No. IOTA is the platform. Wheras iotas is the tokens.
That was "ι", not "I". People won't find the letter "ι" on their keyboard

Don't rush it, make it perfect which means NO BUGS, that is almost a requirement for IOTA to succeed. Yes, it's possible. I have no trouble waiting several months if the final product is revolutionary. But still, watch the competition, it's a important factor too... First mover advantage is great thing we don't want to miss.

I can give this update:
We are having a potentially big breakthrough evaluated, which is why the slight delay. We're having our inhouse mathematician as well as other experts look over it as we speak. If this optimization works, it will make IOTA a lot more efficient in several metrics. We should have the results soon and details will then be provided, if it doesn't work we simply use the old approach, either way neither decision will heavily impact release schedule, it's still for June.
It's okay, looking forward to the release.

New website, blog, GUI and launch date will come this week. I will also hopefully get time to make that infographic about the supply of IOTA.
It really should be no problem. We use the SI unit system, which is used universally in science. Everyone is already familiar with megabyte, gigabyte and terabyte, the last 'petabyte' is a bit exotic, but it's only the total number, so should not be hard for people to grasp.
How do you calculate ? For example: like a human 1Mi = 1.000.000 Iotas or like a machine 1Mi = 1024 Ki = 1024 x 1024iotas = 1.048.567 iotas ?

What is the total coin supply? Is there a hard cap? If its in gazillions, how the heck do you price them in btc There is a hard cap. The number looks big because there are no decimal points to accommodate the m2m transactions. You can use Giota(GigaIota) as the base unit for human trading. There are 2.78 million of Giotas in total if I am correct.
