Who wouldn't choose a player who has averaged a double-double for the past 2 seasons with the Nets? I'm confident that James Harden wouldn't challenge the management's decisions if he didn't believe that some teams would agree to the trade. He recognizes his value to a team, and any team he joins is likely to improve. The logic is straightforward: if a successful trade involving Ben Simmons occurred, it would be unwise to assume that James Harden won't also be traded.

Harden is high caliber player so for sure there are teams that willing to acquire him if things will not work with him and Sixers. Although his involve on many toxicity on his team but if he like the treatment given to him he also exchange it with quality performance. Maybe they should let the trade happen since nothing will happen to Sixers if they push Harden to obey what they like since the same on what he do on his past team which he create a conflict he will not play decently and come out of shape.

I have heard about that as well but it turns out that it was a mere speculation made by someone that the winner of the in-season tournament will have an automatic playoff slot. It would be unfair too to the other teams if that will happen because some teams in the league now have more chances to reach further compared to what they had attained during their run last season.

The NBA schedule is being released today if anyone was dying to get their favorite games circled on the calendar. I know I’m personally looking forward to Phoenix’s home opener against the Los Angeles Lakers, as it will be the first time LeBron James and Kevin Durant have faced off in several years. Will surely be a great game to watch for fans.

I don't see the schedule on the official NBA site yet because it says "no data available." Anyway, if I understand correctly, the Lakers and Suns will meet in the in-season tournament. As what was said above, the season will start on October 24 and will be having two games in the opening night which are the Lakers @ Nuggets and Phoenix @ Warriors game. While the Phoenix vs Lakers game will happen on the following day, October 25.

These games are indeed interesting enough to see, including the night opener of Phoenix vs Warriors because CP3 now is with the latter and he will be facing his old team with the same roster, not him included of course.

What is the article you posted saying that is differently? I said that LeBron James and Kevin Durant would face off in Phoenix’s home opener, which appears to be the same information you posted. I think you confused me saying “home” opener with “season” opener. While the Suns’ first game of the year isn’t against the Lakers, their first home game is. Or am I misunderstanding something?

If it becomes something that teams wants to win then yes it will matter and we are going to see teams play for real and we are going to have fun. However, if it becomes something useless then we are not going to see something that will matter at all.

I think the best thing to make it more fun in the end would be checking all-star game, we have changed the all-star method a lot and in return it didn't become more fun, nobody does any defense at all and they just have fun and nobody cares. If it's like that, then I am sorry but this will be bad but if they do actually play like it matters that means we are going to see something better. So all in all, I believe that we are going to see something that will matter without a doubt.

Unlike Dame, he really wanted to play on another team right now in the hope not to waste his skills for the 76ers I wonder what had happened there. I thought they were able to become good buddies with Embiid whom he taught one of his signature moves which is the stepback three. Now that they are having this fuss, that would not be the case anymore. I bet Embiid wouldn't have thought to have alike of Ben Simmon on their team so soon and also wanted to leave the team in a childish way as well. If there is little to nothing to play for than of course the defense will lack.  Not only do players want to stay healthy for the regular season (and real playoffs) but they don't want to hurt the other players too.  It's hard to make any of these non in season games count for anything.  Honestly the vegas league is better basketball than the all star game.  Those players are fighting for spots on a team at least.

I was losing my mind with your first sentence but it is probably a joke. I don't think the amount of money or even the idea of a player as good as Harden playing there can be real. It would be totally crazy if something like this happens though.

In-season tournament is like what FA Cup to the Premier League, just for the NBA, isn't it? I feel like it will not be so exciting but let us see. Maybe players will focus on it too much, then it can be fun to watch. Other than that, it will not affect the season so much I guess.

Yes, I agree with that. Well, we have seen Coach Michael Malone disappointed with the All-Star this season. Obviously, they are not playing for a goal anymore and because of that, the entertainment purpose is also gone.

The in-season is probably their answer. They could just erase that All-Star tournament and use that time to continue the season because they will take time before they will end the NBA Cup. If this will click, then they gave the fans something to look forward to rather than a boring All-Star which probably doesn't have a fix even if they try to tweak it so many times.

It's not actually a joke, it's an speculation. The NBA is trying to get involved with Saudi money, but there's no way they can top the offer on Mbappe as basketball is barely even half of the football popularity in the middle east. That $900M is of course a joke. NBA stars might get an a good offer from any middle east team, but what they earn in the US could still top that offer for sure, because they have got tons of gigs and sponsorships in the US than in any foreign counties. Only those NBA players who have lost value could actually accept a good offers overseas.

This is not the first time though to see a franchise players left his team to chase greatness in our ball club. And that is the risk that NBA teams have to stomach though, when they give up so much for this one player and think that he will stay to help them win a franchise NBA title, now they start talking about getting their talent somewhere else.

So for sure if Joel will leave then he will get the biggest boos every in the Sixers arena if he comes back and play there.

Yup, my bad mate. I actually misread the term and was confused by how the the games will go as I thought that the Phoenix Suns will be hosting the game against the Warriors when in fact it is the opposite thing It will be the Warriors who will host the game against Suns and the next day after that, they will have their own home opener against the Lakers.

Anyway, hopefully LeBron James and Kevin Durant will be both present on that game as it has been a while since we have witnessed their match-up and it will be a nice gift to the NBA fans.

Either Embiid will request a trade, or he will get traded. Given what's going on within the organization, there's a likelihood that Embiid might not stay with the 76ers. Just consider what might happen to the 76ers' season if Harden sits out, since the management doesn't plan to trade him. Do we think Embiid will be happy with that? Next season will likely be a determining factor in Embiid's decision, as this team lacks a long-term plan and struggles in taking care of its players.
