Even with Davis and Lebron on the team playing they aren't able to win still.
The team really needs to be rebuild and stop recruiting veteran superstars and start to rely with young talents. Spurs won their game and that's one step to the play in, it's better for the Lakers to just miss this coming playoffs

Yes they are not on their best shape now as their team morale lower down so I guess they will not gonna make it this season as blaming game is now happening to them, so I guess this is not their best season so far and it indicates that even though how talented your rooster is it will not guarantee that you will win the championship. I think their coaching staff didn't succeed on how their rooster work well and this is important thing that they need to fix up next season.

If they weren't able to beat New Orleans Pelicans even Lebron James and Anthony Davis played with good stats, how come they can match with those teams left for them? Beating Denver Nuggets twice even has a low chance compared to being struck by lightning. There's a Phoenix Suns and Warriors too although they might be able to pass the latter team since Steph Curry is resting.

I even think the lower team OKC can beat them lol.

The Lakers are done now. It's a great run. See you LBJ next season as the number 1 All-Time Scoring list and I hope the Lakers will have a big overhauling attempt in the post-season.

Their fight for the season is literally over, but I would have preferred having them in the playoffs and it would have been of better advantage to prepare for next season, I like the idea that they should lookout more of these young players in the league and build team around them other than just these old folks.

That 76ers game was brutal.  The shocking thing to me about it wasn't that they scored 144 points and beat the Hornets by 30, but that they did it in such a balanced scoring way.  When I first saw the score I thought for sure Embiid would have 50 points as he chases behind LeBron James for the scoring title, but he only had 29, which is actually below his average.  That leaves him 0.3 points per game behind LeBron now as the race for scoring champion heats up.  I see that Durant, who is currently 0.7 points back from LeBron has nearly 20 points halfway through the second quarter in his game, so it looks like he's still trying to get that title.  I think it will come down to LeBron and Giannis in the end and whoever wins the scoring title might just be the one to walk away with the MVP, although Jokic is currently leading the MVP race and nowhere near the scoring title...

It was a close game, but the Lakers lost again. LeBron showed great performance by scoring 38 points, but it wasn't enough to win.

Yeah he could still score a lot but he doesn't seem reliable enough to close out games now. Was it 1 made shot in 4 attempts? I don't know what you will make of that but that doesn't really look good to me. Ran out of gas?

He is not on the same level as MJ or Kobe (RIP) when closing games but, regardless of the last shot, only four attempts looks really passive especially when the game is too close.

Yes, he was very consistent and it seems like he was really the missing piece of the team.
When Zion will come back, this team will be a scary team, they would have their own big 3, Ingram, CJ and Zion.

There are actually rumors that he could make a surprise return. Since Ingram and CJ are playing good, adding Zion would make this team even more dangerous.

I thought that Joel is leading the MVP race, although it may change because they have been losing games in their last 5 while Giannis is closing in.

I think though the race will be a 3 battle between the Giannis, Joel and Jokic. Yes James is playing good, but the Lakers is in no position right now.

If the Lakers still have enthusiasm, they will be able to win the Nuggets and the Thunder. However, it won't be enough because the Lakers also need their opponents(the Spurs and Pelicans) to lose a few upcoming games. Even if the Lakers somehow manage to finish the regular season in 10th place, the final result will still be sad for them because they will either lose to the Pelicans in the play-in tournament or lose to the Suns in the first round of the playoffs.

Do you watch the recent match of Lakers? If ever Lakers can go to Play-in tournament, they can easily get a spot on the playoffs because Lebron and Davis are monsters during playoffs as they already get the Championship to prove there skills. There’s no need to compared Nets and Lakers because they are both great team with great players capable to carry there team to Finals.

Of course, fans will be disappointed as it's another super team not able to make it to the playoffs. We slowly accepted that the Lakers has a very less chance of making the playoffs based on how they are playing now, but not seeing the Nets, I think that's another big thing, and I don't believe that it will happen.

Simmons has not played yet, imagine how it will improve the defense if he will be in the court.

Simmons is also a superstar, that's why he was traded to James Harden. Let's hope that he would blend well, otherwise, their bad chemistry will kill their chances to be in the playoffs or in the playoffs. Remember that Simmons hasn't debut yet with Nets, so we don't know what he can bring to the team.

Atlanta Hawks defeated Brooklyn Nets 122-115. Trae Young had a very good performance with 36 points and was the most effective player for the team to win.
Durant and irving scored 86 points in total but it wasn't enough for the win. Durant's performance was very good, but when everyone in the team is not playing well, it is a bit difficult to win a match

Damn, the Warriors surprises me again. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson both had 30+ point defeating a complete Jazz team. 
Poole especially has his nights but it became a consistent night scoring at high numbers. His confidence is way up compared to other players of the team.
Then there's Gary Payton II who I think made his father proud on that last quarter clinch moments. Cuts, 3 point, rebound, and defense. It may not be seen in his stats but his impact to the crowd is high.

Atlanta Hawks got a really nice win after a tight game against Brooklyn Nets. And it was a magical night for Kevin Durant too. He scored 55 points in this game and showed one of his best performances of the season. But when there is not a big team play, you can still lose the game like it happened here too. They lost by 122-115 still. However Brooklyn Nets must be still happy to guaranteed promoting to the playoffs. But it is impossible for them to enter top six from now on. So they will play an extra playoff round.
