Congrats to Coco Gauff for winning her maiden GS title on home soil! The match was not very exciting despite 3 sets had been played. The match was really Sabalenka v Sabalenka where the Belarusian was fighting with her inner demons for the whole duration of the match. The crowd also played a huge role in Coco's success supporting her all the way. But anyway: the American has deserved it as her tennis yesterday was more balanced than Sabalenka's all out attack. Certainly not the last title for the young American.

Ah ery well done to Coco, she has been on a roll for a few weks now and this is the culmination
of her hard work and perserverence, she definitly deserved that win and I am happy to have
chosen right with te bet on her @ 2.0.

I definitely think there are more Gand Slam wins ahead for Coco, without any disrespect to the
likes of Raducanu and Fernandez who came from pretty much nowhere to contest the US final in
2021, Coco has worked hard for the last few years t get to this point and has occupied a spot
in the top 10 for a while. Definitely one to watch for the future.

Ah Coco has done really well, she is indeed hitting top form these last few weeks
and she seems to be progressing as a lot of pundits have said in so far as being a future
Grand Slam winner and a future #1.

If she manages to win from Sabalenka tomorrow I dont believe it will be the last
Grand Slam final we will she her competing in.

I thought Sabalenka would be able to overcome this young player but she failed to get her second Grand Slam title, and Coco Gauff did well but I missed the final.
I'm sure she will be a strong competitor for Iga Swiatek and Sabalenka in many tournaments and perform consistently, her career development has very encouraging so far, slowly but surely.

Sabalenka has been facing this since the semifinals, which resulted in her receiving a warning from the chair umpire because of her excessive emotional outbursts. Indeed it is difficult to handle the pressure when facing the host tennis player.
Medvedev vs Djokovic, Although Djokovic is the favorite in this final and will allow him to get his 24th Grand Slam title but it is quite doubtful he will do it, Medvedev on the hardcourt is a very good tennis player and Djokovic often loses when facing this Russian tennis player, what is interesting is Who will the crowd side with? because both players are not the players who are so loved at the US Open, not like Nadal at the French Open, Federer at Wimbledon and Djokovic at the Australian Open.

Đoković started strongly, breaking Medvedev in his 1st serve game and he's on his way to winning the 1st set.

I do believe that Medvedev has a decent chance here, but if he falls behind from the start his head will be his biggest opponent.
If he doesn't turn it around soon, I can see this being a really comfortable victory for Novak.

We can see that sometimes players get a little down when they lose a tie-break battle and Medvedev tries to get up, only Djokovic really doesn't give the Russian player a chance to get up.
What will be difficult for many tennis players to match is Djokovic making it to the final in all the Grand Slams he has participated in in the last 2-3 years, from 2021 to 2023 he only failed in the US Open and Wimbledon finals, the rest did not play because of vaccine regulations.

I wish the final match would have been spiced up with a little more competitive play. But it didn't happen. Against djko with such a high variety of shots, playing with one style of play from the beginning to the end of the match, the result was inevitable. Congratulations nole. He left no records that he has not broken. I respect anyone who can play tennis at such a high level at this age. I don't know how it can be explained that he can be present in the environments of tennis tournaments like grand slams and become champion regardless of age. Amazing. Hope to watch Nadal and Djoko final at wimbledon in the next 2 years.

There will still be more wins for Djokovic, more Grand Slam Titles with the way he played in the finals of the US Open. His target will now be to set a record that will be difficult to beat for any other player. He surely still has the ability to do so, I do not think he will stop playing Tennis any time soon.

A bit disappointed  it was a three set final match, frankly, I was expecting a 5 set thriller from such top players like Nole and Medvedev. After the match in the press conference, Nole said that the outcome was logical as he was underperforming two years ago when he lost to Medvedev.
