Finally, the Phoenix Suns win streak was broken. Atlanta Hawks did it in a great performance by Trae Young. He is in a good rhythm today as he scored 43 points 6/11 downtown and one of them put the dagger to close the game and broke the heart of the Suns' fans out there.
I think the Hawks are back and Trae said in the interview they will try to get back and be on top 6 to avoid the play-in tournament. They better work their ass every game if they want to, as they are still at 10th seed and may need a long win streak to achieve it.

Technically, the Lakers should handle the handicapped Clippers but as we know, they are sometimes at their worst and even low-tier teams are defeating them with their good players are on-board.

Bookies also tagged the Clippers as the Favorite to win the game at @1.64 despite them being handicapped.

If you are eyeing for the Lakers to win, the winning odds of @2.33 for them are good and you can put a shot on it.

On the one hand, the Lakers have a good chance to win because Davis should dominate this match. On the other hand, it's risky to bet on their victory because they perform very unpredictably this season. By the way, it's funny that the Clippers without George and Leonard play better than the Lakers without James.

That seems to be a good take so far. Down 10 points with 10 minutes to go and it’s looking like the Lakers might drop another one that they should have won. Davis is having a monster game so far and Westbrook is again struggling. They seem like they have the momentum at the moment though. With Dwight coming in the game I feel like they’re about to make a final push to see if they can get back in the game.

What a game! by the Lakers and the Clippers, exchanging leads in the last minutes of the 4th quarter, and finally the Clippers snatch the win by one point with Davis's unsuccessful shot in the buzzer-beater. That's a dramatic loss for the Lakers but that's just how the good game should be. They really gave me a thrilled and exciting game tonight.

The kind of leadership the Hawks need, they still far from that said position but still doable.

Hawks needs to work it up if they wanted to avoid play-in tournament, beating the top seeder would give them a confidence
to work back with the type of game they are familiar with.

Congrats to all who bet for them. It's a tough one even with the handicap knowing that Suns are very explosive and
can dominate, but that home court crowd and old blend chemistry shows up and takes this one from the Suns.

After the Lakers beat the Rip City, now they will be facing the LA Clippers who do not have their 2 superstars.

What do you think about this game? LA Lakers is on a back to back game while the LA Clippers are still doing an impressive basketball despite not having their superstars, will the Lakers beat the Clippers, or the other way around?

Before the game started, I thought that the LA Lakers won't be having a hard time defeating the Clippers because they have AD and other superstars while the Clippers they don't have their star players. What happened is the exact opposite, Lakers was having a hard time on the defense and chasing the scores. WB was still terrible in the game, and from the 1st to 3rd quarter, the Clippers are always on the lead. Gladly, Lakers managed to bounce back on the 4th but barely, Lakers lost with just a 1 point shy.

Its almost a comeback for the Lakers because they are down double digits coming into the 4th quarter but the supposed comeback by them has been spoiled by the game winning shot of Reggie Jackson Cheesy.

Like in their last game against the Blazers, Westbrook is again having an awful night with only 17 points with 7/18 shooting and as an all-star this kind of shooting is not good. What's worse is the Clippers don't even have any of their 2 all star whereas the Lakers only don't have Lebron. Good thing that somebody stepped up with the Clippers. Ibaka, Morris and Jackson combined for 74 points. Now the Lakers lose 4 of their last 5 games and currently in the 9th position and Lebron might be sitting for a longer amount of time because of his injury. Well, I just hope that AD will not get injured again or the Lakers' slim chance of entering the playoffs will go down drastically.

Exactly! That's the reason why basketball is played by 5 players per team, it's really hard for them to win every game when the other players are very reliant and doesn't contribute well.

I was about to say the same thing mate that the Nets does have a similar situation with the Lakers now Grin Frankly, they should really work things out and figure what they lack if they want to play atleast in the playoffs. They won't go far if they continue these kinds of play.

Nets have the numbers who can really step up and help, but like Lakers chemistry is also something with the Nets.

Coach needs to blend them well now while KD is out, Harden and Kyrie, with Griffin Mills and Aldridge good enough to my
opinion.

Else, they will be ending this season much earlier. The teams from the east are improving. They have to work and find the
best solutions and start winning games again..

It's also the same case about the Lakers too, they have the numbers who can really step up but the problem is, both teams aren't consistent anymore and rely heavily on their superstars and they should also work on the rhythm. While LeBron James is still resting, the Lakers still have AD, Monk, WB, Carmelo and Howard left who can play if they're really under pressure but as I said, they're inconsistent.

In Westbrook's case, I'm afraid he's having the same situation like Ben Simmons who don't know how to shoot anymore.

17 points was the highest lead by the Clippers and Lakers managed to cut that and even got close to winning the game. Lakers did great despite all the critics bombarding them with different bad opinions.
Something good always happens whenever they keep on attacking the paint. Clippers was confused whenever Westbrook attacks and it loosens the defense on all the outside shooters, that's when they should use the 3 point shot but WB should be good at decision making when his doing the penetration. I hope they realized that by now. They can win games, use the skills where they are good at which is being close to the rim.

It was a really good game to watch and Lakers did great in the 4th quarter but the game ended in a spectacular way with Clippers victory. I respect Clippers a lot too. They had a solid performance even though Lakers had a great last quarter and almost won.

Anthony Davis, Lebron and Lakers were argued a lot in this topic but I want to point out about his last shot and what happened afterwards.
"Davis was visibly frustrated afterward and said he watched the shot seven times before going to the interview room.

''The ball touched every part of the rim. You can't ask for a better look,'' said Davis, who had at least 30 points and 15 rebounds in back-to-back games for the seventh time in his career. ''The ball was in, then out. Tough, tough play.''"

What a player. I really admire his ambition. I have my doubts about Lakers but if AD and Lebron will be healthy, things still can get much better for them and even a success at the playoffs can be possible.

That last shot of Davis almost sink in, but the luck is not on their side, both teams played a scrappy defense, and in the end, it was Reggie Jackson who came out as a hero because he didn't panic and I can tell that the guy is really clutch.

Almost, but they would not be in that situation if they played the right defense. I know the Clippers were leading and they just have a good run in the 4th quarter, but they should make sure they complete the comeback, not like the result that they regretted in the end. It was Davis who really lead the team, it's just that althoug his effort was outstanding but not enouhg for the team to win.

That last minute of the 4th quarter really made the game so intense, but yes you're right @Kelvinid, they could have won the game but their defense were not strong and tight enough to repel Jackson's lay-up and AD was too far to block it. In that critical moment, Vogel should've let Howard play in the last minute.

Was an annoying game last night when the bulls had an OT loss to the Raptors.  I know the Raptors are a decent team but the Bulls are a much better team ( in my opinion ) and so I just feel like this was a win they let get away.  It was good seeing that Zach Lavine played as as he's dealing with some back issues, and maybe that's why he didn't shoot as much as he normally does. Anyways, still sitting atop the east so I can't be too upset.

We have Brooklyn Nets vs Utah Jazz tomorrow.

Nets are currently on a 6 losing streak, while the Jazz beat the Denver Nuggets and they'll be playing a back to back game.
Question is, will the Nets be able to win against a strong Jazz team and stop their losing streak?

I like to read your opinion about the game, looks like the desperation of the Nets are not enough to win.

As far as I can see, there is a really interesting game tonight between Utah Jazz and Brooklyn Nets. Both of the teams have had a really serious problem recently. Utah Jazz were doing quite well but they started a losing streak suddenly. They lost five times in a row until winning against Denver Nuggest last finally. And Nets' losing streak is still going on and it is six games now. They are also searching for a way out now and I think that they will be the winner this time. Maybe it is another tough game for them but they have no choice other than this to hinder the problem from growing more.

I reckon the Lakers will make the playoffs but there is too much talent at the moment in the league and I don't think that the Lakers have the pieces. On a lighter note AD is looking tremendous.
Getting double doubles and scoring 30 is looking in great shape but still fragile.

The LA Clippers - LA Lakers game last night was really amazing. We watched a great competition between these teams. Lakers' last quarter performance was really spectacular but they still lost by only one point (111-110). Lebron wasn't able to play in this game again but Davis - Monk - Westbrook trio still did really well. But unfortunately it was not enough for a victory. I really enjoyed the game and I appreciated Clippers' performance too. They are still playing really nice despite lacking P. George and K. Leonard.
I thought that the Lakers are going to snatch this one, I want them to win because they are the underdog in this game. And it was a dog fight in the 4th quarter and no one want's to give an edge, unfortunately, Davis attempt was a miss as this could win it for them. Hopefully when everyone is healthy specially Lebron James, then can go back and win games again and avoid the elimination games for the playoff spot.

Anthony Davis doesn't have much of a choice but to carry and led the team while LeBron isn't available yet and that explains why he's playing aggressively in their recent games, I just hope that he won't hurt himself as he's still fresh from his injury. I also think it's really time to give Howard more minutes like the ones in the bubble as he's also very effective in the defense. Westbrook's not contributing well, it's like he's always having a bad night and it's really unhealthy for the Lakers.
I also vote that Vogel needs to go.

Another sad outcome from that match and I don't know what happens to the lakers as they will lose after loss but in behalf of this struggles I assure that they will going be okay as soon as possible to take back the crowd. If they will complete in the court for many many plays has been change and they will win in future and I do hope that lakers will be okay.
