Curry - Thompson duo was great last night and it was promising for the coming games too. I really missed to watch these two players playing at the same time. Thompson is getting better by every game and it is nice to see. He is one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA now and he is a very important player for Warriors. In the absence of him, Curry had to carry the team but thankfully he did a great job. Because he is just an insane player. But this wouldn't have gone like this all the time in the playoffs too.

For Eastern Conference, what's the rule of changing Captain? Kevin Durant is out and won't play right? So automatically it will be Giannis or the second most voted player on the Eastern Conference?

What a great achievement for Ja Morant, already an All-Star starter for just a few seasons playing. He really changed and improved this season like an already experienced player in the league. Same for Trae Young too.

On the other hand, in absence of the ECF Captain KD, Giannis was the 2nd most voted player, but we will see these days of indeed Giannis will replace KD as captain

Ja Morant have just played 3 seasons in his professional career since he was drafted way back 2019 and with just a year he's been awarded as the Rookie of the Year in 2020, this kid really got a potential to be a starplayer.

If only Jordan Poole made the dunk against the T'Wolves then it will be a double highlight of the week.
Gary Payton II strong rebound against a bigger man and the pass to Poole who missed the dunk. He jumped a bit early and there was a defender blocking his flight forward.
How I miss my younger years when I could do the same as Gary Payton II to make it look like a strong rebound by doing a small trick of a loud sound touching the ball in my palm. (yes, I'm a weak player that's why I need tricks)   It's just live TV but you can hear the sound of it.

Klay Thompson is in fact showing some really nice improvement since he returned this season, there maybe some setbacks and adjustments but that didn't last long and now they're slowly coming back dominating almost every team they've faced and will face. They are on their 4th win streak now and crawling to have the #1 spot on the Western Conference again. We'll see on Sunday in their face off against the Nets if they'll will be that consistent.

^ Great to see the Splash Bros back on form. I was a bit worried as GSW were not performing up to the mark after Klay's return but seems like that phase is over and GSW looks solid right now.

We all know what Klay and Curry could do from the 3 pointer line and maybe we're having the privilege to see that again. Klay had to take some time to adjust to the environment after his long break from the game but seems like he has adjusted well and they are playing so well right now.

LaVine might still play on the All Star game this season, the reserves isn't announced yet. But well see if LaVine could eventually be the replacement for Kevin Durant and be in the first five line-up. There's no rumor yet so I guess we'll just wait for the updates for that. In the same note, I'm with you, I also want him to be included in the starting line-up.

Other than that, I'm still amazed that Andrew Wiggins is a part of the starting line-up in the West, infact he was voted 3rd by the NBA fans.

Lebron is doing something totally wild, Wiggins deal is funny and even he probably realizes it, but that is really not that important considering he would be benched fairly quickly compared to others and not get as many minutes. Plus, it is going to be like picking your teammates and all, so he would be probably left at the bottom and then not be seen as a true starter. Klay got a ton of votes as well even though e was out most of the season.

People outside of USA (and some inside USA of course) LOVE warriors, no idea why aside from them being good. Hopefully we will see a proper style, the last few years with the weird system never felt good and I did not enjoy it much. I miss the old days where everyone wore their own jerseys and played 12 minute 4 quarters.

Shows how watered down the west is no with Wiggins starting the AS game.  Just a couple years ago he wouldn't even get consideration as a sub.  There has to be someone better to play in his slot no?  Just based on that, I'm saying the East is taking this year for sure.

I see a really nice game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Clippers are having a so unlucky season that they don't have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard due to long-lasting injuries. But they are still holding onto the playoff zone as strong as possible now. And Heat are just amazing now. They are the leader of their conference now. They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

Covering the spread is not a problem for the Heat as long as Butler is going to play and the rest of the starters. There's a reason why they are heavily favored, -7 is just not hard for them to cover against an undermanned team, against NY in their last game, they won by double digit, so probably we will see the same story here.

Well this is what happens when you let the fans vote.  I am totally against this in all sports, not just the NBA.  When fans vote they almost always get it wrong.  Now they did a decent job for the starters, but there are a few players who I felt got snubbed ( In my opinion I think Zach Lavine should be starting over Trae Young).  I am with you on the jersey's too.  I thought it was cool when players just wore their own uninforms.  Would be cool if they just had some sort of all star patch on their unis.  I think this changed to wearing all star specific jerseys just so they can sell more of then in the NBA shops.

I agree lavine should be starting over Trae especially because he put his team on top of the eastern conference standings when they were thought of as a middle of the road team.  Whereas atlantic has been wildly underperforming.  If I had to choose I'd take Zach over Trae to start a team anyway.

I like both teams as they do not rely on their star players to carry them. Clippers have done well in their last two games with comeback wins but that could take a toll on them. The Heat plays hard too even if many of their players are out.

I also think Miami has the upper hand in this game.

I'm guessing Philly wouldn't accept any deal that didn't include Fox and the Kings weren't willing to part with him for Simmons.  A shame, because I think Simmons on the Kings would have been a good fit for everyone.  This definitely hurts the Sixers as Simmons' trade value is now even lower without their prime suitor.  Now I just hope we see some sort of massive trade involving multiple teams.  Maybe Houston/Lakers/Sixers or some combo with Portland.  Ben Simmons definitely isn't helping his career or reputation with this dragging on so long.

Tonight there is a Hornets - Lakers game. This could be a really difficult game for Lakers as Lebron has had an injury and Davis also might not play in this one. Davis had a great performance against 76ers in their last game and tried to take a big responsibility by 31 points and 12 rebounds. They lost but this was still a significant performance from him. If he also doesn't play, then I don't know what they will do in this game. Hornets are having a good season and they can really benefit from this situation.
