Cavs had a good second half and kept the Buck only at 42 points. But also I would like to point out the second quarter. Kevin Love and Cedi Osman didn't start in first 5 but they got in at the 2nd quarter and they were the big factors in the 39-22 second quarter run. And then Cavs kept the defence strong and Bucks couldn't catch up with them. Their getting the Rondo from Lakers move is proving to be quite beneficial, even though he is not playing so many minutes. Nevertheless, his contribution was well enough to get them ahead. I wonder if they can show enough performance to go far on the playoffs.

Cleveland Cavaliers are really having an amazing season now. We see them at the third place in the Eastern Conference and they have only one less number of wins than the leader, Miami Heat. Last night, they defeated one of the most powerful teams of the season which are Bucks by 115-99. Cavs are playing really well as a team but Love and Osman were really impressive. They were the top scorers of their teams and had a big role in this victory.

I honestly don't expect them to beat the defending champ but look what happen, they seem like they are the champion and they spoil Giannis' return. next time, I will not gonna bet against them, they are hot right now and they have a chance to be at the top, i see how hungry they are.

I think it was really Kevin Love who glue the team together this season. I mean there are talks that he wants to be traded at the beginning, but it didn't push through. Luckily for him and the Cavs, he did stay and then they become a stronger team. Definitely they are going to the playoffs this year and then could pull surprises or at least push other teams to even 7 games and win the series against top teams.

They are very willing to win each one of their games indeed. It looks like they can end the regular season at one of the top three places as long as they keep this up. However, it is still unknown what they would be able to do in the playoffs. That is the most important part of an NBA season. If Cavaliers maintain their hunger like this, then they would reach a serious level in the playoffs. I don't think that they can rise to the NBA finals but they might see the conference semi-finals or finals.

I didn't notice a three-way trade that happened on January 19 and just recently found out about it so I had to check if someone did. Thankfully, there is one. A brand new transfer is done. Juancho Hernangomez + 2 round pick of Denver goes to Spurs, Bol Bol and PJ Dozier goes to Celtics, Bryn Forbes goes to Denver with this trade. I feel like Denver is the only one that got a decent player out of this, nobody else really got anything. Spurs did not really care about what they got in return, all they cared about is emptying a space so that Primo would get a lot more minutes, with Forbes there it would be silly to give Primo minutes when you have Forbes, but with him gone then it will look a lot better to give him some minutes.
Celtics are just idiots, that is not a big change at all, and the only one with Forbes going to Denver, they have a great shooter at bench. He still lacked defense a lot, he is slow both laterally and any other way, but he improved his dribbling so I would guess he would be decent as a bench player.
Thanks, FanEagle. How did I find it? NBA rumors: Celtics active in trade talks, but not expected to field offers for Robert WilliamsBoth Bol Bol and Dozier are heavily injured so yes, it doesn't add up. Are the Celtics giving up the playoffs this year? They bumped their head now and got back to reality as Robert Williams will be untouchable for trade offers. That's good. But they said they are open for trades so who will they offer now? Schroder maybe?

Are the Celtics giving up the playoffs this year?
Not sure with the Celtics now but hopefully they'll stil make it to the playoffs. At 25-24 record, that is still doable. https://www.espn.ph/nba/tableThey bumped their head now and got back to reality as Robert Williams will be untouchable for trade offers. That's good. But they said they are open for trades so who will they offer now? Schroder maybe?
Do you mean Schroder will be traded? He is not making a good salary, so for whom? Or did you mean Schroder will get a bigger contract?

Or did you mean Schroder will get a bigger contract?
Right now, Schroder is still under contract with the Celtics, so only after the contract will end where we will find out if there's an extension or not. According to the report, he signed a one year deal with the Celtics and I'm sure he is expecting a bigger contract once the Celtics will renew him. Dennis Schröder has agreed to a one-year deal worth $5.9 million to join the Celtics, ; https://www.si.com/nba/2021/08/10/dennis-schroder-contract-celtics-one-year-deal

I agree, it's weird that they are going to offer Robert Williams as I think he could be the future of Celtics at the center position. We don't know what the Celtics are thinking but maybe they think they have the bargaining power in any trades and could include Dennis and maybe someone that we think that is untouchable will be dealt a trade?

They had a big margin of 16 points in their win against the Bucks as Kevin Love topped their scoreboard with 25points. I think they won the game in the 2nd quarter as they scored 39 points compared to the 22 scored by the Bucks. Great going from the Cavs I have to say.,

I mean they won't be facing the top seed for sure and maybe just the 4 to 8 seed. So most likely they will have a good chance to win their series against anyone seeded lower than themselves. Of course experience is needed in playoffs, but maybe Kevin can really lend his wisdom to his young guys on how to play the playoffs and overcome the gitters and not be rattled.

Another win by the Chicago Bulls but yet another win that was a very close call. I’m not sure what’s going on with the Bulls but they seem to keep blowing huge leads in the 4th quarter. It’s kind of an odd deal and I’m glad they’ve been making these come backs but they can’t keep this up for forever.

Close but enough to cover the spread, DeRozan and Lavine with another spectacular game. As long as both are playing together the bulls are hard to beat although from a dominant game or a come from behind win. They are healthy again but they'll improve more if Caruso and Ball will come back soon.

^^ Cavaliers could be one of the underrated team I guess. I remember that they somewhat goes up to 3rd to 4th place in the East and then Rubio got injured and so they've experience consecutive losses. And then they decided to get Rondo from the Lakers in replacement of Rubio and it works for them. The Bucks though seems to have a problem this month as they have been struggling to put up a great string of wins and even now on a losing skid.
They are an underrated team, but look what they are achieving right now. Beating the defending champ with almost a full cast squad, it's only Lopez that isn't there aside from PJ Tucker who already being traded to the heat. I see good performances from the whole Cavs squad. They are sharing and rotating as a team, very important trusting each other and building a strong connection that will bind the chemistry of each player inside.. I think at this moment, they have a really good depth of their squad and this makes the rotations easier for the coach and as a result, everyone can stay afresh. 6 players hit the double-digit marker last game and Kevin Love was amazing to watch. He was well supported by his fellow teammate Cedi Osman who scored 23 points 4 assists and 3 rebounds. I think they are really getting to know each other and their chemistry is also increasing. ^^ Cavaliers could be one of the underrated team I guess. It's a 4th road loss so it's not that bad yet. What's surprising is the Cavaliers gaining the 3rd spot in the East all of a sudden and they are not defeating just weak teams, they are also winning against Nets, Jazz, and now the Bucks with a full star roster playing. They don't even have Rubio and Markkanen yet and if just one of them comes back I am sure it will be a tougher team to beat. It's also the 5th home winning streak for the Cavs. I'd love to see Kevin Love consistently making this amount of points contribution to the team. 20+ points per game, he did it for the last 2 games. Cavs are on a great run and that too without a couple of their important players out of the squad. I didn't expect them to win against the Bucks who are the defending champions and if I'm not wrong they even won against the Nets in recent times. I think I'm very hopeful for them this season as they might reach newer heights this time.

Yes, it is really a very close fight, and I'm thinking that maybe the Bulls will lost the game. Fortunately, they come big and clutch on the 4th. Not sure what the odds are, but it seems they have at least cover the spread or handicap. As for the Cavs winning big against the Bucks, well it seems that it's more of the Bucks really struggling in that game. But kudos to Cavs, they deserve everything even without Rubio, they still manage to remain as one of the top teams in the East.

Great going from the Cavs I have to say., I can still remember the time where Kevin Love wants to be traded into another team after consecutive fails of the Cavaliers but right now with how they are playing, it seems that he loves what is happening even though he is not at the starting 5 of the team anymore. With regards to inexperienced Cavaliers team, just see the Phoenix Suns last season. Most of them didn't experience even the playoffs or at least the NBA Finals even Chris Paul himself but he and the whole team went to NBA Finals for the first time. Most of them don't have experience in playoffs but they went until the Finals. I'm not saying that the Cavaliers will reach that too but I think basing the probability of the team winning in playoffs base on their experience is kinda irrelevant for me and not applicable. Another one is they have Love and Rondo which has experience already in playoffs so lets just wait on how they will perform on the playoffs. This is more exciting because we see different teams entering the playoffs like the Cavaliers and the Bulls.

Phoenix Suns showing how it's all done to win a game. I loved it. 8th winning streak even without DeAndre Ayton, JaVale McGee, Cameron Payne and the newly injured Jae Crowder. You can say they are short handed with players but yet CP3 and Booker are doing well in controlling the pace of the game. That 4th quarter is something to watch carefully on how CP3 controlled the game with his clutch shots and being a master of mid range shooting when it's becoming a close game. You cannot even see a smirch of panic on him. Veteran. This is why the Suns are in a good place now, just one great veteran could change it all.

As you said, Phoenix Suns were lacking many players but they still managed to have a winning streak with this lineup. But we shouldn't forget that two of these wins were against Utah Jazz which were lacking more players. We come across really weird results due to the effect of covid-19. CP3 is really fired up as for his clutch times and he manages to carry his team to a victory.
