.

Schalke were at place 17 and 18 for 23 matchdays. Their highest place in the table was place 12 at matchday 6. They tried the whole season not to get relegated. Now they have to go back down to Bundesliga 2 after only one year. Last season they were the favourites for promotion. It will certainly be more difficult now and we will see if Schalke will have to stay out of Bundesliga 1 for a longer time.

I don't know how they can perform so differently in the 2nd Bundesliga and Bundesliga. I know that there is a solid quality difference but still Schalke aren't a team with no experience in this league. They have really nice memories in here as well. They just can't do anything to bring back those times. There has gotta be a way to make a big improvement.

I wonder how rich they are now. I guess they aren't in a very stable condition financially. But if they still have enough funds to convince some useful players then they should go for it. However they can't convince them in the second league so they will need to wait for promoting to the Bundesliga again.

Bad decisions by Bayern Munich's management led to the deterioration of Munich's performance. It is nothing new that the performance of the team will be somewhat erratic if the coach is changed. It takes time for the players to adapt to the new coach and the coach's match strategy. And Munich's players have yet to adapt to Tuchel's match tactics. Because this is the Final, both of teams still have the possibility to win, also based on the head to head these both teams are quite equal. But Leipzig this season is so great, they are not easy to beat. Also, after being able to beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena some time ago, Leipzig might also be more motivated to win. Even so, somehow I also believe in Frankfurt, let's hope they can win in that game.

The head to head statistics aren't really relevant in this game. What does head to head help anyone when you are playing a really bad season? When head to head would have any meaning apart from the form, this Bundesliga season wouldn't have seen so many surprises all the time.

Leipzig has played a much better season with 16 points more than Frankfurt, but Frankfurt has shown that they are a different team in the DFB Pokal this season. But, if I consider the available odds, then of course Stuttgart is the favorite to win. Thats right Hamburg was playing last year and season in the relegation against Hertha Berlin and have not made it.
Suttgart also have some experience in things about relegation games as they was playing 2019 against Union Berlin.
My heart is also for Stuttgart.

So, playing at home Stuttgart should be able to make the most of it, because this is a big chance for Stuttgart to be able to return to playing in the Bundesliga next season.

The battle for a place in the Bundesliga for next season is taking place over two legs and I just found out about this. It looks like Stuttgart are favored to win because they are the hosts, but Hamburg will definitely put up a strong fight considering this is an opportunity for them to steal points first at home to their opponents.

Maybe I don't have many predictions for these two teams, but if you look at the two H2Hs, Stuttgart really dominates with quite a lot of wins. So I think Stuttgart will win narrowly in the first leg and it is possible that the game will also end in a draw.

yep right. if you look at Stuttgart's struggles from the start of the season to the end, it should be very easy to get more aggregate points when playing at home because with this Stuttgart can still have hope to continue in the next bundesliga season. but if Stuttgart in the first leg of the Bundesliga Playoff cannot take advantage of today's match, I will be very disappointed if Stuttgart cannot continue its struggle in the Bundesliga next season.

Despite losing the Bundesliga title to their number one rival Bayern Munich in the last moment, Dortmund are still about to achieve one of their biggest targets. It is to make a big profit in transfers. Even only selling Bellingham would make them be in a huge level of profit. Because Real Madrid are expected to pay a transfer fee which is worth not less than his market price.

His current market price is €120m by the way. When he was transferred from Birmingham first his market value was €27m. Just look at how much he has increased his value! It must be feeling sad for their fans to be about to lose their most important player but I don't think the board would be that sad.

In the end they would be happy as long as they sell this kind of talented players for a huge sum of money. They can fill his place with another promising young player and move on.
