Looks like the Nuggets aren't going to give up. They managed to beat the Thunder tonight and extend that series to game 7.
With the way the previous games went, I think Game 7 between the Thunder and Nuggets will be very close and probably unpredictable. Although the Thunder still seems to be the favorite.

Great effort. I didn't expect the Nuggets to actually force a game 7 . Back to back 7 game series for them. They have looked dead in the water several times, the Jokic haters like Kendrick Perkins already wrote them off as well and here we are again, game 7 coming up.
They already proved they can win at OKC, of course it will be very tough though. Maybe OKC took it a bit too relaxed since they didn't have pressure going into game 6. So going back home in a do or die scenario will bring a different mindset. One thing speaking for Denver though is experience. They have been there and know what to do. The young Thunder team will feel the pressure for sure!!

Who remembers this one?  Tongue Tongue

2 WORDS. GAME 7!!!!!
The second Game 7 series in this year's playoffs.

Knowing that it's a battle of 2 MVP candidates, I'm pretty sure that Game 7 is a pretty exciting game to watch. The Thunder are the slight favorites to win in this one just because of the home court advantage, and they're younger hence, more stamina, but how many times did we see road teams disappointing home teams in this playoff? It will only come to 2 things. Injuries and GRIT. Who has more will to win?

Experience will play a big role especially in the crucial minutes of the game, and because of this, I'll give a slight edge towards the Nuggets hence, winning on the road. Murray and MPJ might be injured, but if other players like how Braun, and Strawther stepped up on this game, they have a chance to win it.

The series went to Game 7. Denver beat Oklahoma 119-107 on their home court.
This time, Denver had 5 players score in double figures. Only 3 in the last game.
Everything will be decided in the last game. It was no surprise that this game would go to Game 7. I wonder how Jokic will do in the last game. He has scored over 40 points in two games of the series, if they can do the same in the last game, Denver will advance to the conference finals.
Oklahoma is my favorite.

Yes, and so the Nuggets are into back to back game 7 this NBA playoffs.

And when we thought that Murray is injured, he come to play here. And they have produce one unsung hero here, Julian Strawther.

Everything will be decided in the last game. It was no surprise that this game would go to Game 7. I wonder how Jokic will do in the last game. He has scored over 40 points in two games of the series, if they can do the same in the last game, Denver will advance to the conference finals.
Oklahoma is my favorite.
The only difference is that the Oklahoma Thunder still has the homecourt advantage here and maybe they are still the favorite to win this series. Unless Jokic delivered a MVP performance again and make us believed that he should be the MVP for this season. The two J Williams though has as poor performance in this game, but I'm still seeing them making a big comeback game in game 7.

Denver may give us a deja vu. They beat the Clippers 4-3 in the previous round and the series is now 3-3 in this round. Oklahoma is the better team but Denver has the Jokic factor. If Jokic shows a superior performance, Denver can advance to the next round. Of course, not only Jokic but also his other teammates need to help him score. Jokic scored 44 points in the game they lost 112-105. If his teammates had scored a little more, Denver would have advanced to the next round. The last game will be very interesting. Oklahoma has the home advantage but we should not forget the first game.

OKC  can end the series tomorrow.

Jamal Murray is being deemed as questionable for the game 6 vs OKC Thunder tonight, the Nuggets are already in a tough spot enough, not having Jamal Murray might just be the final nail in the coffin that would see OKC close out the series. I know Jokic is still going to be the biggest threat, but he sure can’t do it alone, and with MPJ also struggling with shots due to his shoulder injury, and Aaron Gordon didn’t do much in game 5 either.

But he did delivered his best performance so far in this series, as he is very instrumental in taking a win against the OKC Thunder tonight. Although Aaron Gordon shows some signs of injury as well when he hold on his hamstring, but I think he will be fine as well.

Same with MPJ, he did have 10 points so that is enough to extend the series for another game 7 for them. So it's a question whether they can still continue to go and play without that needed rest of the young legs of the OKC will prevail in this series and probably the MVP has been decided, but I think SGA will still show why he should be the deserving MVP (if he lost to Jokic).

This is Game 7, and at this point, experience matters more than age.
OKC might be the younger team, but just look at the Nuggets. They were down by double digits, didn’t panic, and came back to win by double digits. That’s championship composure right there.

As for me, I’m just enjoying the game.

OKC is still the heavy favorite in Game 7, but fun fact, they only covered 1 of their 3 home wins so far.
So I’ve got a good feeling about the Nuggets pulling this off… and if they do, I’ll be cashing in on a sweet payout.

Pacers and Timberwolves are still waiting for their opponents in the conference finals...

2-3 in Celtics - Knicks series and 3-3 in Nuggets - Thunder.

I still think Nuggets won't make it. But this is still an amazing effort without a good coach. If they had one I think they would go for the championship.  Smiley  I believe Knicks will also get past Celtics even if the series comes to 3-3.

Oklahoma is my favorite.

Jokic is playing extra but there is no positive future for his team now. They even lost a game earlier in which he got 44 points and 15 rebounds.  Tongue

Good for both Pacers and Wolves that the series with other teams extended since they get a lot of rest then have lots of time to prepare.

Also its amazing to see each team that they are really fighting and somehow they make the playoffs more exciting. Although Celtics win on their last game but still they are in critical situation which they need to get another win since they are totally done and join the vacationer if they lose in their next game.

Nuggets and Thunder series is one of the best match up in playoffs so far. We see both of them doing good and that make the series hard to speculate, but I think OKC got homecourt advantage on next game but let see if Nuggets could do something and win huge from OKC on game 7.

Seems like Knicks could actually end up with a Conference finals, I started to think that I would never see that again, it's a shocker that we are seeing it. In any case, we are seeing OKC and Wolves finals, and Knicks vs Pacers finals. That could be a great situation for us because none of them were really teams that looked good before this season.

All four never been to finals for long, they are all brand new there, and while they did look good, it's teams that haven't been great recently or none of them won a ring in many years( I am sure there could be even one that never got it). So the fact that we are seeing these teams, makes it so much more entertaining. I was bored of the finals that we can predict, this one is better.

OKC still needs to jump the game 7 hurdle and the Celtics,

I really hope the Knicks wins at MSG or else it's game over.

OKC crumble like a chicken on the 4th quarter. Sometimes strange happened to their shooting accuracy because all of them can’t shoot properly even SGA. This is same scenario on earlier games probably because they are pressured when Nuggets is rallying.

Knicks so good on crucial games. I think they can make it even if Boston forced game 7.

I knew it, the Nuggets won't easily back down, just like in the first round. Aside from Jokic, Murray and Braun also scored 20+ points to help the Nuggets force a Game 7. And what a high free throw, 27pts compared to only 10 for OKC. As long as they can help Jokic on offense, they have a chance to beat them in Game 7. Let's see tomorrow if the Celtics can also force a Game 7, since they did manage to win Game 5 even without Tatum.

I thought Nuggets will be done on this game because SGA is unstoppable on 1st and 2nd quarter but everything is in favor with them when SGA received his 4th personal foul.

Jaylen Williams is struggling badly on this series that makes OKC failed to close this game. I think OKC can still beat Nuggets even with help for Jokic if OKC players will do the same.

SGA is unstoppable if his teammates is creating space for him or allow him to create a play.

SGA is unstoppable if he can go the free throw as he fishes more fouls. But in this game, it's different and then Jaylen Williams struggles. That is one of the biggest factor in the second half. While the offense of the Nuggets started to click in the 3rd quarter as they started to pull and established their lead.

One thing that might favor the Thunder is that they have the home court advantage in game 7. Unlike in the previous series of the Nuggets against the Clippers, so this is very crucial and I think Thunder might defeat the Jokic lead Nuggets in the decider.

It's Strawther who made a huge impact. At the other NBA thread, I wished that MPJ would show up because when he shoots that ball, it will make more space for Jokic and Murray. Today, Strawther found his shooting rhythm and helped out a lot to make the Nuggets win Game 6. Plus, Jalen Williams of the OKC is having a rough night, so that's also a factor in why the Nuggets win.

This is what they need. More aggressiveness on the offensive end because the Nuggets don't actually have a defensive strategy. It's just Christian Braun and Gordon shutting down the OKC shooters, and that's it. All the Nuggets need is to be perfect on their offense, and they might win Game 7 even on the road.

Jokic will be Jokic, even the Thunder have their twin tower, it is differet when the Joker play his game.
What he needs is what he gets. Jokic got his help from his team mate. enough to extend the series for game 7.

This Game 7 will be a head to head game. no one can t make a big mistakes.

But still, i want to see OKC for the conference finals.
Who ever win, they deserve it!

Indeed. The Nuggets puts up a good fight, even after they lost their head coach the team look devastated. I even thought they're not gonna get past the 1st round, but here they are for the 2nd consecutive time being in the game 7. This must be very exhausting run for the Nuggets. If they can win this round, the next one should still be difficult one that it can lead to another full 7 game series lol.
Minnesota will be a good opponent against either the Nuggets and Thunder. Looks like Edward is on a mission this year.

Nuggets won in the end because of Stratwher, they needed a player from a bench to do something to win the game and this guy came and did it. If Jokic gets help from his teammates they can win the NBA . Each time they lose its because only Jokic plays and other guys dont do anything. MPJ is just bad he cant hit anything

Nuggets did it all the way. I thought that they won't have that catch on the 3rd quarter but it all started there. I think the foul trouble also helped them a lot with SGA and that's why they've moved freely when he's out. While the shooting of the OKC was also good, they can't be confident on them even if they're on the lead. Maybe on the game 7, it'll be a different story and what about you people here? are you going to for the OKC or Nuggets at 7? And later, we'll see that Celtics will probably do good even without Tatum.
