The match between Hurkacz and Djokovic is very close. These days we were able to see players in the lower order able to give the best competence. After a very hard fight Djokovic have won the first set 7⁸-6⁶. It looks like the second set will move to tie breaker. All the top seeds are on the competence. Hope this tournament will be very competing as Tsitsipas, Medvedev, Alcaraz, Rune were on the list.

Djokovic is currently leads 2-0 and the match must temporarily suspended and resumed today. Hurkacz is quite good on grass that's why he can put up a tough fight and not let his opponent break his game, even though his ranking is not in the top 10 but he was against Djokovic a few years ago in R32 and managed to take a set, and when the match resumes there are big chances for Hurkacz to take the set from Djokovic because that will change the match.

Eubank will be Tsitsipas' next tough challenge and I think the American has a chance to beat the top seed, both have good serves so a lot of aces to come.

I was reading the post from @n0ne and I was surprised that Novak Djokovic lost the match. I instantly googled who actually won the match. Then I realized that @n0ne was talking about the third set . I was actually surprised that even after having so much advantage in this match, how did Novak Djokovic lose!! But then I realized it was only the third set. And then, when I read the post from @romero121 I realized that as well.

Anyway, congratulations to Novak Djokovic for being able to win this match. In the next match is going to play against Rublev in the quarter-finals. This is going to be a lot closer in my opinion.

It is funny that you say that Djokovic was giving his opponent an opportunity because sometimes I argue with friends about Djokovic and whether he does that on purpose. Whether he gives the opponent the feeling to have a chance against him and cause the opponent to get even more exhausted, and then Djokovic accelerates his own game suddenly and wins it easily. I have said so often... But every time they argue that it is normal for all players to have one weak set per match on average or something like that, but I don't buy that. Djokovic is a genius on the court and then makes unforced errors for 20 minutes straight. The opponent wins a set, next set Djokovic destroys him. Whenever I see those games I am puzzled how that is possible.

Set 3 went to Hurkacz and set 4 was won by Djokovic again. But it was not an easy match for Djokovic. Hurkacz demanded a lot from him and earned enough respect. His problem was that he lost concentration during longer rallies and was not consistent enough. The next match for Djokovic is against Rublev.

Did you see the game between Rublev and Bautista-Agut in Halle? First of all I think that despite the respect one can have for Bautista-Agut's performances taking into account his age, he is not a top player wo could be considered a yard stick for Rublev with reference to the back then upcoming tournament in Wimbledon. I saw some of the rallies between the two players and I thought that there is no way one of them could beat Djokovic or Alcaraz in Wimbledon. Like almost everyone else, Rublev would have to play this one match of his life to beat Djokovic. He has beaten him once in a final in Belgrade although I don't know whether Djokovic was fit. But in the other h2h matches Djokovic outplayed him by far. This doesn't look very promising for Rublev.

Rune won the first set and he gave good fight, but beyond certain point Berrettini loses easily. Anyhow the upcoming match seems to be interesting as Rune seems to be a tough contender. His win against Dimitrov hadn't happened easily, two tie breaker wins have given him the lead. Every learning will reflect in the upcoming matches and the two young players fighting to reach the semifinals makes it a worthy match.

I was also shocked after watching his performance in last sets because as he plays in first set and completely dominate against Rune I was expecting good win for him but in last three sets he was completely losing his calm and have no good chance to fight back which allow his opponent to set his place against no 1 Alcaraz which is going to be another interesting match.

Most chances Rublev will be destroyed by Djokovic because he is doing good job and Rublev is lacking of confidence in top matches which is surely needed to be work on by his team even he is also good player, but recently I watch him having not good chances against top players in big matches with most chances we will have all top players into last four with Sinner can complete line-up for the top four after Tsitsipas exit.

To knock Tsitsipas out Eubanks has proven his quality again and he won quite easily
over 5 sets. He was able to break Tsitsipas in each of the final 2 sets. Being a 5 setter
with a tie break thrown in too meant my over bet won!

He faces Medvedev now in the quarter final, I dont think they have played each other before?


Dissapointing for Berrettini, his run came to an end. He had a really strong first set
with unbelievable shot making but Alcaraz proved too strong.

Alcaraz v Rune - Alcaraz is big favourite but I have gone for another over bet on this
one, I think it will be close on a few sets.

It was an unexpected match and everything changed the situation, which at first had a chance to win ended in defeat.
Many people have lost their money in this game.
From the start I was unsure and didn't want to take the risk and in the end my guess was right.
If Rune meets Alcaraz later, he will be defeated, even just being able to keep up with the game feels difficult.

Of course he's a talented player but he doesn't like much pressure.
When things start to go wrong he basically stops playing tennis, personally I placed always some bet against him after he starts to struggle...

Berrettini was quite confident and deserved to win the first set. When he slipped away at the beginning of set 2 and layed down for a while, it was a great gesture by Alcaraz that he immediately ran over. After that Alcaraz increased the pressure and deserved to win all the sets.

Today Sinner will play against Safiullin. Sinner seems to have got the easiest way to get into the semi-finals.

I would not count on easy for Medvedev, Eubanks @5 gives good opportunity to see some handicaps on him, it is not that I think Eubanks will certainly pass, but on his form and Medvedev grass experience, I would call for tough match

IMO, odds on Medvedev to be worth putting money should be at least @1.45, so Eubanks is my pick

Djokovic will run over Rublev easily, it is always same story, Rublev can do it, but he always put a really lousy performance

I actually believed that Berrettini will win the game after winning 1st set but Alacrez was mega serious for the rest of the game and gave no chance to Berrettini. It seems the height is not an advantage anymore as Eubanks had the same problem yesterday but his luck was that Tsitsipas ran out of gas and kinda gave up his serve who allowed Eubanks to take over the game and also win on ACES because the odds for Aces were @1.05 for him.

In the quarter finals match between top seed Pegula and Vondrousova there is performance lag from Pegula and the same is well used and Vondrousova won the match 6-4 2-6 6-4.

Quarter finals between Swiatek and Svitolina is going close. After losing the first set in a much simple manner a good comeback in the second set. The second set moved to the tie breaker and Svitolina leads the tie breaker 6⁴-6¹ at some point and finally Swiatek won it 7⁷-6⁵. Expect the deciding set to have tough fight as the second set.

Pegula certainly did not perform as well as she should have. Expectations were high from her. And she actually failed to deliver. Probably was not her day, to be honest.

This match was a win for Svitolina. The first two sets were quite close. But the third set was easy for Svitolina. She is going to face Vondroušová in her next match. That is going to be harder for her to win. But I believe Svitolina should be able to win that match. Actually, it is going to be easier compared to what would have happened if she did end up facing Pegula.

Djokovic into the semifinals after beating Andrey Rublev in 4 sets, not an easy match in the first set and Djokovic lost the first set, but then as usual he handled all the pressure well, and continued his dream of winning his 24th Grand Slam title .
Rublev's defeat in the quarterfinals was like a nightmare for Rublev because it was his eighth defeat in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam, so his best achievement was the quarterfinals without ever getting past him for the semifinals.

Today's quarter-finals will be an interesting match, Eubanks and Rune are not the favorites in this quarter-final but both of them have the chance to surprise and make this Wimbledon the first GS semifinal for both of them, both matches have the opportunity to go over 3.5 sets.

so hopefully they will battle it out over 4 or 5 sets!

I really dont know how the Medvedev v Eubanks is going to go. Eubanks is currently breaking
new ground and is now playing someone who is only now getting to grips with the grass surface.
I think Eubanks has a decent chance here ans is indeed a good price at 5.0 but I think I will do
another over bet, I believe it will go over 3 sets at least.
