Not yet settled unless it comes from officially that they won't do the trade anymore. I haven't seen any news yet but most of them are all about its interest for taking KD and also allowing first picks just for him.

This is a big trade that they do ask and if an interested team really wants him, they'll just going to offer something that cannot be declined or hard to decline trade.

In actuality, I really don't like Kevin Durant to be on the Golden State Warriors ever again, but if they are interested in getting Durant then I am happy that they did, but right now the team that really wants him and I had read on the news was the Phoenix Suns, and they will get Either Bojan Bogdanovic or Jordan Clarkson but the Jazz is still not complying to their terms, and they would like to get Deandre Ayton, and Ben Simmons,

Yeah, it puts Phoenix Suns in tough spot, but I really can't blame De Andre Ayton, he was becoming no so significant to the team as he once was and during the playoffs it was pretty evident that sometimes for things to workout well for the Suns he needed to be on the bench, no player would of Ayton's caliber would like that.  I however don't see Durant as step up for them either, I mean no disrespect to his abilities or work ethics but we all also know he influential he can be within that squad and that could have quite an effect on the chemistry they've built over the past 2-3 years.

If I were Kevin Durant I would just stay on the Brooklyn Nets and just like you, I also mean no Disrespect to Kevin Durant but for the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors he is not a step-up player when they acquired him, I just can't feel it that Kevin Durant will simply slip on to the team's Chemistry, for now, I think many teams are not looking on who you are as a player and what you have done, they have seen that the Warriors doesn't need a handful of Superstars to be champions they can unlock their players potential to be significant in any playing aspect they need,

Yeah, and I don't think that the Suns are willing to offer him that contract, it was obvious last year. And if they can't get Durant, then they will have to suffer the consequences of allowing Ayton to leave. Or Booker might be leverage now, so it's really up to them if they are willing or else forget about the Durant sweepstakes. And good for Ayton, but there will be more burden on his shoulder as he needs to proved himself that he is all worth of that max contract that the Pacers are going to offer.

The younger generations though learn from the 80'-90's era. There is no security in their basketball career so they really need to get a good contract while they are still very young, sort of maximized their profits with their skills. But that is one part of the equation, they should know how to take care of their money because after basketball there will be no income for them.

Good for the Suns if they will stay but that means there's no KD in the Suns. There's a rumor that he could play with the Miami Heat, I think that team is a legit championship contender than the Suns due to their great defense.

At the same time, Darvin Ham as the new head coach of the Lakers doesn't inspire hope, and I don't expect the Lakers will be able to achieve any success with him. The problem is that Ham has no experience as a head coach because he has only worked as an assistant coach until now.

Let's just give Darvin Ham the benefit of a doubt for now, I know he is somehow inexperienced when it comes to being a head coach but all coaches who became a head coach started the same stage as with Coach Darvin's situation now. The whole management surely thought of this hard and the fact that they picked Darvin as the new head coach really means something.

Now that the Phoenix Suns already have Ayton in max contract, I do not think they still have space to acquire KD. The three way trade with jazz and nets will not happen because of this development.

I hope they will remain professional because in the end if Westbrook will not play well, it will still affect the Lakers as a team and Lebron will not be happy with that. Miami Heat are very determined to trade Kevin Durant now. Durant also seems to be willing to leave Nets at the earliest opportunity now. He has been given the priority for being traded as well. Irving might have to wait for this to happen before he asks for his trade. Losing both of their stars would be too heavy for Nets I'm afraid. As a Durant fan my new favourite team are going to be the one where goes to.    It is likely to be Miami Heat for now seemingly.

Yeah, why not, that's why I said they made a bold move already, getting rid of the coach that gave Lebron his first ring as a Lakers. But last season was really a disaster that we already smell from a far that his head will roll and that's what happen here.

So not it's time for Ham to do his magic trick with the Lakers. He has a lot of experience as a player and then assistant coach. So for sure he has a lot to offer even with or without Westbrook on the Lakers line up for next season.

There's no other way Westbrook will leave the Lakers but through a trade, if they don't want him, they will find a way to trade him and I'm sure there are lots of teams that will be interested in getting him as he is the Mr. Triple double, he just needs to be given the system that will make him play his game, but unfortunately, it's not going to be a championship team as he does not play good teamwork.

Most news is about DeAndre Ayton. The Phoenix Suns now knew how important his role is as other teams will be willing to put more money just to grab him.

Another trend is the Donovan Mitchell trade to the Knicks.
I doubt this will come to fruition as the Jazz are looking at 6 future 1st round picks and 4 players on their roster. It won't happen especially as Quickley is growing in terms of skills and experience.
On the other hand, Miami Heat is the other target. But they have not much to offer.
Good luck to the Jazz, if they really want Mitchell out they should start to lower the standards.

They can do that if they want, besides, Cousins is not entitled of a big salary anymore, and his performance with the Nuggets in the playoffs was really something, he was the game changer in that series though they fall short against the Warriors.

Pacers sign him to a max sheet.  Now Suns hands are tied.  Let him him go for nothing or sign him to max and not be able to use him in a Durant deal.  2 days tick tock Phoenix.  Should be interesting to see what happens here.  

I would say that Suns were already not interested in signing him anyway. I think it is going to be a good trading piece for Pacers. Let’s face it, some teams do not have a chance to be champions, no matter what happens they do not have that championship fabric. I do not expect Orlando, Cavs (again anyway), Suns, OKC etc etc to be champions.

There are like 15 of these teams and they are not championship material season in and season out, and they do this for over a decade, some for over two decades. This isn't just "not being champions" thing, they haven't been contenders for that long. This is why Pacers getting Ayton will not be a big deal neither, but they could trade him for some stuff at least.

No matter where he goes if he doesn't get the type of support he wanted, the team he is in will gonna have a hard time catching up to the NBA playoffs and Miami Heat should really take care of bidding to get him because he hasn't been the same like how he used to be because he is now prone to injuries. The heat has some tremendous games last season and if not for the injuries, they could have instead gotten to the NBA finals. Durant should consider giving some opportunities to his teammates to create strong chemistries and to give them chance to further improve.

The Suns have reportedly matched the Indiana Pacers offer sheet to DeAndre Ayton. That means Ayton is now officially a Phoenix Suns player. I think this is Phoenix going all in on a potential Durant trade. I know they don’t want Ayton in the roster so it seems clear they just put up 9 figures for a trade piece.
