The Denver Nuggets were able to beat the Golden State Warriors. I feel like if there was another couple of minutes left the Warriors would have won though. The impressive thing is that Denver did it without Murray who is joining them for their home opener. I think the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans are going to surprise people this year and show that their time is coming. My sleeper picks for the Finals.

I just saw some glimpse of the game, specially in the last 8 minutes, the Warriors keep coming back even with just 1 minute left. Yeah, it was really an impressive win although the Warriors had a bad shooting night in the first half. They build a good lead and then just hold off the Warriors come back in the 4th quarter.

Bruce Brown and Jeff Green played very good as they play clutch. It could be the Nuggets could really be one of the teams in the already stack up West division.

I was shocked too as I saw the news. I was not able to watch the game and just look thru the highlights.
It's somehow surprising how the Nuggets played better when they took Murray out for his knee injury management. Their rotation was better and their guards are working their asses and helping Jokic gain a W.
The first win is against the defending champs, good job. Jokic ended it with a triple-double.

Grizzlies is also one of my picks that may end up in the Finals or West Conference. Pretty solid roster and just won against the Rockets, now at 2-0.

Although the Nuggets beat the defending champ, I'm still not impressed with their performance. Why? because they always blew out their big lead, they don't know how to handle their lead especially in tough situation, they even gave the Warriors a chance to bring the game into OT, if Thompson tying shot went in, things would be different in the OT.

He already proved himself last season, he will be a hall of famer, I'm hoping that he will stay healthy so injury will not kill his career. That game we've seen how athletic he is, it's fun to watch the Memphis with him due to lots of highlights. Also, great job by Jalen Green, there's no superstar in the team but he is playing hard, so soon we might see him leading this team.

I didn't watch the game either but I saw some highlights and I confess that the Nuggets also surprised me, especially without Murray playing.

Wait a minute, do you really believe the Pelicans can play in the finals? What are your arguments that this could happen?

Currently the Pelicans have an interesting and promising roster, but is that enough for them to be NBA champions or WCF champions?

I think there's no question about Ja's athleticism, it was in full display as well last year with highlite dunks and block shots. But he got injured against the Warriors so we didn't see the full potential of the series.

Jalen Green as well, I think Houston should build around him, this young lad is very promising as well with a huge 33 points. They just fell short as I thought that they are going to upset the Memphis here. But Ja won't let that happen in a big scoring game.

That's the deterrent for most of these stars including him, having an injury. We saw it happen in many of them and how they're able to get back hard after their recovery. These two got no superstars but doing great jobs on their respective teams.

They're on the lead and that's disappointing when they were not able to maintain their lead. Well, both teams have two great prospects and these could be the future. While others are talking about a new prospects like Wembanyama, let's take a look first on who are in the league and that's another story to talk to.

Houston Rockets played a surprising game versus the caliber of Memphis Grizzlies. Jaren Jackson is out and he would have made the difference. A playmaker is in demand at Houston to make their plays work better.

Ja Morant is a really talented player and he showed it to us as early as his first year in the NBA. His confidence is over the moon and it made him look bitter but absolutely not bitter. He is just cocky. Not a good indication because it turns into arrogance and pride when he gets old. Jalen Green was also cocky in his first year and paid it when he was outshined by the other rookies for the Rookie of the Year.

I was really amazed by the performance of the Denver Nuggets but I really expected Nikola Jokic to make a triple-double performance, pretty much the Nugget's teamplay was really amazing but it was a close game I really think that the teamplay of Nuggets really improves both teams was really fun to watch in my opinion both teams ball movement was really amazing, and yeah if there is still much time the Warriors will definitely catch up to the Denver Nuggets,

Now here is my pick for tomorrow's game, I am doing a parlay on the favorable teams

Orlando Magic VS Boston Celtics

The stake odds for this game are 3.55 for the Magic and 1.32 for the Celtics, and right now the Orlando Magic now got there 2 consecutive losses, while the Boston Celtics got their 2 consecutive wins, for this game I think the Boston Celtics will surely win this and the odds are not that high so this can still be a profitable bet,

Indiana Pacers VS Detroit Pistons

The stake odds for this game are 1.94 for the Pacers and 1.91 for the Pistons, for this game Indiana doesn't have any win yet and have 2 consecutive losses, while the Pistons got their 1 win against the Orlando Magic, for me the Detroit Piston could win this game

Miami Heat VS Toronto Raptors

The stake odds for this game are 1.71 for the Heat and 2.19 for the Raptors, right now the Miami Heat has taken heavy teams which is why they attain heavy losses, while the Toronto Raptors had a pretty close win against the Cavaliers, but for this game, I think that the Miami Heat would win this game,

Denver Nuggets VS Oklahoma City Thunder

The Stake odds for this game are 1.30 for the Nuggets and 3.75 for the Thunders, well, defeating this season's champion is a great feat for the nuggets and they surely got a smooth play against the Warriors, that is why they win it, so my pick is the Denver Nuggets,

Sacramento Kings VS Los Angeles Clippers

The stake odds for this game are 2.23 for the kings and 1.69 for the Clippers, For this game, I think the Clippers have a more solid team now that they have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George all together, they will surely win against the Kings, and for sure,

Ja Morant dropped 49 points in their game against the Rockets! Jalen Green also did great and there's no other front-runner on this team despite being one year with the team, his contribution is enormous, and not surprised that he's got the second pick for round 1 last year.
Those that haven't watched some games of Ja should start watching him. Although he's got some bitter statements last time against MJ, this boy got really has something to show aside just from being athletic.

Jalen Green will improve under the Rockets, I would not be surprised if he gets a max contract with his performance, that's the luxury when you are playing in a team where there's no superstar, you would really build yourself into one since the coaching staff has trusted you.

I think the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans are going to surprise people this year and show that their time is coming. My sleeper picks for the Finals.

Surprising but not that surprising to me because I know that the Warriors are the champions, and they are a great team but that doesn't mean that they are unbeatable already. What's more surprising to me is the start of the Utah Jazz right now. They defeated the Cavaliers on their debut game, and they also defeated the Timberwolves.

Now with regards to the Pelicans, I said that they are the "dark horse" of the league right now and that is the team to watch out in my opinion. Will they reach the playoffs? Yes, they will. How high they can get in the playoffs? I think they can go as high as Conference Semi-Finals only. They are too young, and their roster is too inexperienced when it comes to the playoffs, and we know how experience affects the performance of the team during the playoffs. They are a promising team yes but to win the title is too exaggerated at least for me but I will be surprised if they might take it all and be the WCF champions.

They'll be very tough to beat this season, they have a good defense and they have great players that could penetrate inside. Zion, Ingram, and Jonas V., these guys are hard to stop, plus they also have some shooters and great defenders, so it's not gonna be easy. Let us not forget that the best team last season which was the Suns were having a hard time beating a zion less Pelicans, now that they are complete, things will be different.

Great start so far, that's because Zion is healthy, hopefully nothing serious will happen to him as we will know what would happen if Zion will be injured. Look how confident the Pelicans are, they know they have a reliable superstars that are willing to carry the team, so they are not afraid to shoot the ball and be aggressive to grab rebounds.

overall, this team is more good on defense, and that's very important especially in the playoffs.

Oh, that's true. But, we all know how good the Warriors are when it comes to the 3rd quarter, they actually made a record of +13 for that last year.
IMO, it's just good to see that the Nuggets can make this type of win even though their roster has been changed a lot. It's a good start.
They might still be on the road to strengthening their chemistry and that includes two of their players who were injured last year, MPJ and Murray.

Later, they will be up against OKC, I bet they could beat this team easily.

Was happy with the play of the Knicks last night.  Blow out pretty much all the way through.  The best part was the second unit looked real strong.  Was worried about their depth but they shoukd be getting back q grimes soon too.

Also watched end to end the den gs game.  Impressed with Denver grit.  Tough to take on gs in theor building, jokic is just unreal.  Think it will be a race between him and doncic for mvp this year.  Them dudes are just crazy good.

It's worth noting that Ingram scored 28 points, and Valanciunas had a double-double with 30 points and 17 rebounds against the Hornets. So the great start of the season for the Pelicans isn't all because of Zion. This team really has a lot of potentials, and I also hope that Zion and other key players can avoid serious injuries. Honestly, it seems to me that if the Pelicans stay healthy, they will even be able to reach the Western Conference Finals.

Yes, the selections are good and if the coach will play his card well then, the winning chance is high for this team.

CJ is another good addition to back up all the stars when they needed some additional threat on their offensive attacks.

It will be witness, how big Zion's impact with a good set of teammates who really working well with the rotations.

Jalen Green will improve under the Rockets, I would not be surprised if he gets a max contract with his performance, that's the luxury when you are playing in a team where there's no superstar, you would really build yourself into one since the coaching staff has trusted you.

Still, in his 20s, he will surely reach that ceiling of him for sure with the help of the Houston Rockets and right now as a shooting guard for the Rockets if he proves that at his young age he is all-star material then the possibility of the max contract will be his that is for sure, but he still has a lot of caps and a high ceiling to reach,

Totally agree, The Warriors might be champions but they are not necessarily unbeatable, there are still ups and downs with the way they play they make mistakes, and there are also liabilities involved, now I am also surprised and at the same time glad that the Utah Jazz is surprisingly great in addition of Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, Kelly Olynyk and Jarred Vanderbilt's addition has surely skyrocket Utah Jazz performance, also in incorporation with Jordan Clarkson's performance as well,

For me, the Pelicans might be and they have beaten the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets so far, I want to see a bigger team that the Pelicans can scrape!

It's not a good sight to see only 3 players in the Lakers have double digits in points. Their critics will probably dissect this game.

But the center of the criticism will be on Westbrook. I'm so disappointed with his performance, it looks like he is also not happy with his teammates, you can tell by looking at his production, that's not the same Westbrook we saw years ago. Back then, he also played with superstars like Durant and Harden, but Westbrook does really excel unlike now that he cause the struggle of this team.

Yes, I'm not that already sure what happened to him that made him what he is now. Is it really too late for Westbrook now? Or he is already way too out of his prime? Because there is something wrong, really. He knows that this is his last chance, so if he won't improve his game then there will be no teams in the league who will be interested to get him and sign up because surely the Lakers won't re-sign him if his not improving.

That's the deterrent for most of these stars including him, having an injury. We saw it happen in many of them and how they're able to get back hard after their recovery. These two got no superstars but doing great jobs on their respective teams.
Ja morant is a good player I am not against that, but people are overreacting on his good moves, and yes he is scoring a lot of points and he is playing well but that's a game that could be locked down easily with some good defense, a bit of zone on inside, some one step behind defending and you could lock him down on playoff games.

He needs to learn how to shoot threes a lot better to be a danger, nobody can defend Lebron like that, because even though he is a freight train when he wants to go in, and even at his age he dunks over people, he could also still kill you inside if he leave him open. Ja doesn't have that yet, and he needs to improve it asap if he wants to be a superstar.
