I'll go with Nets against Cavaliers. I already picked them the first time I saw the match-up but with Allen not playing in the play-in because of a thumb injury, that increases the odds of Nets winning and staying at 7th spot.
I think I'll go with Clippers against the Wolves. I think the Clippers deserves a playoff spot more than the Wolves.

According to the rumors Nick Nurse (you can find a lot of articles in Google) is the frontrunner for the next Lakers head coach. He could be a good coach for the Lakers with his experience in the Finals against a top caliber team like the 2019 GSW.
There rumors as well that Westbrook might be traded to Indiana for Buddy Hield and  Malcom Brogdon. That seems a pretty fair trade though.
The Lakers also have cleared Loul Deng's contract and they might be looking to rebuild another good roster. Well, I hope they'll resort to a younger talents this time rather signing a veteran.

He was once a champion, lead the Raptors to its first championship, so for sure he has the talent to manage the talented team like the Lakers.
Hopefully Lebron will listen and will not overpower the coach as that is the nightmare of every coach that has worked with him.

For that I think Lebron should the one needed to trade since as I notice about him he is so self centered person and that affect their team chemistry because he always want to be always a alpha on their team. They don't need a coach, LeBron is there to take the coaching spot 😂, kidding aside, Vogel definitely was inconsistent and made some bad decisions this season, I can't exactly point it out but it was really bad, and also, Russ will definitely be on another team for sure, not gonna lie he performed well and racked up the assists department but man he is really throwing bricks.

I've been critical of him but he's done okay if you based it on individual performance. 18.5 points and 7.4 boards and 7.1 assists per game isn't that bad. The real problem is that this may not be enough to justify his $40 million salary. Not to mention he's also aging.

He has the option to stay or become an unrestricted free agent for 2022-2023 season. I think he'll choose the latter with how things are going.

Agree, the biggest problem with this team was not the coach. First of all, old players with high salaries but useless should leave this team. We've all seen how unsuccessful they can be with a roster that looks this good.

They shouldn’t have that Caruso go (as a Bulls fan super glad they did), that’s the exact type of player they need to build around Anthony Davis and Lebron.

Don't underestimate the Law of Attraction regarding Russell Westbrook. There will always be a team that will sign him. The candidate is Indiana Pacers. Analyzing technically, he is fit on that team. But in return, the Pacers might give up some of their role players although it's still a rumor.

We can only wait on the post-season to see some of the shocking trade events and one thing is for sure, Los Angeles Lakers will be again one of the trade headlines as it was necessary. People are always focused on trading Westbrook but not focus on a Lakers player that still got a high salary this season despite being absent the whole season. What a waste of a roster.

I think Westbrook to Wall trade could have happened before the deadline if the Lakers had agreed to include a few future draft picks in the deal. Anyway, there is still a high probability that this deal can occur during the offseason. As for Davis, his injury proneness is a really big problem for the Lakers, considering he only played 36 games last season and 40 games this season. As far as I know, there are rumors that the Lakers management might trade him too.

Nets led the game whole night. Kyrie played almost flawless, he didn't miss a shot until last quarter. Durant was as good as his average. Bruce Brown was an x-factor as he attempted the most field goals. That was because Cavs defend with too many double-team against Kyrie and Durant and that created him more space. As you can see from assist numbers, that strategy worked well for Nets. It was a fair result. Nets will meet with Celtics in play-offs.

Every time John Wall is mentioned one name cross my mind. Gilbert Arenas. Why? I don't know. Injuries, maybe?
2007 the MCL injury, I always thought even if healed it will not be the same Arenas anymore. But shockingly, 2010 he got good stats again 20 points per game but only played 32 games. Then there's the bringing the gun in the locker room issue.
Both players have capabilities of muscling their way in or shooting outside. I think that's where I got the comparison. But back to the issue, health plays an important factor and these players creates problems mentally when their off court for a long time.

That was an extremely efficient scoring by Kyrie and quite a balanced team contribution. I think Bowen could have (or should have) done more with his 18 points from 19 attempts. With that kind of output from Nets bench, a team with better offense like Celtics could apply the same type of defense on KD and/or Kyrie will have better chance of winning than the Cavs.

It was an expected result since Jarret Allen is not playing. now they need to survive to win against the other teams in the play-in tournament to be able to get on the number 8 spot which will gonna be the against the Miami Heat. Everyone is expecting some obvious result when it comes to the NBA playoffs where the Nets vs Celtics and the Boston Celtics will beat the Nets in this series, I don't know, but I think we will know much of the result after game 1 because as we all know playoff games are different and the veterans here are the Brooklyn Nets, not the Boston Celtics.
