Boston are really like a nightmare for Heat now. They beat Heat before in this season in an away game. And last night, they won another victory by 122-92. This victory was even bigger than the previous one. Heat's performances in the first and the third quarters were really poor and they gave up on the game quite early. This is good for Boston to consolidate their place in the playoff zone. They don't have a bad starting five now actually and I believe they deserve to qualify for the playoffs.

What a game! 76ers beat the Memphis Grizzlies in OT successfully without Embiid and stopped Ja Morant from doing his thing and I think it was the best defensive play I've ever seen in the NBA. Though he managed to pass the ball to his teammate, the shot was not successful forced a turned over and the 76ers closed the game with 3 points lead and +2 points in a buzzer-beater.

Tyrese Maxey played amazing!
It was a good match to watch for everyone. Sorry for the Grizzlies fans, it must be sad to lose the game after such a good game. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane had a combined total of over 70 points. But it wasn't enough to win.
We couldn't watch Joel Embiid in this game, but we didn't need it Cheesy Philadelphia took the court with an incredible performance. Thanks to Drummund, Maxey and Harris we watched a very good game

Good win for the Sixers, they proved that they don't need to rely on Embiid all the time as they can still win against a top team like Memphis. Morant was again so spectacular in the game but the sixers played better as a team so they deserve this win, I'm sure Embiid are happy with the result.

We have the Phoenix Suns vs the Nets tomorrow.

Durant is out, Harden is questionable, but if he will play, he and Irving will tandem and they will give the Suns a good competition.
As per the betting lines, Suns are the heavy favorite to win, but I think nets would be able to give a great game here as long as Harden will play.

I think that the Sixers already find a good point guard that will be a perfect for the team Smiley.

Just develop Maxey and trade Simmons. They don't need him. They need a PG that will be a good addition to the team and that is Maxey. That last play really is the game changer. That defensive play really saved the 76ers. Well for the Grizzlies fans out there, your team is playing well and most likely will enter the playoffs with at least in the top 4 (maybe). For Drummond, TBH I thought that he isn't a good fit for the team for some reasons but now I think that he has a contribution in every game and he is given more minutes than usual now that Embiid is out in some games.

Yeah Memphis and Ja should be nice and ready coming into new york Wednesday after that crushing loss.  Thanks sixers lol.  With that being said I think I'm betting on the Grizzlies tomorrow without even knowing the spread, the Knicks coming off a win they are ripe for a loss.  Ja has been absolutely unreal this year.  Knicks ended up with rj....almost had ja Sad .

I'd be rooting on Suns here even if Harden comes to and I guess Suns will continue that winning streak of 11th game. They are 1st on FG%, 4th on 3P%, 3rd on Points Scored, and 5th on Total Rebounds, those are impressive stats for a team right now. Chris Paul will continue dominate the West I guess maybe a back to back POTW for him. By the way, their head coach will be the head coach of Team Lebron this coming All-Star and that's why they are the heavy favorite for this upcoming game with Nets.

Watching Ja Morant is like watching D. Rose during his prime. He can finish and attack the basket so flawlessly that any defender would be left on skates whenever he's on the court. He can also drive and finish like any other player since he is so acrobatic and flexible on the court. Though he missed a game winning free throw shot, if he could develop his jumper and free throw shooting, he will definitely be a threat or even a candidate for the next MVP. He just makes everyone around him so consistent and efficient in the court.

Great comparison, I also see that Ja is really improving and the way he attacks has a high percentage. Same with DRose before.

that major injury, he really entertains the fans on his, giving them a satisfaction that they wanted to see each game they watch

DRose, with Ja's young age, he's one of those stars that will continue to bring the fun and enjoyment for the fans. Memphis is really

doing great, giving him the support cast that blends well with how he towers the team.

I agree. The only thing that he is lacking is shooting. But, we do see him attempt 3 point shots and some of them are going in. What I don't see with him is the high flying mid range jumper. If it ain't a lay up it would be a tear drop. That's it. I don't even know his form when shooting. Thumbs up for him for trying to be stretchable and practicing his shots, he needs it for he will be more effective in driving it to the basket if he can do a hesitation move.
There will be more ankle breakers once he mastered it.

the entire performances of the team, it was a win for Celtics and nothing to argue about that, a win still a win, coming to the next round
would be the big challenge for any team.

It would be the real competition. Each team will be full forced everyone have that same desire in winning the title. We never
know which team will be going to advance to the finals..

Good matchup tonight between the Suns and Nets.  Durant is out and Harden is questionable, but since the game is in Arizona and not some liberal draconian state, Kyrie Irving will be allowed to play.  With the Suns still not having Ayton in the lineup, that even things out a little, but I'd still say the Suns have the advantage here.  If Harden can't play, the Suns should be able to get a W here.  Even with Harden, the Suns have the much better record and would likely be the favorites at home.

This game will be televised tonight on TNT at 10:00 PM ET.  A great way to kick off February.  Smiley

Now with regards to the Rockets, its all close until Curry has hot hands coming into the 4th and took it over and got the win. They are still in the top 2 seeded behind the Suns who has a 10 game win streak again.
It's Kevin Porter Jr.'s fault.  Cheesy He talked too much to Steph Curry (I don't know if it's trash talk) and we all know that guy when he is being cornered, he will transform into a monster and be at his best performance.
But I saw them chatting at the end of the game, looks like it was all just a competitive spirit of the young player. He did great defending and answering all the shots thrown to them but that's Steph, I'd be proud of myself if I am the one doing the exhausting defense against him and endure it until the last minute of the game.
I remember people talking trash to Kobe or MJ and they took it way too personally. In fact "I took that personally" is basically the motto for "the last dance" documentary as well. These dudes who are at the top of their game do not like to be trash talked, they have the talent to be amazing and sometimes they lack what they normally do and everyone could have a bad game, but that doesn't mean that you could trash talk them and expect them to just back down.

Curry is one of those players, dude has such a big talent and he is the greatest shooter of all time that he leads the three pointers all by himself right now and he is still young, imagine how high he will be when he retires. So to trash talk him obviously had consequences for Porter Jr. and he got that in return Cheesy If that was all it took for him to get better, I hope everyone starts to trash talk Curry.

That would not happen if Butler and Lowry played, but they were out of the game, so the Boston Celtics took advantage to that. What matters is the Heat are still on the number 1 spot, and they can always bounce back once they will be complete as they are a strong team.

Celtics beat an undermanned team, I don't count that.
Exactly. Heat was so obviously undermanned that they didn't even seem like a proper team in the NBA. What I mean is every team can have their best players injured but Heat got affected so much from the key player injuries that we can see in the first and third quarters that Boston just killed them. And also Heat shot 39% (34 of 87) for the game, amazingly low. Except Strus, noone could score. I like Herro a lot as a player but he was shooting terribly for this game. But I also think they will bounce back of course. After the Toronto game, this loss can be considered kinda expected, especially with Butler missing.

I think that the biggest game tonight is Phoenix Suns vs Brooklyn Nets. Recently, Nets have been having a really bad time. They lost four games in a row lately and this caused them to drop down to the sixth position in the standings now. Kevin Durant is still absent due to a long-term injury. And Harden is also having an injury now but we might see him play in this game. As Irving is able to play only in away games too, Nets have been in a stressful condition. This is a must-win game for them to start to pull themselves together. However the opponent is very tough. Suns are the leader of their conference and they are on a winning streak of ten games. When we take this into account, I think that Nets won't be able to win and they will get another loss here.

They might be able to continue their winning streak but I doubt they'll be able to beat the Nets by more than 7 points. I'm talking about the betting odds as I will not only watch this game, I will also put a bet on it. Nets are in a 4 losing streak, so Suns are playing a desperate team here.
Yeah that's likely to happen as a close game but if Harden wouldn't play I think that it will be easy for the Suns to beat it with just Kyrie on the court. That's a bad thing for the Nets stats but being desperate is just a few factor and if there ace players wouldn't play I don't think they can win this game tbh.

As for the Suns - Nets game, I think that this will definitely be an attention getting one. But it is not making me happy to see that Durant is still injured and Harden also might not play. They at least have Irving as this is an away game thankfully for them but still they would have a big difficulty in this game to win. Suns are on an unbelievable run now and it wouldn't be surprising to see them winning this game too. It was a close call for them in the past season that they lost the chance of becoming the champions. This time, they really want this championship and we will see if they will get it.

The Spurs are playing against the GSW right now, and I was surprised to see that all the Warriors' key players are out due to various injuries. As a result, the Spurs have a good chance of breaking the Warriors' winning streak, especially since they lead by 8 points after the first half of this game.
