Grizzlies will be having the game of there life with GSW aggressiveness. I'm curious on far they can go against GSW.

We are going to find out soon, Grizzlies defeated the Warriors in the play-in, I think the Warriors here will be making their revenge. With a healthy Curry, Green, and Thompson, that's all that is needed to win the game. The good thing here is both teams could play small ball as they don't have long center.

Grizzlies defeated Timberwolves last night 114-106 and finished the series 4-2 as well. Most of the series in last round ended up with a 4-2 result by the way which was interesting to witness.  Grin  Now, the last matchup in the quarter final round is certain too. Grizzlies are Warriors' opponent in this round. All of the matchups now are very competitive as far as I can see. My favourite teams to advance to next round are going to be Sixers, Bucks, Suns and Warriors. I believe that these teams are one step ahead of their opponents now. But we can still watch lasting series hopefully.

Yeah, the numbers in the regular season is nothing in the playoffs as they are back to 0-0 and this is going to be a series. It's a healthy Warriors now, with a few upgrades from their last championship run, but the team remain the same with Curry, Green and Thompson and Iggy and Looney. And now they built a solid team with Wiggins, Poole, Payton, Lee, and Kuminga.

Memphis will also miss their big man which was still out until now. Anyway, game 1 is very exciting because if you are a fan of the Warriors, you'll probably take the -2. Warriors had a good rest while Memphis continues to play, so I like the Warriors here, and if they lose in game 1, their series odds might increase I believe.

Prediction was spot on.  Cheesy
There was a time the Timberwolves surprised me at how good their defense is but that faded away on the 4th quarter. It's Ja Morant who dominated the game with his acrobatic moves and there's Jones despite finishing with just 10 points those are all crucial shots especially the couple of three pointers that was a lead changer.
Warriors next, both playing small ball and relying on speed and transition plays. It will be fun.

Suns and Heat are in my prediction and I am looking forward that it will happen. Both teams are too balanced and if ever they will meet in the Finals it will be intriguing to see how they will adjust to every win or loss of their game.
Experience-wise, they also have a mix of veterans and young core with Lowry of the Heat and Chris Paul of the Suns. Big men are both good with Adebayo against Ayton who both upgraded their skills adding a mid-range shooting capability.
But it's just a prediction, Miami Heat will have to go through Philly first then maybe Bucks or Celtics.

Miami Heat will have an easy journey in the 2nd round as Embiid of 76ers is reportedly out due to injury.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/joel-embiid-injury-update-76ers-big-man-out-indefinitely-with-orbital-fracture-concussion-per-report/

That means, the Heat will be in the ECF and will just be waiting for the winner of the Bucks and Celtics.

They just don't have the consistency to beat the Memphis.
I guess they need to improve their defense as they can easily give up huge lead, while the Memphis does not stop playing even if the lead is already big, that's the kind of attitude a successful team should posseses, that's why Memphis are successful as a team.

Warriors next, both playing small ball and relying on speed and transition plays. It will be fun.
Warriors specialty, they are good at small ball, and the same small ball that beat the Joker and his team.

It will be a revenge for the Warriors as Memphis beat them in the play-in tournament almost a year ago.

There's a huge part of defensive and offensive ends will lost on Sixers in absence of Embiid but we can still say that this team has a good shot to throw up knowing that they have strong roosters. Lets just see if Harden will click up and give quality performance to lift this team since if they could win without Embiid we can say that they level up already and able to compete with other much stronger team.

Not good for the Sixers, if they'll be eliminated again they'll just going to repeat what happened last season.

That injury of Embiid will be impacted to how the Sixers will play, not sure if this one will be an easy journey for the Heat maybe the remaining

players of Sixers will still hold and try to compete back, Harden and the rest needs to play overtime.

Really a hard journey for Harden after that last season defeat from the Bucks now on the other side, it might be repeated by the Heat.

We have all the matchups in hand right now. Heat - 76ers would be a really tough one and I think that it can end after seven games are played. And I think 76ers would win the series. Bucks are a very strong opponent for Celtics and I don't think that Celtics can get past them. This series can end by a 4-1 victory for Bucks I think. And Suns can get past Mavericks by the same result also. Grizzlies - Warriors might be a little more competitive I think and Warriors would be the winner by 4-2.

By reading those replies before you seem that 76ers will miss Embiid due to an injury.

I like to see series to push to game 7 but with the aggressiveness of Miami, it won't be easy for 76ers to win a game without Embiid
inside, small lineup but very fast and aggressive Heat will try beating them in every game.

We will see Butler against Harden showtime. These two stars will lead their respective team and will carry more with their offensive
attacks.

I'm also curious how far could the Memphis Grizzlies go against the Warriors this time, surely they don't have enough experience in the playoffs compared to the Warriors who became a back-to-back champion few years ago. This could be an advantage of the young players of Grizzlies so that they can learn against the heavy teams but looking in the current line-up, I know the Warriors will be the one to move up this round.

I'm also curious how far could the Memphis Grizzlies go against the Warriors this time, surely they don't have enough experience in the playoffs compared to the Warriors who became a back-to-back champion few years ago. Grizzlies are good no doubt about it, they have one of the most electrifying players, however, he was limited by Pat B in their series. And the Warriors is a good defensive team as well so it will be another hard series for Ja. And yes, experience will be on the side of the Warriors here since they have been in this situation before and should know how to adjust and react as to what the Grizzlies are going to offer in their series.

I'm also thinking that Memphis Grizzlies won't give up against Warriors that easy. Warriors are not like the old times I think. They are still strong of course but they are not like the season they dominated the regular season and won the championship later on too. Denver Nuggets were a piece-of-cake for them Because only Jokic was playing strongly for Nuggets in that series. And as a result, Warriors won the series by 4-1. But here, I believe Grizzlies can make this series end after seven games. Warriors would still become the winner maybe but at least we would watch a great series.

These two stars will lead their respective team and will carry more with their offensive
attacks.

I didn't know that Embid is injured so yeah if that is the case then Miami should have all the advantage as the Sixers rely on Embid. If the Sixers have finished the Raptors early and sweep them, I don't think that Embid will be injured. So they are going to rely on Harden and hopefully he shows in this playoff because he has a history of choking as well specially if the game is really very crucial.

Considering Warriors beat Nuggets in 5 games and Memphis beat Wolves in 6, I am guessing that it will be easy matchup for Warriors to beat Memphis on this series. Suns had a little bit of a problem because of Bookers injury but he is back and playing well without any issues, I am guessing Mavs will take 1 or 2 games but Suns will beat them as well, Heat could be looking great in the regular season but Harden joined late so I feel like Sixers is better right now as well.

Only game that I have absolutely no idea about is the Celtics vs Bucks. That series looks equally matched and I believe a 7 game series is not out of the question for that one.

I think a lot of fans would like to see a tense seven-match series between these two teams. However, this Embiid injury ruined all hopes of the 76ers, and it looks like the Heat will be able to easily reach the conference finals. At the same time, there are already rumors that Embiid’s fracture will not require surgery. This means there is a slight chance that he might be able to play in the last matches of this series, but it is unlikely that his late return will save the 76ers from defeat.

The horrible part about the Embiid injury is that the series was basically over. Pascal seemingly threw that elbow with a little frustration that his season was coming to an end. Embiid probably shouldn’t have been in the game at that point and I hope the league looks into this more. I haven’t known Pascal to be a dirty player, but the timing on this one and the seriousness of the injury just doesn’t sit right with me. The Sixers just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to post season play. Pascal might be the new Kawhi.

This might be the case, Pascal is really frustrated because they are playing at their home court and has all the momentum entering the 3rd quarter. But suddenly, the Sixers blew them away. 2019 playoffs, Siakal trips Joel, so I would say that he is a dirty player because this is not the first time that he tries to hurt Joel in a game. Unfortunately, it was a broken orbital bone, an injury that boxers get because they are punch that hard.
