Gambling. Is It Wrong?

Gambling is not wrong but for some people it is wrong, they are fast addicted and due to this they keep playing over and over and get stuck.
I think gambling is fun but you do not have to play too much.

Those that are susceptible to get addicted to gamble should know better, they lack knowledge of themselves, for example, I know that I cannot fight at all, so do you think that I go around looking for a fight on every dark alley? Of course not, so know yourself and if after doing an analysis of who you are you come out with the answer that gambling is not for you. Then never gamble is that simple.

Gambling is actually not wrong if you gamble  only for fun and do not spend to much or play to much. As we all know that all too much would always be not good.

Yup I agree. Because for me gambling is bad depend of a person who play this kind of activity. If you are out of control then you should not continue playing this but if you know how to handle everything I guess it's fine for you to play.

It's hard to handle it when you're losing. Very hard, because you want to get the money you just lost back.

That is true, but when you feel that you really don't have luck, it is better to stop or stay away in gambling immediately for you to not lose more money.

I hope that is the scenario all the time but most gamblers does not stop when they experience loses and they will only stop when they ran out of money. Really hard to control ourselves in gambling because of the mix emotion that we are going to experience.

All of us should have a self-discipline especially when it comes in money or financial because once you've entered gambling we can really temp to play again and again especially when we get easily hooked with it. And the truth is it is really hard to quit in gambling when you are already addicted into it.

Because money is the most important to us to live a wonderful life in this world, having a discipline to manage our money is good although we are also gambling and we consider that as fun for us not to risk our finances and might ruin our life in the end.

100% correct. Gambling is not wrong. The Gambling need some special talent to make money. Only countable gamblers have this type of talent. Here no degree will help you to win your bet. If your genius in your profession but that will not assist you in gambling. I think either you may be born lucky, or you have extra talent then only it is possible to make a profit in gambling.

That is the reason we are having religion and our ancestors were emphasizing the importance of following a religion. Commonly people are not caring about themselves but they do care about religion and fear about sin.

That's right, if gambling is wrong then gambling is not created. Gambling is created for the sole intention of the operators to give entertainment of the gamblers but gamblers operate it the other way so they need to face the consequences for not gambling responsibly.

Agreed. Gambling is totally a new world which has come from the planet Mars (?). If you are not manage yourself with gambling successful, it is not your mistake because you were not born with that capability. You do not have any other option other than quitting to avoid gambling problems.

Gambling is legal in certain countries and in some countries like USA you have states that have legalized gambling, so from the point of view of these societies gambling is not wrong.

And about religion it depends on the religion you believe in.

Gambling is not wrong because it is one of our entertainment. But the way the people gamble is possible to be wrong example a grown up person have an exact amount to pay for something very important but this person tried to gamble the money and end up losing the money that should be use to pay the important matter that is when the person gamble in the wrong way.

Well as we all know that this thread would continue as long there are signature campaigns because of post qouta and  the answers keep repeating and repeating and i dont think OP could even read 189 pages of comments of different users on this forum. Back to the topic  Gambling would be wrong if you  got addicted into it and if you already compromises you money,family and  your health.
