Nets are in a really interesting condition now. They are still under the threat of being out of the playoff area in the standings. And as the end of the regular season is closing in, they need to do something to improve their performance and start a solid form to get better again. And they can still finish the regular season in top six for not playing an extra playoff round later on. But to do all of this, Nets must start a lasting winning streak like for many weeks. They still lost too many games lately and this is dragging them down.

After Lebron James, we watched a similar performance by Kyrie Irving last night against Charlotte Hornets. He scored 50 points in this game and that was really incredible to witness. And his field goal and 3-pointer accuracy was so high that it was fabulous. He scored 9 3-pointers which was amazing. Irving is a very special player undoubtedly. But he is able to play in only away games which is a big problem for Nets. I hope that he stops being obstinate and takes the covid-19 jab as soon as possible.
That was the biggest production of Kyrie Irving this season, Durant does not attempt a lot in that game and he just let Kyrie with the hot hand torch the Charlotte. They deserved that win, after their struggle, finally they have a big win and I hope to see them continue winning to earn the momentum going to the playoffs.

Seems that he's been awakened after that huge performance from LeBron and Tatum. Now it's Kyrie who made another

magnificent performance. It's good to see that his teammates are supporting him, knowing that he really has the hot hands during that game

and with the help of other role players who are behind him and KD, they manage to win and stop the losing streak.

Kyrie is always capable of doing that,  but now that Durant is playing with him, he is more inspired because they are just supporting each other. As the playoffs are approaching, they need to be more consistent and I'm sure I'll be putting my bet on them everytime.
And with the restrictions regarding vaccinations likely to be over, I think Kyrie will have the opportunities to play games more often than now where he can only play on road games which I find very inefficient knowing that he is one of the star players of the team.

I can't remember the last time Kyrie scored at least 50 in a single game until now and I know that he is capable of doing that. Another thing that I saw is Drummond's numbers this game. It seems like the smack of Plumlee in his face made him score and rebound way more than the usual although we know that he is capable of getting those though especially in the rebounds. He is a double-double scoring machine back when he is in Detroit. Still waiting on how Simmons fit for the team. Will he be a good fit for the team. Will he be a good addition to the team. Either way, I just hope that this is the start for the Nets team.

Giannis will attack if he saw that there's no tight defense,

Giannis will always attack the rim regardless of there's a tight defense or not. It's not just during when there's no tight defense.

Attacking the rim is his specialty. He already crash several good defenses by any team even before and that makes Milwaukee Bucks one of the best teams in the league that does have good stats in terms of inside scoring.

Stopping Giannis not just requires caliber players. Role players are enough. A good defensive key is a must. But even stopping Giannis, there are still lots of options for the Bucks to score a bucket. This team is really tough to handle in reality.

Exactly, the Bucks have really improved now, they have a lot of shooters surrounding Giannis and they are always alert when Giannis pass them the ball. Usually, Giannis will only be limited if you put 2 to 3 defenders on him, but since Giannis have learn to be an effective passer, that kind of strategy won't work anymore against him and the team.

Also a big deal tonight… Kawhi Leonard on the floor before the Clippers game shooting warmup shots. Seems like he’ll be back and in shape in time for the playoffs. A big deal for Clippers fans for sure.
~
Kawhi might be back during playoffs indeed.
If not mistaken, it's been 8 months since his surgery and full recovery from ACL injury takes about 6 to 9 months. If their current standing remains as it is, he will be participating in the play-in tournament. I'm still skeptical if he is mentally ready to return though.

Another good news is Paul George could also be back in action this month or the next.

Sometimes Green is also inconsistent so it's hard to trust the Rockets to win, in fact, I think they would really struggle this season and I'm not wrong. however, they are also surprising sometimes and this win is a big statement that they are not a bad team and could still compete against the playoffs teams in the NBA.

You have to understand that he is still a rookie, and therefore he is bound to make mistakes and this first season is his learning experience. He should be better in the next season if the Rockets would still give him a chance to play more minutes. Green maybe not delivering our expectation, first the favorite in the dunk contest, and he lose, and it looks like he would also not gonna win the ROY.

You're right about that, it is only natural that he will make mistakes just like the other rookies. But Jalen Green is still good despite being a rookie on his first professional league experience, the fact that he is one of the those rookies who could get the ROTY award makes him a good one.

Speaking of the ROTY, looks like Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons will get the award. He is on the 1st rank now from being the 2nd last week with 16.5 average PPG this season.

After dealing with his mental problem, now Simmons is having a back problem. What the F is wrong with that dude? I'm thinking that he doesn't wanna play at all with his new team but... well I hope that isn't the case.

Ben is a talented guy, but he doesn't want to play at all. I mean, if a player had really loved basketball, then he wouldn't have missed almost the entire season due to far-fetched "mental" problems. By the way, there are rumors that he will travel with the team to Philadelphia, and he will probably be present on the bench. To be honest, I don't know how the 76ers' fans will react to his appearance, but there will probably be a lot of hate towards him.

I am not sure if he still doesn't want to play. This dude managed to miss out so many games, and also decided not to play so many games as well. He also somehow managed to hurt his back at the same time, no idea how when he was not playing.  All in all it will take a miracle for someone to just get back, start playing and suddenly be amazing on day one. Obviously its going to be something that will take some time, even after he starts playing, he will not be as good. Which is why we need to give him sometime, hell maybe even count this year as gone. I personally believe that if he works hard, he could make a big difference to this team next season.

Most likely it will be Paul George first and then maybe Kawhi if they make it to the playoffs.

The team looks very bad without George, no one to go to if they needed to score crucial points. They shoot horrendously against the Warriors and allow the to have a good lead and then they did try to do some catch up in the 4th which is very difficult if you have tired legs.

As much as Cade is really good with Pistons, there are games that he completely missed.

But we have Evan who is pacing the young Rockets and leading them in some of their huge wins so for me he is the ROY. Scottie Barnes though is also coming up in ranks with the Raptors but I think he is too late to overcome the performance of Mobley.

The missing players in the team have not recovered yet, so the team is not playing as it should. They won their last match, and were beaten by a narrow margin in the previous 3 matches. I think their situation is not too bad, they can start a winning streak, already started Cheesy
In this case, they will not have a problem playing the playoffs

Kyrie definitely did deserve to have one good game at the very least. He has been standing his ground for what he believes, and I have to say I do not believe in what he believes, I disagree with him, I believe there should be no vaccination mandate for professional players because these are people who walk around with a doctor behind them, there is a big difference between that and regular person like me, but even in that case nobody should be punished, there could be some government outreach, but not too much, there should be a middle ground.

With him finally having this kind of game, it is clear to me that he is healthy and he proves that it can be done and that's great.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.  You say you don't agree with him, but then you agree with him in your next statement.  Is it that you think only people who can afford better medical treatment should be allowed to refuse the vaccine?  That seems odd to me, since for example, children can't afford better medical care but the covid virus is basically harmless to them.

Even Bill Gates came out and said those who caught Omicron have a better immune response than those who received the vaccine.  So even the most liberal vaccine supporter should at least acknowledge that Kyrie has the best immune defense to covid of anyone in the NBA...  The fact he's kept out of home games is ridiculous.  I'm just glad that he was so vocal and stuck to his guns.  He's now stronger than his peers because of it, and he set an example of just how manipulated civilians are and how much better off they'd be to think for themselves and avoid any government mandates, as they are almost never in the interest of the person being mandated.

Kyrie will be playing in home games before the end of the season and hopefully someday people go to jail for what I consider to be the largest waste of resources in human history.  Trillions spent, billions effected, economic disaster approaching, and it turns out everyone would be stronger today if we did nothing and let nature run it's course.  This is the most obvious example of weak men creating hard times I've ever witnessed.

Finally a win for the Brooklyn Nets with Kyrie Irving 50 points, and Durant on the court, They beat the Hornets easily and they will improve when Ben Simmons joins them in the court as well but when will he return to the court to play with them? that's a major question right now because they keep changing the schedule, They should be added to the starting 5 because they are struggling right now and we might not see them play in the playoffs if they keep winning a few games like this.
After dealing with his mental problem, now Simmons is having a back problem. What the F is wrong with that dude? I'm thinking that he doesn't wanna play at all with his new team but... well I hope that isn't the case.

Either way, it seems like its Kyrie's night as he scored 50 against the Hornets on the road. I think that the Nets team are really good when even Simmons isn't playing because they are somehow a better defensive team after the Simmons-Harden trade because of their additional players. I just hope that Simmons will play as soon as possible because many are waiting for him. Many Nets fans are waiting for him to play.

The big thing for me isn’t that Kyrie scored 50, it’s that he did it on 15/19 from the field and 9/12 from the 3 point line. That sort of efficiency is incredibly impressive. I couldn’t do it with nobody guarding me… Props to Kyrie. This was probably one of the best games of his career.

Also a big deal tonight… Kawhi Leonard on the floor before the Clippers game shooting warmup shots. Seems like he’ll be back and in shape in time for the playoffs. A big deal for Clippers fans for sure.

Hopefully he does get back for the playoffs.

The Clippers have done a lot more than the Lakers with much less talent this season, with Powell, PG and Kawhi all out. I think that they can really make some noise in the postseason when it comes to that stage, and everyone is healthy.

The Lakers and Westbrook are still struggling though. I'm not sure what would fix things except to blow up the entire team. They are "washed" as Barkley says.

No doubt he wants to play but he lacks discipline to stay in shape while negotiations of his transfer are ongoing apparently. Maybe he thought he had more time before a deal is done so he just went on doing other things.

How I wish this would happen. It just affected so many lives and I think caused more harm than good.

He's always healthy. It's just that his mental ego dominates the whole thing about him.

That won't be changed and he really stands to what he believes. It's good that to somehow cover some of his absence for the Nets where he really needs them, he is putting up big numbers whenever there's a chance to play for the team.

Brooklyn Nets now holds 2 players with attitude problems. Steve Nash will need the help of the experts to deal with those two.

But he is able to play in only away games which is a big problem for Nets. I hope that he stops being obstinate and takes the covid-19 jab as soon as possible.

Just in case, the team will be in Finals, they will be at a disadvantage of homecourt. If the Finals format will remained as 2-3-2, that's a good advantage for the team as Kyrie Irving will able to play on 3 straight games. But prior discussing their supposed Finals journey, there are 3 stages first that need to pass and playing without Kyrie at home is really a disadvantage for them.

To worked on Kyrie's future missed games especially in the playoffs, others especially Ben Simmons should unleash their inner best.

Yeah, they would need all the help they could get when they play homecourt. The vaccine mandate was lifted in New York but the private sector is still not letting Kyrie play. Just take the damn vaccine.  Grin
Ben Simmons on the other hand is like being preserved for something big. Tomorrow they will play against their former team mate James Harden in Philadelphia and I bet this will be a good one to watch. With Kyrie getting his groove and Durant back, they have a winning chance. I might bet for them if the spreads are inviting.

Simmons needs to cover Kyrie in terms of moving the ball and attracting defense,

They've got additional scorer Curry, Dragic and Mills can do that damage while having a healthy KD, but I guess it's too
early for that, they need to qualify first in the playoffs and beat each team that they'll going to face afterwards we can
discuss that final with Kyrie's concerns.
