That is the reason people are using bitcoins mainly for online transfers as bitcoin transfers are available for 24/7 you can send and receive money anytime and also instantly, and again the higher transaction costs are eliminated when it comes to online transfers using bitcoins, more and more people would start using bitcoins for online transfers.

I've already saw this image last year when I was still a newbie on bitcoin and that picture somehow convinced me to use and spread the word of bitcoin to some of my relatives overseas as they use WU to transfer money to their loved ones here on the Philippines. They loved the less fees, faster transaction feature of bitcoin and until now they still use bitcoin to send money. Bitcoin is no doubt better and maybe the best Grin

Yes bitcoin is better than western onion becaus its helps you to pay bills instantly otherwise its gives you load

Bitcoin and western union both provide a different niche. Not comparable at all...

yeah true, with bitcoin we can go anytime, but for now we should you use fiat for convert btc to main currency, it was a little bothersome

I would prefer using bitcoins over western union, my main reason is because of scammers I had to deal with in the past, which was partially my fault but that's no reason for anyone to steal money.

You are right when it comes to localbitcoins. But what if in many places in the world there are ATM's that support fiat to Bitcoin and vice versa. If you send some one $1000 worth of Bitcoin with a 0.0001 BTC fee, and the receiver can cash out his coins for fiat in a Bitcoin accepted ATM against a 0.1% fee for example, then it is definitely cheaper.

you actually think that ATM's are only 0.1% fee..
seriously check them out and do a example calculation, especially checking out the spread.. as that is always a hidden difference.

for instance
lets say the prices of bitcoin are:
$330 - bitfinex
$320 -btc-e
$325 - coinbase.

an ATM allows you to buys at bitfinex rate and sell your bitcoin at BTC-e rate..remember, spread is not fee.. so they can play with spread and not even mention fee.. but then separately add on a 0.1% fee after

so say you had $330.33 you would get 1bitcoin.. but then sell it from the exact same ATM machine. you would only get $319.68 back ($10.65 loss) and thats before playing with the volatility of different fiat currency valuations

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

At the moment bitcoin looses into the exchange into fiat ,as soon as bitcoin be able and accepted everywhere we wont be loosing any satoshi to convert, till that day we must collect and spend some coins and always refill our new bank system.

Of course it is better than W.E. Wester Union is an outdated, overpriced, overused, crappy piece of crap. Why not use PayPal?

Bitcoin is far better. Since it is not controlled by a central source, it is controlled by the community who makes transactions. These people also control the tx fees, keeping them low.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

People still don't understand that WU works differently, it's not for tech savvy people. You get cash in a window. When Bitcoin can provide the same with cheaper rates we can discuss...

In bitcoin you need only address to receive it anywhere, this is not like W.U , you need some document, to proof it.

Western Union is not outdated, lol they are pretty good (maybe the best) service on its field, bitcoin is better if the other party accepts bitcoin, otherwise you have to make the deal in fiat money and transfer maybe through wester union.
