BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ?

Here in my country place, I think all the remittances that we had it here will adopt the and accepted bitcoin, many of the families here are working in the other nation as an OFW. There love ones who left here was often wait for the money transfer from the other country, and remittances here was spread out nationwide, But in the near future I do believed Bitcoin will be the best for them to use as money transfer to their families. So western union is possible to be disappear in the long run, this is only my thoughts and opinion.

Wester Union is for people who didn't know Bitcoin or for people who still difficulties with internet access, if they know about Bitcoin they will change the payment to Bitcoin, Bitcoin is more lower fee than other payment method. Bitcoin is better than Western Union in fee transaction.

Absolutely right, people well known by Western Union, but everyone don't know by bitcoin. That's why bitcoin is better for bitcoin's users and Western Union is better for everyone who don't know about bitcoin. But i believe in the coming years, bitcoin's users number will be increased than majority of the people will use bitcoin for amount transfer with less fee.

We have many remittances outlet here in my country, So I think western union can over take by bitcoin when it comes to money transferring. For every transaction charge in bitcoin it is very low, according to the member in cryptocurrency. And I do believed in that matter because it has other features that can be useful sooner or later in our lives.

Why are you comparing Bitcoin and Western Union? Not all people are using Bitcoin so they are using Western Union or other remittance center. I am using both if the person use Bitcoin then i send it using my bitcoin wallet, but if the person doesn't have Bitcoin then i used Western Union , Cebuanna or even a bank transfer.

That actually depends on the situation. WU offer money transfer with a very low fees. For domestic transfer, WU offers transfer fees of less than half a dollar. So WU is definitely better for domestic transfer needs.

However, bitcoin is better for international transfer than WU. Even if you have to shell out a good amount in fees and exchange rates, Bitcoin offers faster processing of transactions. But the involvement of third parties for a bitcoin transfer is none. Third party will be involved if you want to convert it to fiat which again attract exchange fees.

Even WU transactions are fast and instant but the only reason why bitcoin holds an upper hand over WU is because of low transaction fees involved in it as WU has a very high fees and users have to pay it as they don't have any other option but when they will be aware about bitcoins I am pretty sure that they will stop using WU and will switch to bitcoins.

Seriously what kind of question is this? I checked Western Union rates today.
If you want to send 100$ you have to pay 15$ fee. If you want to send 1000$ then you have to pay 53$ fee. You have to even pay 305$ fee to send 7500$. You can send 7500$ worth of Bitcoin for just less than 1$. Yeah, Bitcoin is better than Western Union, Paypal and all other crooks.

You completely ignore the main purpose of people using Western Union. People walk into a WU point to bring in a certain amount of money, where that same amount of money can be picked up elsewhere in the world by a known person in a matter of minutes. In some cases people also happen to use WU to pay whatever bills with cash money, where they walk into a WU point, deposit the amount to cover the bill and hand over the exact details, and WU takes care of everything. With Bitcoin if you send a certain amount of money, you are subject to the volatility that might lower the initial sending amount. In that regard, the fees of WU aren't that bad after all since you're guaranteed to get what is being sent.

We comparison Bitcoin with Western Union, Because in bitcointalk everyone know about bitcoin, and many members are here who use bitcoin for amount transfer. That's why we are discussion this topic. Western Union is still widely used world wide and we cant say that it is being replaced by bitcoins. Those who know about both the bitcoin and western union might prefer bitcoins but then both parties should agree on the mutual Service they gonna use for a particular transaction. It cannot happen that one person is willing to trade in Bitcoin and other one in western union. Both parties should agree on mutual solution.

I never used western union i went into bank sometime ago asking how it works since the seller worked with it,when i saw the feee i said no way i will pay such ammount ,i havent bought and forget about those thing.Bitcoin hasnt yet a safe place to buy and sell when it comes i believe we will save at fees,atleast it should....
The only problem at bitcoin is that cant be exchanged anywhere for a good fee for both not the ratio that is being traded.!
