I have to say… The fact that SGA now has his name on the list of guys to win a regular season MVP, Finals MVP, & Championship in the same season is one of the biggest travesties in sports statistics. Maybe I’m just a hater, but I didn’t even vote for him to be on the all star team. What a bummer.
He's not likeable but he just proved his worth and himself that he's a real MVP. Since the past seasons, he's been consistent on how he plays and that's why he deserves him. I didn't also voted for him. But with how he plays, that's how he's recognized and maybe this is just the first one that he'll get with the next titles that he'll get with the team. He’s a free throw merchant. Basically the second coming of James Harden. It’s crazy that people voted him the MVP, crazy that his team did so well, and crazy that Haliburton got injured in the first quarter while torching him so his team won the chip. I’ll give him credit. He used the rules to get his team to vastly outperform expectations. I think next year looks a lot different for OKC.

And another “what if” moment in the NBA Finals, again. He was clearly on fire in the first quarter, of all times, it had to happen in Game 7 of the Finals. You could clearly see how Hali felt when he was down on the floor, not just the physical pain, but more so the emotional and mental toll. After this, we don’t know if he will return to playing the same way again.
Anyway, congratulations to OKC. SGA has a lot of haters, but we can’t deny that he deserves the MVP. He’s been consistent throughout the entire season.
He’s just like LeBron who has a lot of haters, but no denying he’s great on his own. The Clippers probably gave up too much for PG, and now seeing how things turned out, they might be regretting that decision. Same with the Lakers, they let go of Caruso who’s been a great defender, and now look they might actually want him back. But anyway, enough of that. OKC deserved this win. They’ve been the number 1 team in the West, especially in defense, so it’s really no surprise they won the championship.

Durant has 2 NBA championships in his career. Both of them with Warriors, back-to-back titles. He couldn't find what he was looking for at Nets and Suns. He is giving it another shot with Rockets now. Why not? Maybe they could be the next champions.
Durant will not win another title unless there is a solid teammate of the same level or around his caliber. It's already proven that Durant can't carry a team. No hate here, just stating facts. Rockets blew that trade. They are a better team compared to the Phoenix Suns with Durant and Booker on board this recent season. Rockets even sacrifice their Top 10 1st Round pick on the next draft for a post-prime Durant. The Top 15 picks of the first round draft, especially at 5th to 15th, at least, are bound to be destined as a scoring machine within 2-3 seasons.

Maybe if Durant returns to the Warriors, they could win another championship. A Butler-for-Durant trade is good if that’s even possible. I think the Warriors would take that deal. I’ve seen enough of Butler. He’s good, no doubt, but he’s not on the same level as Durant. He hasn’t been consistent in the playoffs, and that’s where it really matters.

Truly, the "what ifs" will remain for all the Pacers fans and a lot of NBA enthusiasts. I have thought about that one whole night and was unable to sleep. Haliburton played great in the first quarter before the injury happened, and he is actually aggressive offensively, which is a sign that he will keep on coming to shoot or attack if he wants to. I guess this is not just his season. He tried very hard and even kept on playing even with the injury, but he lacked more time before that foot gave up. Next season will probably not be for the Pacers either. He will rest for a long time to heal that Achilles injury. The same goes with Damian Lillard and Tatum. Those players will probably be out for the whole season. It will be a weak East, and another team from the West might get the championship. Or a chance for the Knicks to win it.

Jrue Holiday was both old and a very high-paid player, I think they made a very smart trade. It's great that the team is younger and has some room in the salary range, it will be very beneficial for the Boston Celtics in the long run. I don't know why Portland wanted Jrue Holiday, Simmons was a good player for the team and contributed a lot to the team. Let's see how he contributes to the team next season

Let's see how he contributes to the team next season I believe the real contribution of Jrue Holiday is his defensive mindset. And IIRC, the Celtics won the championship the season he arrived. so I don’t think trading him is a good idea. They just fell short last season because Tatum got injured. If not, they could’ve won the East and maybe even beaten OKC. I don’t see this move helping the Celtics improve, since they already have enough offensive players like Tatum, Brown, and White. What they need is someone who can focus on defense, and Jrue brings exactly that.

The expected trade of Durant is done... Rockets got: • Kevin DurantSuns got: • Jalen Green• Dillon Brooks• No. 10 pick in this year's draft• 5 second-round picksIs this a good deal for Rockets? I think a good step for playing bigger. Losing Green isn't very ideal maybe but I don't think the same about Brooks. Durant is 36 but still can do pretty good. He is still one of the superstars and can help a great deal for bigger goals. Durant might be 36, but last season, he averaged around 27 PPG with 6 RPG and 5 APG which is for me still all star numbers. Aside from that, the Rockets are at the bottom in terms of 3-pt shooting, and adding a KD on your team significantly increases that one. Another one is that, the Rockets with their old roster doesn't have anybody to rely on in the crucial minutes, and you can't rely on an inconsistent Jalen Green. Now they already have KD who can close games. This is an easy win for the Rockets. The fact that they didn't trade some of their role players like Thompson, Eason, Smith Jr. and others is already a win. They're still one of the best in terms of defense, and their offense just got better. Still a bad idea! a one sided trade. You are tanking for 1-2 years and then KD will be out of the team. KD is fragile and old. He can be on rockets in 1-2 years (lucky if healthy) then he will go find another team if they cant win a chip. or might be his retirement soon . What Rockets gave up? Their future all star and future players. The trade was too much to give. but its a done deal now. Then sent a defensive player and a good teammate on brooks. They gave up 7 yo9ung players also. JG + 6 draft including the number 10.

This is huge gamble for their team especially that Jrue is reliable offensive and defensive player for their team. It will be bad for their team if Anfernee Simons will not fit on their team since letting go of Jrue is total is huge loss for them. I guess they better think about trading Porzingis first since I think they are fine as team without him and they can play small ball the same as before. But well see if this trade would bring something good result for their team.

I don't think the Rockets are that bad in the Durant trade. They sent an unstable scorer like Jalen Green and experienced Dillon Brooks. They didn't give up any of the other pieces that were mentioned when this trade was first rumored. Second round draft picks are unimportant anyway. Durant may be old, but it's wise to combine him with the youngsters Rockets already have. Alperen and Durant will make a good duo. With Eason, Smith and Thompson they will form a very good core and they will play for the title again. They also got rid of Jalen Green's huge contract and got a more accurate scorer. I think it's a good trade for them. Maybe they won't be champions, but they'll still be one of the 3-4 contender teams in the West.

I don’t think there are too many changes in the league that could be made to the Celtics starting 5 that will make them immediately better than they were, they’ve been great simply because of how fluid the teams is, I’m curious whether Afernee Simons would slot right into the starting unit, or Pritchard would be getting bumped up.

The Celtics trade was them waiving the white flag on next season and trying to position themselves to get under the apron and be major players in 26/27. Simons is a sizable expiring deal that can be used to make the money match-up on future deals. This is the Warriors getting back Russell in the KD "trade" to Brooklyn. Neither Jrue, Al nor KP fit their reality at the moment. They have a roster of win now vets on a team who`s best player is out for the entirety of next season and who`s second best player also had a knee surgery.
Can you move KP to the Warriors in a sign and trade for Kuminga and draft capital? Is Fox or Castle going to be available in San Antonio with them adding Harper? A front court with still only 29 year old KP and Wemby is intriguing. Who`s going to have a contract dispute or get disgruntled by the deadline? Will the Bucks blow everything up if they start slow? Miami? New Orleans? Indy? Phoenix? Memphis?
At this point they are operating with the idea that they can put Brown out there for 40 games, give Simons the ultimate green light as you are not counting wins this season and hopefully he can put up huge number on decent splits, bump his stock up for a team that is s better fit and will be willing to part with talent and draft capital to add him. His expiring deal is gold if they can get under the apron.

Pritchard deserves to be the starting line-up and probably the main reason why Celtics is brave to trade Jrue Holiday for a potential bench rebuild with young players. Pritchard is like TJ McConnell of Pacers that full of energy and effort that makes him perfect as starter for Boston. They just need healthy Porzingis and JT in able to become top contender again on the East.

In terms of productivity both stars are good though with chemistry and good blend with Steph, KD might be better as he's consistent if the defense focuses with Curry they can go to KD as their go to guy and he can deliver, unlike with Butler he's not consistent and it affects the team if the defense managed to limit Curry's production. I agree if ever a trade can still be possible bringing KD back might help both sides, KD and the Warriors might win another title..

OKC wasn't a socker, even with Haliburton, I believe OKC was the favourites, a 100% healthy Haliburton would have made a difference of course, and even this way, he started the game good, and the game stayed close for a long time, but that doesn't mean we are seeing anything that bad at the moment, we knew that OKC was normally seen as better.
Haliburton is feeling horrible obviously about what happened, but the worst part is, next season is gone too, and yes testing yourself on the game seven is something players could do, after all you take a risk but you may win the title. But now because of that risk, the whole of next season is gone. It would take him at least 6 months to recover, usually longer, and even year for him to be as good as he used to be. Hell, there is a small chance he may never be as good as he used to be, but he is too young for that.

Not to take away from the Pacers, but yes, many of us here support them as they are a huge underdog, nevertheless, OKC is really that strong and we are surprised to see Indiana holding their own. But I guess when Haliburton was hurt and then a full blown injury in game 7, then it's the end for them.
He just have to stay positive in light of what happened to him. Him and Tatum are the one that we are going to see if they can come back. Oh, and if forget about Kyrie too. They are great players who have made a comeback after they torn their achilles like Durant and Thompson, and so we hope that those who just that injured will be back next year. Although it's painful to see the replay as you can see that his achilles really cave in how many of you did it on replay mode many times?

I have to say… The fact that SGA now has his name on the list of guys to win a regular season MVP, Finals MVP, & Championship in the same season is one of the biggest travesties in sports statistics. Maybe I’m just a hater, but I didn’t even vote for him to be on the all star team. What a bummer.
The main problem with him is, he is a great player but he is not a super star or a super player who deserve to be in that league of huge names of the NBA, but well life has this kind of things. I see OKC dont celebrate so much in the dressroom, and some says it was because of the Haliburton injury in some way to show respect, for me is a silly move you have to celebrate in your own dressroom. I don't know, but they are really that dominant this season, the top team in the NBA and yet they didn't get the recognition that they deserved. Maybe it's because we question SGA and his style of play like trying to flop and get a foul. And I guess we still wanted someone who don't flop and we are jaw dropping in performance in the finals like maybe Giannis against the Suns or Curry's last championship against the Boston. Anyhow, let's see how SGA will maintain his status as the NBA's poster child as now he has a name for himself.

The Boston Celtics are getting a little bit younger by trading Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks according to Shams. Let the trading begin. I’m not sure this makes the Celtics better immediately, but it is probably a good move for the future. Pritchard is too small to be an everyday starter. You just saw what happend in game 7 with McConnell what happens when you have to plug a 25 minute a night guy in as a 38 minute a night guy who`s playing the bulk of his minutes against starters as opposed to back-ups. There`s a reason those guys don`t start. Its not a Spurs situation with Manu who came off the bench but was 2nd or 3rd on the team in minutes played year after year. That was a situation in which if Manu said he wasn`t coming off the bench Pop would have started him. I`d be shocked if they keep Simons. If they can move KP Simons is as good as gone by the deadline. Without Tatum they are not title contenders so they have a gap year to get under the apron, decide if they want they want to do with Brown and try to stock up on draft capital. The biggest question for Boston is: Is Brown a $300,000,000 player? Are we comfortable giving Brown another huge deal?
