It has been a really easy matchup for Miami Heat so far against Atlanta Hawks. They didn't have much problem in the games they won. And they are in the lead in this series by 3-1. Tonight, they can end this in their home court by making the series 4-1. And I strongly believe that this will happen.

Have you made that conclusion after the news that Buttler will be out in game 5 due to right knee inflammation? Perhaps you didn't even know that. Jimmy has been instrumental for the Heat this series so this injury increase the Hawk's chances to force game 6.

Lowry is also out but good thing coach Spoelstra still has players he could rely on. It's time for the likes of Herro to take over.

I didn't know that, yeah. But still nothing changed for the game 5 and Heat finished the job by 4-1.    But I must admit the fact that it wasn't an easy game this time for Heat. They barely won by 97-94. But this must be able to show that they are playing really strongly as a team even when they have an important player missing. This is a very important thing for a team to be successful I think. I wonder what they will do later in the playoffs. If Sixers win tonight, they are Heat's next opponent.

Yes they still won despite the loss of two key players but the result must have been a disaster for bettors who were not updated with the injury. They're lucky if they only placed a bet for Heat on moneyline although some of them went for a huge handicap for sure. I know of people who did the latter.

There are three important games tonight and the competition is fired-up for all of those series too. They all are going on 3-2 now. 76ers, Suns and Mavericks are leading their series 3-2 now and they can all finish their job tonight. I think that 76ers and Suns will finish it but I'm not sure about Mavericks. Jazz can carry the series to the seventh game of the series. But hopefully, we can have three competitive and quality games. The playoff round has been going on really nicely so far. I hope this competition level can be maintained until the end.

I'm not sure about the Sixers as well, I mean they have a good lead at 3-0 and then when Barnes comes back to play (ROTY), the complexion of the game did change and now the score is 3-2. If Sixers are going to lose this one, they are in danger of being the first time to lose a 3-0. So the pressure is on them in this game. Suns, yeah, they could close this out and so with the Mavs with Luka on top of the series for the Mavs.

Ayton and Chris Paul are looking great. Neither have them missed a shot in the first half but the rest of the team seems to be struggling a little bit at getting the ball in the hole. The Pelicans are looking like they want to force a game 7 in this series. The intensity is really picking up. Hard fouls and lots of talking going on. I don’t think the Suns want to let this go another game and put the series on the line without Booker in the lineup. You can expect to see them try and take things to another level for this second half. Stakes are high for both teams…

The Raptors tried to struggle in the first half, but it looks like the 76ers are going to end this series tonight as they lead the Raptors by 28 points in the final quarter. As for the Jazz, I think they are quite capable of defeating the Mavs tonight. Of course, this will only be possible if the Jazz's 3-point shooting percentage is much better compared to the last match.

Now it gets curious. Who will stop Giannis from small ball Celtics team?
Williams, Horford, Theis, Williams III? It should be someone who could equal the speed of Giannis and so does the strength. His dominance at the paint is not the question but how he can be stopped at gaining momentum before entering the paint is the big task.
While Middleton is out, this could be the best time for the Celtics to take advantage and steal one win from the Bucks home.

It will be a big challenge for the Celtics to stop Giannis mid post or even just bringing the ball and making that huge steps for a dunk. It could be combination of players, he will be double or even triple team.

The Sixers have a big lead now, it seems that they have exorcised the demon and not going into a game 7 as they are closing the Raptors because they have a good lead at 20+ points. Not sure what happen to the Raptors after the halftime because they seems to be in the game for the first 2 quarters at their home court.

Looks like it was the top 4 during the regular season and at the west side, it looks like the top 4's will head to head there as well. Dallas and Memphis will get this win I guess so it will be like this in the west.

That’s got to be his greatest playoff performance ever. He brought it tonight. Playing in New Orleans is special for Paul after having played their early in his career. You could tell it was extremely emotional for him. Now Booker can rest the hammy a little bit and hope that Dallas loses tonight so he can get a couple more days of rest. Ayton and Paul were great tonight. It’s going to be very difficult for anyone to beat the Suns when those two are shooting that high of a percentage from the field. Looking forward to the rest of the playoffs but I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed so far. I really wanted to see Ben Simmons and Zion Williamson come in to try and save the series for their teams.

CP3 made a history of his own, what's lacking now is winning the NBA Finals which I think not easy to achieved. Suns vs Dallas, this is a good match up because Booker is already back in the line up, but of course I like the underdog here which is the Mavericks.

We are talking about the Finals? Wait.... I think they have to pass through the Mavericks first, that's a huge test for them, and if they will ever pass that test they still have the Warriors who are very experience, and have won many championships together, and they are healthy now.

The discussion is about the Finals already?  But that's correct, Chris Paul has something that not every veteran has, it's to change the tempo of the game and he had been doing it with the Suns every time they are in the clinch. He had been reliable in their bad times and even got further to the Finals.
Now they are better, chemistry if overflowing and all they need is to step up their game or be at full throttle.

I saw New Orleans Pelicans Coach Willie Green emotional after the game, but I could say that loss was worth it. They fought every battle at their high level and made the Suns give their all to close the game. Better, they came from a play-in tournament and fought the top seed and won 2 games.
Pelicans will surely come back stronger.

They will double or triple team Giannis when he gets the ball. Horford + Williams will have all the works but they will have a help just like what they did against Durant. They will swarm him with 3 players and going to force turnover on Giannis or pass the ball.

They can do that but it will lead the shooters open. Though Middleton is not playing Bucks now have a lot of good 3-point shooters and for sure they already know that kind of strategy by their opponent so they are prepared for it. Let's look back how the Bucks beat the Suns in the last year NBA Finals.

But defensive teams are willing to give a long shot than a layup. Take for example what they did against Durant, he has a bad shooting slump throughout the series specially in the first 2 games. And that setup the tempo for the Celtics. So for sure they will focus on Giannis more and then rotate as fast as they can if Giannis will able to find the open man. So it's really up to shooters of Bucks to close the gap and hit their shots. If not, then the Celtics has a good chance to win.

That is one of the reason why the Celtics are the best defensive team right now. They are good at rotation and hustle that is why they can still defend other players even though they are focusing on one player and in this case it will be Giannis.

It is a mystery TBH for me on how they will stop Giannis or at least lessen his production especially in offense. I agree too and I would love my opponent to shoot a much harder three than a layup though the Bucks team has many good shooters as well. I predicted Celtics in 6 games here but if Middleton will play, I might go pick Bucks in 7 games. It would surprise me too if they will do what they did to KD with Giannis where he isn't the usual Durant that we've seen in playoffs. That might be his worst playoff series in his career.

Celtics though is not that far as far as 3 point shooting percentage as a team. Although the Bucks might be on the top of this category, their rotation might be enough to have the Bucks shooters missed their shots. I don't buy the argument though that Durant is not his usual self in the playoffs, we should give credit to the defense they put against him. And they are going to use it against Giannis but maybe when some few changes and tweaks to let Giannis works very hard in offense and defense.

Three of the quarter final matchups have been decided by the latest games last night. 76ers got a very comfortable win against Raptors by 132-97 and won the series 4-2. Suns and Mavericks each had a much more competitive game but they both managed to end the series by the same score like 76ers. Jazz would have had another chance actually but they lost by only two points and said goodbye to the playoffs. Now the decided quarter final matchups are like this:

The good thing with the Mavericks now is that they have proven that they are not just a one-man team, when Luka was out, everyone was stepping up and they beat the Jazz on some games. Though I believe that the Suns have the edge here, but I won't discount the capability of the Mavericks of beating the Suns as they are a good team for sure.

CP3 drops 33 points with 100% field goals in a playoffs season. For me I really find it awesome as I think it is a new top records in the NBA,  this is gonna be a good match between Luka and CP3. For now I placed a bet to the Suns even though Devin Booker is not going to play.
