2026 NBA Season

We are finally very close to enter into the most beautifull part of the season. The play off are just a few weeks away.

The sad part is in eastern conference we can affirm the 6 teams who goes direct into the play offs, i dont see the Hawks cutting the gap. And the same for the Raptors against Bulls who is currently in the 10 spot.

I think there are still enough games for pretty much anything to happen.  You never know when someone might get injured or a team will get hot.  I am excited for the postseason and I guess it isn't that long from now.  I think Luka gives hope that this might be LeBron's final chance to get ring #5.  I think they show some real promise.  None of the other teams are exciting me too much.  The Timberwolves haven't played like I thought they would.  Denver seems to have gotten stale.  I'm not a fan of OKC or Houston... 

The games the Timberwolves are playing are not on the same level as they were last year. With KAT, on their roster, it definitely created a huge impact for them but now it might be because of a lack of chemistry with their newly acquired players, Randle and DiVincenzo. Still, I would like to see Edwards stepping up his game more, like maybe 30+ points per game.

As for other teams, I am not a fan of OKC but the way those guys are playing convinced me to watch every game they have. They are truly entertaining especially when they are on the speed mode. Considering their young age, they can do it easily and I love those kinds of plays as I am a big fan of the old Phoenix Suns with Nash at point and every play is just a matter of below 10 seconds.

As for other teams, I am not a fan of OKC but the way those guys are playing convinced me to watch every game they have. They are truly entertaining especially when they are on the speed mode. Considering their young age, they can do it easily and I love those kinds of plays as I am a big fan of the old Phoenix Suns with Nash at point and every play is just a matter of below 10 seconds.

SGA is a masterpiece to watch. He is a lowkey unstoppable and very good with mid range jumper that is so hard to block or counter since he can drive and shoot 3 points too.

The most shocking part is he not greedy on the ball that he has the highest assists despite he score the most. This show how versatile SGA in terms of play making and creating score for his team.

Assuming Chet will not be injured, I think they might reach higher rounds on play-offs.

Good news for sure!    While he is away Lakers are having issues. They lost against Nets and Bucks and now it is a 3-game losing streak.

Doncic is trying to carry. He scored 45 points against Bucks but still a hard loss by 20 points... Lakers need LeBron as quick as possible.

I think next year will be the start of their full force for their roster. I think even if they are in full roster they can still compete with strong teams since they still don’t bond well especially Fox.

Wemby just got CP3 as right partner since most of his recent teammates is so dumb to give him the ball always.

Next year, I expect Spurs to be on the higher spot.

Wemby should be healthy next year, and with Fox, they’ll definitely improve. It’s a shame, but even with that, I still don’t see them making the playoffs. Then again, OKC was in the same boat before, struggling during their rebuild until they figured out how to win games. Now, they’re the best team in the NBA. Since the Spurs are made up of young players with great talent, there’s a strong chance they’ll find success too. So let's give this team few more seasons and maybe for Wemby to gain more muscles.

It will take some experiment on the part of Spurs, and with coach Pop who has that experience, maybe they can find that missing link or put together the team with a healthy roster last year. I think with OKC, they have multiple picks because of the trade from WB and KD and now they got good players such as SGA.

And I will say that they have a under rated coach as well, so everything really fits on the part of OKC. But for the Spurs, getting Fox might be a good start, as Fox is also a good player and tandem him with Wemby (but they need to be healthy), it could be a different picture for the next season.

Just some news got in: Breaking: De'Aaron Fox Undergoes Critical Surgery
This is sad for him and for the Spurs. They'll lose him for the entire season and it seems that this season is going to be a giveaway to some other teams because they won't probably make it to the playoffs and even further.

Well, it looks like the Spurs have had no luck this season. First, Coach Pop has had to step away due to a stroke, then Wembanyama has been out of action due to a blood clot in his shoulder, and now Fox is out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery. It's obvious that the Spurs without their head coach and key players have no chance of even qualifying for the play-in tournament.

Can't expect anything from them now since it seems like they are not going anywhere this season. They don't have solid players that can help their team to win and advance on next round. I think they just let this season slide and try to rebuild next season.

Spurs never be the same after Parker,Ginobli and Duncan has been out of this team.

I guess it will be hard for their team to recover this season due to many unfortunate conditions happen, but still watching them if there's certain miracle will happen for their team so lets see what's going to happen with them.

It's really very unfortunate for them to see go down this way, specially Fox, who they acquired and hoping that he will really help the team together with Wembanyama. But there are things that we can't really control, the injuries to them.

Maybe the remaining players will try to push everything for this season and then rebuild. I mean this could be perfect time for those players to show their talents with the coaching staff and see how valuable they are. Just don't play games that you are going to lose. At least show that they are fighting instead of letting it slide.

I agree with how SGA playing the game so smart as he can take all kinds of offensive attacks, but also a great passer he knows how to recognize his teammates.  With that kind of leadership they've got a lot of chance to move forward and since they are still young they've got a lot of time to keep improving, though as how they are playing now, they already have that opportunity to go far just need to keep pushing and continue that winning mentalities..

That is a quick return. I’m a little bit surprised they don’t hold him out longer to rest considering he was given a few weeks timeline to return. I think this shows that the Lakers are more concerned with getting Luka and LeBron more time on the floor together than they are about an injury for LeBron flaring up in the playoffs.

I knew Lebron wasn't going to stay out for long so as to help the Lakers solidify their position in the standings, because the West is still very volatile, hopefully he's not going to aggravate the injury or have a reoccurrence, I think he's still going to be out for perhaps 2+ games, he's already out for today match against the Denver Nuggets, and so is Luka Doncic who is ruled out probably for rest/calf injury management.

I guess we’ll have to wait until the playoffs before making any strong predictions.. I don’t want to underestimate the real contenders in the West like the Wolves and Nuggets. Now that the Lakers are stronger with Luka, even though OKC holds the number 1 spot, I’m honestly not confident they’ll make it past the WCF at best. And of course, let’s not forget the Warriors and Rockets, who are now healthy again as they could still shake things up in the West.

It’s a different story now for OKC compared last year since SGA is already developed well so good in clutch while he has reliable teammates now compared before especially now that Chet is back and healthy.

I think OKC is not a choke team anymore since SGA is unstoppable with Chet presence inside.

On the other hand, Lakers is indeed so hard to beat on game 7 series since they already have Luka that is so good finisher.

They grew up. That's what happened. This young Thunder team is really promising and it's not just SGA, the whole team is working their ass off just to win every game they can. Now, they defeated the former champion and that's a big achievement.

Coach Mark Daigneault on the other hand doesn't want them to get ahead of themselves. It's still early to celebrate and they will have the playoffs that they must conquer too. I think this is the right approach for his young team, make them super hungry for every win and let them know that even if they win against the former champions, that won't mean a thing if they don't win the championship.

That's also what I'm seeing, with grew up already, specially from last year, and they keep their number 1 spot and improved it for this season. Of course, it will based on who's opponent they will have in the second round, but I think they had that motivation for now as they are healthy and everyone is doing their part.

I watched the game last night. Dončić tried with good intentions but there weren't other pieces that help score besides Reaves. Lakers were never able to get into the game, as the Bucks got the lead whole game long. Brook Lopez also played very extra. Lakers need LeBron and also their taller players, right now their rotation is quite short. Even Hachimura's absence affect them so much.

I watched the game last night. Dončić tried with good intentions but there weren't other pieces that help score besides Reaves. Lakers were never able to get into the game, as the Bucks got the lead whole game long. Brook Lopez also played very extra. Gab Vincent is one player who struggled on that game, he was doing good with the Lakers in their last 3 games if I'm not mistaken. But against the Bucks, he struggled and so Luka try his best to carry the team but it was not enough.

Initially, we have seen that Randle is like taking the game on his hand with his 3 points and doesn't want to pass to Gobert. But now, it seems that he have understand his role.  ANT is still the number option for them.

It's because most of the players are unknown, even the coach himself who crafted OKC to be a great team in the last two seasons. And for sure you will be surprised that coach Mark Daigneault is the coach of the year last season, and probably going to win again for this year for guiding OKC again, for the best record in the West.

Without Lebron, the Lakers don't have much of a chance. No matter how well the Lakers played, they lost the game against the Denver Nuggets because they played poorly, especially in the second quarter. If we had Lebron on the court, I'm sure the outcome of the game would have been different, and with Doncic out, things aren't going well for the Lakers. I hope they can get over their injuries as soon as possible. We thought the Lakers were doing well, but now it seems certain that they'll start to decline

You are right, I haven't watch the games, but when I check the scoreboard: 131-126 for the Nuggets. So the struggle continues, as the only option they have is Austin Reaves who scored 37 big points and then rookie sharp shooter Dalton Knecht.

I wonder though if there are sports betting sites that cover Bronny to score at least 2+ points in this game. It could be a good odds as well as player props as he did score 5 points in this game. And with this loss, Lakers could be in danger in going down to 6 or lower and could be fighter in the play-in if they don't win their remaining games as Warriors and the Wolves are very hot right now.

Teams need to rebuild after their previous success and we have seen post Tim Duncan era, the Spurs is not the same anymore.

Maybe this could be the closest that they can get, with Wemby and CP3 and now Fox and then a lot of role players. But it seems that fate intervene and so Wemby and Fox went down before they can even have a chance for a playoff.

So let's see for next year, specially on Wemby, as he is one of the best young players we have right now and we don't want to see him like a season ending like for this year.

Warriors and the Wolves care closing in and yeah, it might end up that the Warriors getting in a better position and the Lakers goes down to the 6th position if they can't win their last regular season games.

That was almost an upset, and bettors probably lost money on that game since most were likely betting against the Lakers on the spread. But the Lakers covered, as they only lost by a single digit. Reaves is seriously underrated. he deserves a max contract when the Lakers renew his deal.
