It gets annoying when we see Bayern Munich winning the league for another season in Germany and they are the only teams that can win the league while other teams can't even race with them. However, this time Dortmund had a good chance to even win the title until the last minute and they failed because the reason Dortmund lost the league against Bayern Munich is usually that they can't keep the useful players they had like Haaland and Jude Bellingham.

That's right but we should agree that the reason why Dortmund was very close from getting the title is not because they are good enough but because Bayern Munich wae very bad this season, i believe Bayern will be able to hold the trophy for very longer time because the competition in the bundesliga liga is easy for them

Why do you think that Dortmund has not that chance again to win the German League Title next year.
They getting better and better and every year they getting closer to Bayern Munich, and with Leipzig and Union Berlin there are now 2 more Teams for fight the Title.
Bayern Munich caused the problem themselves with kicking there coach out in an important time they have got a lot of important games.

Of course Borussia Dortmund has the chance again next year again to become Bundesliga Champion, just like every other team of the league has the chance to win it. It is also obvious that for at least 15 teams those chances are only of theoretical nature and i also think that in the next years it will be harder for Dortmund to get a really good chance to win the title. This year Bayern Munich did not play well at all over a pretty long period of time. This happens maybe twice in every ten years so i doubt that this will happen again in the next season.

And the truth is that if Bayern is delivering, then there is nothing that Dortmund or any other club could do to become Bundesliga Champion because Bayern is simply to strong.
I also don't think that Dortmund comes closer and closer in the last few years. Looking at the squads. Bayern is probably more far away in terms of overall quality that they ever were in the last 10 years. Now that Bellingham is gone, there is probably not a single player of Dortmunds squad, that would make it into the starting eleven of Bayern.

It's sometimes being so hard to win against the small club in the bundesliga. That's why im thinking of terzic must focus to rebuild its team especially in the attacking lines and defenders.

Dortmund has so many good midfielders but not for the defensive lines. It was always conceded so many goals. that was making me feel so bad to see that.

The defensive line must be changed as preparation for the upcoming season. it's become my main concern if i were terzic.
Try to learn from what happened in the past to make the club to be even better in the future.

I won't accept anything like a mistake winning or luck here, Bayern Munich might not be in their utmost feat but they deserve what they got, after all, they didn't get to the first 2 levels by chance before they eventually win the league among the 18 clubs who contested it. Bayern Munich is a strong name in Bundesliga and might retain this for a longer time, and even now, they are facing challenges, if not, the point they were supposed to gap their next opponent should be much. This is the same thing that cost them the Champions League, but let's be patient for Tuchel, though his first impressions are not good, I still believe in the club.

Besides, we should not be using the financial stand of a club to be judging all the time, maybe we can learn from Seria A this season, it's more about the coach and the team thereof. Once they are good and determined to play, then they can be so surprising.

Isn't it a bit too romantic to say it is more about the coach? I think it is a mixture of many things and the coach plays a big role. I doubt that Guardiola would have won the Premier League with Southampton or that Tuchel would win the Bundesliga with Augsburg. Money is a big factor 90% of the time domestically and from time to time you have some deviations where a club actually becomes a statistical outlier and wins something despite weaker financial resources. But generally speaking, money is important. Cut Bayern Munich's money in half and see how many of their players can be retained and then see whether they are going to win the Bundesliga.

I am only talking about the domestic competition here. Internationally we have seen that a club like PSG fails all the time, but domestically PSG is literally buying the Ligue 1 title. Not only on the paper , also on the field i believe that they win and that Dortmund will make it this time to catch the title.
I guess that the blame will not fall on Tuchel when Bayern Munich end up with nothing this season , the blame will be on the managment for sure.

Dortmund has a lot of experience in recovering and seeing that their team can come back as the best, there is no doubt about it, but personally what they did was very admirable, they were about to beat Bayern, I don't deny it, it would have been something very epic, also I would not have imagined Oliver Khan's face if that had happened, luckily for them everything went well, well, it's not something so good, because I think Bayern could have done much more in the UCL, but they played almost heartless and those are the consequences, football is like that, you can't get discouraged because things quickly go very wrong.

I fully understand you on this, but it's obvious you took the words out of context, or you didn't read it in full. Coach has a very vital role in football but I can never give the praise of the success of any club to them alone. If you read my full post, you would realize that my defence is more about Bayern, many believe that their winning was not merited, which I don't accept. And I further iterated the effect of the coach and the entire team as determinants of the success of a club in most cases.

I already said this before, but i really think that the chances of Borussia Dortmund to become Bundesliga champions this year were extremely high and i don't think that they will get such a big chance again in the next 5 years or so. As you already said, Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the Bundesliga and if they are able to at  least reach like 85% of their maximum performance level, then they will win the Bundesliga no matter what the other clubs are doing. This year this was not the case and still Dortmund was not able to profit from that. Now Bayern should be alarmed again and take the next season more serious.

Dortmund only had chance to meet and compete with Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich was not in a good form', if Bayern Munich was sound like the way they used to be normally I don't think Dortmund will have they opportunity they had. Honestly Dortmund missed a big opportunity to  get  the  championship, this can take they a  long time for  them to come across another opportunity because Bayern Munich is a strong team and I doubt if Bayern Munich will be this poor in performance in next season. For a new team in the bundesliga with their first achievement to enter the top 4 of the standings, this is very good, especially Union Berlin will appear in the champions league for the first time too. So I think that rather than being able to compete with Bayern Munich, which consistently wins the Bundesliga every season, it's better for Union Berlin to focus on consistently competing in the top 4 in the next few seasons or at least not get out of the mid-table zone because as a new team they have to prove to the fans that they really deserve to be in the bundesliga.

There's no doubt that Union Berlin performed well this season especially during the start of the season and I can remember that they have been at the top of the table and have contested in several ways but it is unfortunate they were not the Champions and it is fortunate that they will appear in the Champions League.

I guess Union Berlin isn't half bad for getting the number 1 spot when the tension in Bayern Munich has worsened that time, but they still manage to win a lot of games and manage to hang on to the top of the Bundesliga, if they target the championship the next season they need quality players for the next season, pretty much it is a decent decision in getting many players Right now Alex Kral and Sergiño Dest is on the talks if Union Berlin can get a hold of these two they could have some edge on the defense and offense well this is just rumored and not yet confirmed but I think they deserve much better, they need a quality Striker,

This season is one of the best seasons in the Bundesliga in terms of competition, the Bundesliga has to finish the last game to see who is the champion. Of course we haven't seen this in a long time and when there is competition like that then we are happy to see it through to the end of the season. there is no need to be in doubt for the long term about Dortmund because coach Edin Terzic certainly has a better plan to welcome the next season. it is impossible if Dortmund sells several players but they do not yet have a view of who is a better replacement to strengthen Dortmund's performance later.
and I'm sure that after Dortmund failed to reach the top of the standings, in this new season, Dortmund will immediately change the pattern of players and replace them with even stronger ones.

Union Berlin was not ready to play for the German championship. They played a great season and nobody thought they would end up in the Champions League. They went far in the Europa League and also in the DFB Cup. They reached the quarter-finals there.
They will certainly strengthen themselves in the summer break and also finish in the top 6 next season.

I agree with this, they need more solid players in the squad, the players they have this season have not been enough for them to maintain consistency so they have lost their place. They even lost their place before the first half of the season ended, because at that time I predicted they would maintain the top of the standings at least until the first half of the season, but in fact they didn't.

Agreed about this in this season we have good challenge from Dortmund and this was not just because of better quality from them, it's just happened because Bayern Munich having trouble, and they were on decline which allowed Dortmund for having better result in this season.

If Bayern Munich management no sacked Julian Nagelsmann then surely we are going to have this all one-sided affair because they were doing amazing performance with having fair chance for the better end of this season, but one wrong decision bring them down badly with now things looking better as they are bringing few good changes for better performance in next season with Sadio Mané is also leaving as he fails to have any positive impact on this team after having good time in Liverpool.
