Maybe they will able to accommodate 1k or so people with keeping social distance. And I think it's okay, considering that every arena has around 19-20k seats.

For a 20,000 max capacity for audience area, I think 1,000 is too small if we would only consider the social distancing. These people are still required to wear mask or even face shield, so it's still safe, I guess maybe 30% of the max capacity is already reasonable and that would translate into a figure of 6000 people.

Those are considerable numbers yet if the max is 20k then 6k people will really able to attain that proper social distancing and of course they should always follow those strict

health protocols to prevent another problem.Hopefully this decisions would push through because it is entirely different when you do saw that theres a crowd beside on a actual basketball game

not just only seeing those LCD screens on having some faces but I wont be surprised if we would stick into that once again.

They would want this, but this is actually so expensive for them since they have to test the fans going in the arena, less capacity and other related expenses, I think the ticket would be too costly as well.

Yeah its one of the problem because testing kits and other supplies would really be needed on checking out those people who do tend to enter the stadium or arena.

Aside from time consuming then as mentioned where tickets would neither be doubled or triple the price to compensate the average earning/income of the standard seating capacity.

I don't t think they are not happy with this because NBA is the reason why they can manage to feed their family. The only problem here is there are not enough trainings and practices because they are the last one who playd on finals. Even if they reached the finals last season, they also need to make sure that they have enough practice or else the come out of winner will be changed easily. Their another big disadvantage is they don't have enough rest  and we all know that even if you are very skillful, if you have not enough rest the skill you got will be worthless

GSW is one of the teams I'm looking up to surprise the ranking this coming season.

I think the point is can Orlando accommodate all the teams right now? Or do the NBA needs a second arena close to that the players can travel in and out without sacrificing the safety protocol. This is very important for the NBA management to solve and find the solution prior to the opening.

Players will always be in shape, even Lakers are now, but perhaps they just want to have a longer rest, that's it.

What if Rockets would also want him out, if Rockets will keep Harden, it's not still wise to keep westbrook when they already witness how the two play together and it was not good, they can trade Westbrook with more role players, acquire a good big man as that is what they are lacking in the last playoffs.

That's not the point and don't compare normal people's work to NBA players that played in the NBA finals.

These players I'm talking about aren't bitching or complaining. The majority of the NBA players who didn't play in the bubble or got exit early are now fully in shape because most of them didn't play for years now. They are ready anytime to play. Next season will be more competitive because some superstars will now get back in action and these teams that recently played in the Finals are just starting their vacation. And on that vacation, practice is out of their schedule. For example, some Miami Heat's main players suffered injuries in the Finals and need more time to rest. Lakers, on the other hand, especially those in the main lineup, are putting more minutes per game compared to their average.

These players aren't asking aggressively in the NBA. They want to come back of course. But shouldn't be a problem if from Dec. 22 they hope it will be shift in January. The reason the NBA was considered to start the season is because of the annual Christmas Special. Since no choice, LAL and HEAT will play as that was the decision.

Yup, no problem with that. Skipping probably 1-3 games that wouldn't be a problem in my perspective. But it depends how their management will fix things.

They have struggled a lot since they let go of Capella, he was a legit Center of the Rockets and without big, they were abuse by the Lakers who are playing with big players on the floor, I wish they will realize that mistake too, not only changing the plays but adding a legit center as well.

Why did he moved to Rockets and wanted to play with Harden if he wants out so quickly, what was he expecting when he got there? He was a good player for a great team at OKC when Durant was there, he was a leader of a bad team when Durant left, and now he was a good player in a good team so he was in best of the worlds both being superstar of a team that could make it to finals if they are lucky with seeding.

I don't know what type of situation he could get at this stage of his career, he is a good player, all-star level but he won't be traded to a team that will fight for a title, he has a huge amount of contract and in order to eat that much salary a team has to trade another star, and not many teams would be willing to give their stars for westbrook right now.

It's still different when you have a big man on the team.
I was really amazed at how Harden could make good plays with pick and roll feeding Capella.
It was a bad deal trading him.

There's nothing he can do if he wants to be out of Rockets.

Players and managements always settled things out once there's already a gap between them, if he wanted to move and be traded the management have other options in doing it.

He can be traded or he'll if there's none valuable offer for him, for now he needs to work and help the team as he's been pid in doing so.

The management needs to wait for whoever teams who like to have him and can provide enticing
or acceptable offer to bring him out from his current holder.
