Choupo-Moting was not their plan initially but even his sudden shine could not save Bayern Munich in the past season. He is not a striker who can play well in big matches and we saw that weakness in World Cup 2022 with Cameroon and with Bayern Munich in Champions League.

I think that Choupo Moting is a very good player and i am surprised that he never really made it into the starting eleven for a very big club in his career. He has everything that a player needs to be a great striker and in addition to that he also has a very smooth technique in my opinion. When Lewandowski was injured two seasons ago Choupo Moting showed a really great performance. Sadly he was injured during large parts of the second round of the Bundesliga in the last season so he could not really show his capabilities there.
That being said, he is already 33 years old so Bayern definitely needs a new number 9 now that really had the potential to replace Lewandowski over a whole season.

For me, the only person who can replace Lewandowski's position is Harry Kane, but if Bayern Munich manages to take over Harry Kane, it's because there are so many people who are after this reliable player, even at a very high price.
Bayern Munich have made offers to Harry Kane several times, but until now there has been no recent news from there whether Harry Kane has accepted the offer or indeed Bayern Munich must look for other reliable players again.

and without a doubt that kane saw this, also because tuchel was chelsea's coach so players like kane obviously saw how tuchel's methods are, on the other side we have tottenham who must think a lot about what they will do without kane, for me it is something clear that an eventual departure of kane would sink tottenham a lot, kane = tottenham. It's hard to imagine Tottenham without Kane, so it's a very difficult decision for both Tottenham and Kane. what about bayern they really need a great striker like kane or mbappe or haaland but sure they have no chance of getting mbappe and neither does haaland and i don't see other great strikers for them to have in the team

I know Harry Kane is a good player but I find it a little bit exaggerated to see him as the unique choice that many teams are chasing starting from EPL teams to La Liga (Real Madrid) and Bundesliga (Bayern Munich) ones.

I believe Bayern Munich are keen to sign Harry Kane as they will not turn their backs to other alternatives after their first offer was turned down. I think well that Tottenham will consider strongly enough for them to make a lot of money from selling Harry Kane because if they insist on rejecting the second offer it could be that they will lose Kane next season for nothing if Kane doesn't want to extend the contract.

Well he is a pretty perfect signing or target for Bayern Munich if they manage to get him. Because Harry Kane is very influential in the front line for the team because he is able to score goals when needed and his skill in finishing will make him a suitable replacement for Lewandowski departure last season.

I wonder what Bayern Munich's plans are about signing a centre-forward these days. They made their first offer for Kane but it was way lower than the amount Levy wanted for him. Considering that the first offer was around 75 million euros or so it doesn't seem like Bayern Munich are keen on spending 100 million or above for Kane.

Honestly I started to think that they won't pay that much for him and instead they will go for cheaper alternatives.

100m is a big valuation for Kane, regardless of the  contribution he can bring to the team and also based on his age.. It would have been cool 3years ago!!  but right now, 70-80m in total is not bad!!! 100m is a bit overpriced

after Tottenham found out that Bayern Munich really wanted Harry Kane, Tottenham set a very high price. even though the price offered is very high, Bayern Munich could have paid it, but Munich prefers to wait, not to be hasty in spending its money to get just one player because Bayern Munich also needs other players in midfield.

Despite selling Nkunku for a really nice amount Leipzig still have four strikers in the squad. Benjamin Sesko is their new signing who arrived at the team yesterday. They signed him for 24 million euros and he can be another player to shine in this league to draw the attention of bigger teams later. Is it Tottenham wanting 180 million for Kane? I haven’t seen such information anywhere, but it’s definitely a lot, if you believe the news, Mbappe will go to Real for that kind of money, but I think Mbappe’s level is much higher than Kane. It is very unlikely that Bayern Munich will agree to such an offer and I think even if there is a valid source who says this, then it is clear that Bayern Munich will choose to look for another striker in the summer. I agree that Kane is still an amazing scorer. He is more than a scorer though. He is one of the best complete forwards in even football history in my opinion. He can perform superbly even for Tottenham which struggle to have an achievement. This season was horrible for them but Kane still finished near Haaland in top scorer table - 30 goals vs 36 goals.

I'm very confident that Kane can be this much productive for at least 4 or 5 more years. But definitely the problem is money now. Levy is so obstinate about keeping him at the team unless he gets the amount he would like for him. That amount is a really huge one for a striker at this age.

Kane is a proven goalscorer every season. And he did it in a team like Tottenham. Everyone wonders what he can do in a bigger team. Harry Kane's prolificity in front of goal can never be underestimated. He's the best complete striker in the English Premier League for over the last 6 years and that's to show his consistency in what he does.
Bayern Munich knows his worth and knows the kind of quality values he's gonna bring to their attack if they finally signs him. Tottenham are very reluctant in letting him go because they know how poor their team is gonna look without his presence but I think Bayern Munich's advantage in this pursuit for the heavily talked-about striker is the fact that he already wants to leave. Bayern will be a team to beat if they finally bring Kane to Allianz Arena
