Also thinking the same way. Seth Curry now used to work on Joel Embiid and even the former is sometimes not consistent, he's a good front runner on the team. With Harden's trade, the usual gameplay of Sixers will now be changed because it's very clear that his specialty was always an "ISOLATION" play where he will be the main scorer.
But let's not think on advance. We should see the result of that trade and what they will bring on their respective teans within only a few games played.
Another adjustment for Harden, after playing with two high-scorer stars now he will be playing with another one which we all know is the main scorer of Sixers, maybe for the sake of chasing a title he may step down and act to whatever role the coaching staff will assign him, feel so bad with Seth as I see him improving, playing along with all the sixers squad much better compared with him Playing with the Blazers. Hope to see him doing well with Simmons and the rest of the Nets with the remaining games this season..

Most people thinks the Nets won the trade, well I guess I don't have any justifications for that yet but same as you I don't think the Nets won it. If James Harden will become a good fit in the Sixers system, that would be the pain in the a** not only for Durant and the Nets team but also for the laughing Giannis as you said lol. Not to mention how well Embiid is playing at a high level this year, I'm not sure but I think the Sixer could form a big 3 for Embiid, Harden, and Harris.
Both teams won the trade. First, Simmons wants to get out badly on his former team, therefore any form of trades involving him will be an advantage for the Philadelphia 76ers as no reason to keep this player on the lineup. The Nets also won the trade as Simmons is surely fired up to play again. Simmons is also not a selfish type of player and he will be fit for whatever Steve Nash assigns him to do. Let's see how these teams will now performed with their new trade deal. Philly lost the trade on this one. Seth spread the floor for embid to do his business now who is anyone fearing on the outside? Harden does his work driving they are going to jam the paint. And then 2 future picks while it seems they would be late picks. They honestly have no draft capital for future trades. They need to win this year or next or this is disastrous. Yeah exactly, and they've got an extremely overrated coach in Doc Rivers. It's unclear to me what exactly they've got going for them if they don't win the championship this year - sure they have Embiid playing at an MVP level, but that alone is nowhere near enough to get them to the promised land. They now have no draft picks in the first round for ages and no assets to trade other than Embiid.

Seth Curry is doing well this season. I would even say he is more needed by the Nets than Simmons. At least he will be able to partially compensate for the absence of Irving during home games. Regarding the 76ers, I agree that their style of play will change a lot, and it will be interesting to see how Harden and Embiid will be sharing the ball with each other.

Yeah, but Seth misses some guys if I'm not mistaken, but he is the 3rd leading scoring from the Sixers and his 3 points skills listen help a lot, as it open up and help Joel do his thing at the post. But yeah, Sixers style of play will definitely change a lot, not sure though if this is positive or negative for the team. Specially that they are doing great right now, Embid putting MVP numbers. But James Harden is still down and we will see if maybe next season or perhaps as we get closer to the playoffs maybe Harden's injury has healed that time.

Finally, a discussion far away from the Lakers. I think we filled 2 pages or more with all speculations about them. Regarding the lack of Ben Simmons shooting, the Nets could patch it up with their high offensive rate. Durant, Patty Mills, Kyrie, and more can definitely shoot the ball and that includes Seth Curry. He may work like a forward/center to be near the rim and his hooks. Coach Nash doesn't need to force the point guard position on him as long as he can play ball again. 76ers on the other hand may have to go through their floor spacing after losing one of their sharpshooter Seth Curry. Let's face it, Danny Green lost his touch, he's not that scary anymore unlike when he was at Spurs and Raptors.

There were reports that there is John Wall-Russell Westbrook trade. But Houston wanted a draft pick but the Lakers refused to give it to them. So I guess Westbrook will be a Lake for this season, but it will not end well with him and Lebron James as they are still in the 9th place in the West.

After the big trade, I wonder how James Harden is going to perform as of his first game with 76ers. Maybe we can see him in the starting five tonight against Thunder. Currently, Thunder are one of the miserable teams and I don't expect them to compete with 76ers much. If Harden gets accustomed to his new team quickly, I will be eyeing 76ers in the playoffs too. Maybe they don't seem to be a big candidate for the title but they can still achieve a good success this season.
Well, Harden himself asked for the trade so I have no doubt that James Harden will have a hard time adjusting with 76ers, I mean, Harden is smart and for sure he knows what he's doing and a yes Embiid was already there but I also do think that Harden will be a good additional asset to the team. Harden didn't play today against the OKC and he ain't either expected to show tomorrow against the Cavaliers, I think there's some formalities that he need to attend first and practice with the 76ers before playing the actual live games. Just my thought though

Just my thought though Yes mate, Harden himself asked the management directly to trade him to 76ers, I guess he already lost his interest in the Nets and to benefit himself he had to force the management to get out because we all knew that Harden is a starplayer but this dude never had championship ring. Finally, with the trade deadline fast approaching, Harden directly told Marks and Tsai that he would prefer to play for the Sixers, asking the GM and team owner on a FaceTime call to send him to Philadelphia, sources tell ESPN.
The Nets told him they would only make a deal if it was a good one for the organization, which Harden understood. While the two sides agreed at that point that Harden wouldn’t play until after Thursday’s deadline, the former MVP appeared to have already checked out on the team, according to Wojnarowski and Shelburne, who say Harden informed management he was headed to Houston on Wednesday to wait out the deadline. Source: https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2022/02/harden-directly-asked-nets-marks-tsai-for-trade-to-sixers.htmlHarden didn't play today against the OKC and he ain't either expected to show tomorrow against the Cavaliers, I think there's some formalities that he need to attend first and practice with the 76ers before playing the actual live games. Just my thought though He didn't play because both parties have agreed that Harden won't play for the time being until the trade deadline. So yes, he's expected not to play against the OKC as he had to travel from Houston where he rested until the deadline subside to Philadelphia. Hopefully he could play tomorrow and make his debut against against Cleveland Cavs.

But I also thought about that mate, Simmons was great but because of his selfish long-drama he put his team in a dangerous spot. So, that makes Seth Curry a better replacement for Harden in the Nets. Maybe, Seth will improve more along with the Nets and Harden, we know, he can adjust well and not being an alpha in the team doesn't bother him and for sure have more chance now to play in the Finals with the 76ers rather than with the Nets.

If Embiid is more on the title chase, he might learn more from Harden. Sixers will surely benefit with this trade if they will maximize Harden's talent.

Boston Celtics - Denver Nuggets game seems to be worth watching for tonight. These teams are in similar conditions lately but Celtics' recent form is much better now. They have been winning for six games. Nuggets are not complete because of not having especially Jamal Murray maybe but they are still very good now. Jokic is such a great player than he plays a big role in the victories of the team. He is playing like a point guard now and it is enjoyable to watch. But I think that Celtics will win this by a close margin.
It was a really good match. In the final period, the Boston Celtics played a little better and were able to win the game, but it was not clear who would win the game until the last minutes. Derrick White became one of the most admired players in this match. Unfortunately Nikola Jokic was not enough to win this match. He had his 15th triple-double of the season, he is really awesome player

Yes, you are right that mate, and now all users have already moved on about the LA Laker's problems on why is this happen that they lose after loss. Anyways let's stop talking about that. Nets has a good team and good offensive their shooting is the best like you said they have durant who plays inner and outside the rim he can points in any dimensions and they have kyrie and Patty can take an outside shoot.

~ Sixers will surely benefit with this trade if they will maximize Harden's talent.
How do you propose they maximize his talent if Harden's main strength is on isolation plays? Would you let him have the ball and do his fancy dribbles most of the time to maximize his scoring? That would mean his teammates will have less time with the ball. Embiid is not an old-time center who just waits for a pass in side the paint. He loves to show off his handles as well.

The thing is, Embiid has a better work ethic and is more clutch than Harden ever will be. So I'm not exactly sure what he will learn from him from that perspective. And I certainly don't think that the locker room is necessarily going to be very healthy and vibrant as a result of Harden's arrival. Probably the opposite in fact. His temperament is quite strange.

Ben Simmons will be on a new number (10) this season in the Brooklyn, Ben Simmons had been on number 25 all through the beginning of his career, i think the reason he will be on a new in the Brooklyn is because 25 is not available for him. This also the number is fathe wore all through as a basketball. Can Ben Simmons be able to cope with this number that seems new to him at this point of his career?.

And Joel Embiid sometimes shoot 3's as well if not then he will fake and then goes to the middle for a dunk. I guess the version of Harden will really have to readjust to the culture of Sixers and not the other way around. If you can minimize his iso play and become an assists man then maybe it's a win win situation for Lakers. But if he will revert back to his old version while he was in the Houston team, it will be a disaster for the Sixers.

Now the we already saw that the Nets gained more with the Nets-Sixers trade, the question right now is will Kyrie get vaccinated before the playoffs or as early as possible?? Their chances of winning the championship goes down if Kyrie will leave them hanging, will not get vaccinated. Harden is gone already and Durant can't lead the team by himself. Yes the Nets have Curry and Mills as their shooting guards but you need an all-star point guard like Irving especially in the playoffs or especially now that they are in a 10 game losing streak already and counting. I just hope that this time, Kyrie will be vaccinated so he doesn't be a liability to the team.. at least. If Embiid is more on the title chase, he might learn more from Harden. Sixers will surely benefit with this trade if they will maximize Harden's talent.
That's the problem right now. Will the Sixers benefit from Harden and I don't think that the Sixers can maximize Harden's talent because of his hamstring injury. The Nets could've won the series against the Bucks if only Harden was healthy at that time and until now its the same injury that hinders him to be the best Harden that he can be. For sure Embiid wants to get a title but if Harden will leave them especially in the playoffs because of injury then their playoff chances will decrease significantly especially now that they traded so many players and round picks just to get Harden.

I don't think the jersey numbers is significant though, even the GOAT himself hs two jersey numbers the famous 23 and then 45. Still boils down as how he is going to perform in Nets uniform. We haven't see him this season because of the obvious drama with the Sixers, but since the trade is official already, he can start with a new left with the Nets although not sure what will be their chances this playoff since Durant is still recovering.

Celtics - Nuggets was a very competitive game and the happy side at the end was Celtics by 108-102. But I would like to point out that Nuggets are doing still very well while they are feeling the absence of Jamal Murray. Jokic played great again as always. He was nearly the most scorer of the game too and he got a nice triple-double. Nuggets are very likely to reach the playoffs now and Jokic's role in this success will be very big. And as of that stage, we will see how far they will be able to go.

Jamal Murray though has a season ending injury last year. So they have been operating this season without him and I would say doing good with the reigning MVP. But I haven't watch the game though, just monitor the score but I'm not surprised that the game will really be close. The Celtics though is hot right now and it was a good win for them, offsetting Jokic's triple double.
