What did the Raptors actually said? TLDR, with the title of the article which their hope is still intact even without Leonard, they have already proven that, they showed their character as a team that they can defend the championship.

If they will advance again in the NBA finals, we've already seen that they have defeated the Lakers which is the best team in the West, so no doubt of the Raps actually.

After they beat the lakers, they proved that they are strong team even without Leonard. One of the best player that they have is Kyle Lowry which have good highlights in these past games. He's basketball IQ is really high and it is one of the reason why they dominated the last playoffs. Pascal Siakam is also one of the strongest players inside the court, he has high vertical jumps that helps the team in terms of scoring in the paint and also in rebounding.

Each team still has a pretty decent chance, I mean back in the day I was saying some teams have a harder path but I think any team could beat any team right now, we are in a situation like that interestingly. grizzlies and Portland only have 1 game difference, which means they could get 8th seed but do not forget 9th seed is important! the 9th seed and 8th seed will play a tiny series between themselves for the playoffs as well so that is important. And all the other teams are within 2 game distance from Portland as well, so there is a HUGE chance for all of that to change at any moment. I AM IN LOVE WITH NBA all over again.

Watching all of these games are awesome. I have bet countless amount of money for myself, I never bet this much, I am going to end up spending my monthly limit on 10th day of the month if I do not end up winning some more .

Relying on one superstar is not a good thing.
A team is a team. Everyone should contribute and they are proving that now.

For me it's the opposite as i'm really looking forward to the playoffs as soon as possible since some teams seems like they aren't even trying and yes there's only a few matches left since they already played 5-6 games.

We'll see once the playoffs starts, currently I feel like most of the teams that are in the top half of the standings don't want to pressure themselves since there's less stakes compared to the teams that are in the bottom half.
