The best answer for this I think is that maybe he interacted with someone who has the virus already but he doesn't know it. All of the states in US have cases already so.. probably that is how he got it

Being in contact with someone seems to be pretty impossible in Durant's case not unless it is his fellow teammate or someone close too. Durant and the other thee Brooklyn Nets players if they had not infect each other might have contracted it on the same environment may it be from an air borne strain or from plastic surfaces which they have shared each other. Kevin Durant's case might be really different compared to other sports stars who have it where some of them are asymptomatic, Durant however showed symptoms that's why they had him tested. Let's just hope that the doctors know what they are doing so that Durant can recover.

Kevin Durant is reported to be amongst four players from the Brooklyn Nets to test positive for Covid-19, according to @SpectatorIndex which happens to be a trusted news source (for me), tweeted. The source also claimed that KD's feeling great despite testing positive to the pandemic.

It's a terrible news not only for him but also for the NBA and especially his team (Given that there are four players which are now positive), For KD which out for the rest of the season and currently working to get back, now this. Hope he could recover soon as well as the other players who tested positive with this COVID-19.

Well, it became 7 players who tested positive so far. I am sure the more test results come the more we will probably see, these are people who travel everywhere around the nation touching and waving and selfie taking and picture signing people, there is no way they could have stayed too safe. Durant was travelling with the team anywhere they went most of the time unless he had other injury related thing, at least he had that "option" to travel anywhere he wants with the team when he wants to.

It means dude was sitting on the bench with some fans watching the game, if those fans had corona, he probably got it from them. But, do not forget that Durant is not the only one, three others got it as well and maybe one of them infected the other three? Durant must be in vicinity of his own freaking team mates, so it is still quite possible.

Are the entire squad underdone a test also?

I think they should also be tested to know if they are also infected, this is really a bad news, it seems like we can't stop this from spreading, so we really need the vaccine the soonest possible time to stop the spread of the virus, until now, I haven't seen any news talking about the possibility that the vaccine will be out soon, what really are the status on their research?

A couple of weeks ago we discussed that the Coronavirus would not affect us in the Crypto Market. We were already wrong the Covid19 has reached the NBA. With the 2020 season suspended, it is inevitable that the players will not become infected if they are constantly in physical contact. The measures of suspension of public activities are strict and necessary, it is estimated that the losses will be very high. In this sense, I think that scientists are working tirelessly to find the vaccine and stop the pandemic.

I won't be surprise if the season won't resume within a month. It would be better not to since there's no vaccine yet and to prevent the cases in escalating as soon as possible. Safety first before anything else.

That's the thing, they can't compromise the people around them, of course if the season will resume, there will be fans and then the virus could easily spread, and not everyone has good immune system, some are weak and we are putting their health at risk here, or could be their life.

I think any sporting event could only resume if the total eradication of the virus.

Just like in the case of Durant, he is not playing, just sitting in the bench probably just talking to his player and then later on he was infected. The good thing is that this players immune system is good, that's why we won't see any worst case scenario for them.

The season was stop due to the virus but upon submitting my vote, I saw that there are many who are in favor to Lakers. It is the favorite team to win this season but I am not so sure whether the season will be successful this year as we are facing an outbreak and the cure is not yet available.

In the current happenings where the NBA players got infected with the virus especially Durant who has the potential as a player and other players out there. It will be good if the virus will be cured so the season can still continue as I don't  have the information yet whether they will resume the game even if the virus is still there.

Pretty depressing hearing from Adam Silver today that he has no idea when they might start up again, if they do.  Some "insiders are now predicting early to late June.  A lot longer than I had certainly hoped for.  Side not, Adam Silver is an awesome Commissioner.  He makes others in his role look pretty awful ( MLB, NFL etc ).

Everybody is affected by this crisis globally. Yes, it's sad to hear that because it's business and he loves the association but that's it. Everyone can do nothing against it.

There are several news released that it may take a year to fully develop the vaccine which is hopefully not true since we need the vaccine urgently, the virus is spreading fast world wide and this could affect the global audience and we should keep our faith up pray for better minds to find a cure so that we will see those games coming back and life will became normal again.

Wow. Why not? They should be. That is coming from a Mayor?  

Physical games like basketball and others should also be one of the priorities. They are the ones who could pass it first hand. And they actually did without knowing they already have the virus.
Now, it is spreading more and they will have to track down where this players go before they were tested.
Some unwise comment coming from a political person.
Many will argue with this.

How could Adam Silver give any date right now, he has as much idea about this as we have and maybe corona will be gone in a year, maybe we will have to live like this for a long time, maybe leagues not only won't return this year but also can't start next year? Who knows if any of this will happen.

I see people who mock corona and underestimate it and say that by this summer it will be over and I am still in shock, I was one of the people who said this is nothing and won't be a big deal and now I see how wrong I am, to say that it is impossible for corona to continue like this for months is taking it lightly, I am not saying it will but I am saying it has a chance for it, that is why I think we all should be really careful but also do not pressure NBA to come back neither.
