Nadal's conqueror, Shapovalov, will be playing against Casper Ruud next. Let's see if his win against Nadal is no fluke or at least show good tennis against Ruud, and maybe he can duplicate his upset win.

I am always hesitant to place bets on Shapovalov before the match. He has the talent to hurt almost anybody on tour but he often comes out and just throws unforced errors. I usually wait for first couple of games and try to judge his mood and then I place my bet if there is some value in the odds.

Really don't see much value in men's side of the draw today so putting my money on Jabeur. She won a lot of matches on clay this season and that is least favorite surface for Sakkari. Keeping my fingers crossed, it is WTA after all.

Jannik Sinner vs Tsitsipas game ongoing, Tsitsipas went to 3-0 but Sinner comes back strong and tie the score to 4-4, (now 5-5).

This will turn out to be another exciting game, up and coming Sinner against a clay court specialist in Tsitsipas and in the top 5 world ranking. I'm expecting that this might goes to a 3rd set win by Sinner.

the defeat of Sinner it was predictable because out of 5 matches against Tsitsipas ... Sinner was able to win only 1 (always here in Rome in 2020)! Also in this match it was the only tournament in which he won a set (!) against the Greek.

Live right now Shapovalov vs Ruud. Really interesting match, first sett will be decided on tie break.

Sinner again showing that he is not on that elite level and that he dosent deserve to be in the top 10. Tsitsipas also picking up good form lately. Djokovic was up a break in the first set but now FAA got that break back but i dont think there shouldnt be a problem for Djokovic to win.

I'm thinking of doing a parlay on both Zverev and FAA in this game.

Well, Zverev won, but I think Djokovic will beat FAA. Djokovic may not be back to his best yet, but he's still a formidable opponent... he even took Alcaraz to a tie-breaker in the final set last week! Djokovic at 90% of his best (or whatever % he's currently at) is still too much for almost everyone else on the tour. Also, FAA has a bad record against top-5 players (won 2, lost 11).

FAA lost, in straight sets, wasn't able to watch the game but by looking at the scores, it was really closed.

So most of the seeded players are going into the next round.

Another game between Zverev vs Tsitsipas, I might go with my boy Tsitsipas, haven't check the odds though, but might be the handicap bet for me.

I caught the second set from about 4 games in, as the score line suggests FAA gave
Djokovic a good game, some of the winners from both players were phenominal and
for FAA to bring the second set to a tie break after being broken early on shows 2 things,
Djokovic can be troubled and FAA has improved a lot in 12 months. Yea I also think the difference
in the Tie Break was mental strength and ability, Djokovic seemed to be able to bring up his
level but Felix not. Very entertaining watch though

^^ True, main difference with Djokovic an others are his mental strength (Nadal and Roger has this one as well). So it's really hard to defeat a Djokovic who is focus to winning the game whatever it takes.

For FAA, great improvement from his game, but there is still some flaw and mistakes that he needs to be corrected. Of course this mental game comes with experience, so hopefully he will gain so much from playing against the best version of Djokovic.

I don't think FAA improved at all. He always had the ability to trouble top players on his day. He has a great serve and good strokes to finish the points. It all looks promising on a good day like yesterday but then comes the bad day when the serve starts misfiring and all those strokes fall on the wrong side of the line. Problem is he often has those bad days and then there is no plan B to turn the match around.

I am thinking Tsitsipas is getting revenge for Madrid today. These conditions should suit him way more. Also taking Jabeur once more, she should have easier time tonight after having to dig deep against Sakari yesterday. I thought that bet is done and dusted and then she brought it home. Forcing her when ever possible, not gonna do it against Swiatek in final though.

OMG Swiatek made minced meat of Sabalenka today, 6-2, 6-1, she is very strong ATM,
she is the one who seems to be filling the void of Barty retiring.

I cant see Kasatkina or even Jabeur beating her. I like Jabeur's game but she can get
really negative during a match.

Back to FAA, I think he has improved a bit but his service game needs an overhaul, he doesnt
seem to have a plan B. Its kind of similar to the likes of Isner and Opelka IMO, they over rely
on the serve.

FAA yesterday played at a good level, much better from what I have seen in the past tournaments.
Meanwhile Djokovic he is playing again at TOP level, it was really really hard for FAA get a win against him in that situation.

It’s an amazing fact that we’ve watched the three greatest tennis players of all time play at the same time and push the boundaries of tennis.
Something like that will never happen again in any sport.
There were other good tennis players in their time like Murray or Wawrinka, but they didn’t have that mental strength like these three tennis players..
It seems that Carlos Alcaraz could be the natural heir to these three magnificent tennis players, but it all depends on how he will cope with the great pressure and expectations of the public and whether he will have problems with injuries.

If Nadal plays Roland Garros i dont see him going far at all in this tournament. His injury looks serious and he cannot give 100% like is expected from him. I think the main favorites for Roland Garros are Alcaraz and Djokovic for sure the best in form so far

This duel will be intresting but i see Djokovic winning 2-0 in straight sets against Tsitsipas. Also i think Tsitsipas is really tired because of how many sets he played against Zverev ,while Djokovic won against Ruud in straight sets pretty easily against a top 10 player

Really hard to predict how is going to win in this match, Tsitsipas has had a good game although he has to extend a lot of effort betting his opponent as compare to Djokovic who has a good line in the semis.

Don't think he will have much trouble against Tsitsipas tomorrow cause Rudd didn't give him a long match as it was done 2-0.

Now read somewhere that Nadal might be missing Roland Garros due to an ailing foot injury from this tournament.
We will just have to wait and see closer to the start of the French Open.

I have Tsitsipas ML,  , odds is too tempting not to bet on him. Maybe this will be his chance to beat Djokovic who knows.

I remember that there is a tournament last year that Tsitsipas was leading, won the first set and was in the middle of the second. However, it was raining so the game has to be suspended for a couple of hours. However, when they come back, it was a different Djokovic and Tsitsipas has lost the momentum. So perhaps this might happen again but this time, Tsitsipas will have the mentality to win.
