Cooper Flagg will easily win the ROY award because he has no competition.
Speaking of Cooper Flagg, his team is playing the Warriors right now and they’re currently down. Let’s see if he can help spark a comeback and steal one against the home team. He’s not really the main go-to guy yet, they still lean on Davis, but with how he’s been playing, you can tell he’s grateful for the opportunity he’s getting.

Winning ROY after that rough start is already a huge achievement for him.

Next season, he should be even more ready.

The Thunder saw themselves as unbeatable, but they've lost 4 of their last 6 games. They lost to the Spurs twice in a row and are now 0-3 against them this season. 3 losses to the Spurs in 2 weeks is just unbelievable. The Spurs have won 8 straight and have closed the gap with the Thunder. They reminded everyone that the NBA is a long 82-game season and nobody should get ahead of themselves too early.

Even though the Thunder look superior against everyone else, constantly losing to the Spurs should worry them when it comes to a Western Conference Finals run. If they can't get past the Spurs, it won't really matter to them who comes out from the East.

The Golden State Warriors are currently in the lead in the 3rd quarter. 75 - 60 is the current score tally but that's not yet the end of the game and there can be a lot of things that could happen.

While the potential ROY award is really on him being the first pick for this season and how he's given a lot of playing time. I think that we might be surprised if we're eyeing on him and the other rookies have won that award.

There are a bunch of other rookies that have shown how good they are but, I guess that it'll still lead to numbers, scores, assists, steals, etc.

Now, they have to rely on Flagg since Davis is out again due to injury. If only Davis were healthy, I think Dallas would have a better standing. Even if they don’t win the title, at least they would have better stats compared to now. Davis is always injured, and Flagg can’t carry the Mavs on his own yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade Davis later on. Even if he is a good player, he’s always injured. They might as well use his value to get a good player in return.

If AD was healthy and especially Kyrie would also be in the lineup this team would rock the league. I mean I have expected a lot from Flagg, saw him playing in highschool and at Duke and this already was very impressive. After a slow start putting up these huge numbers as a rookie really is crazy. And don't forget the kind of teams they beat in recent weeks!

Spurs versus OKC was another great game tonight. Seems like San Antonio really has found the magic cheat code against this dominating OKC team beating them for the 3rd time in only 2 weeks, and twice in Oklahoma city!! Actually crazy that with only 5 losses in 31 games 3 of those losses come against the same team. The hunt for the best record in history seems already over now.

Well, I guess it is official, the Spurs are the OKC's kryptonite. While this another lose coming from a team who beat them three times out of their five losses is unacceptable for them, but for the Spurs, it's a sign of life of a great upcoming playoff run on their end.
This match up will be a good one if they meet in WCF.

On the other end, the Lakers continue to struggle against the Rockets tonight. They are about to have their 3rd consecutive losses tonight, being down almost 20 with just 4 mins left on the game clock.

Yeah, there have been a lot of discussions about how the Spurs beat the best team in the NBA easily as if they have some secret weapons against the OKC. But I guess the Spurs is very complete, they have guards and shooting guards that is very hard to beat as they are very quick. And definitely, the Alien, who can score from any angle and then block shots.

Just another rough night for them, even if Luka come back to the line-up, they seems to struggle against the Rockets. While Durant and Amen Thompson again leading the Rockets as they got back from W column.

SPurs is a nightmare for the Thunders and this is a must to address how to overcome this team. They cant get a chip ifthis will continue.
Wemby is the main problem on this, and they have Chet the number 1 solution on their problem, but they need to figure out how. Alien making the Oklahoma people suffer.

San Antonio defeated Oklahoma twice in two days. Their first victory came at home with a 20-point margin. This time, they won on the road by 15 points, 102-117. These wins, in my opinion, send a message to the reigning champions.
Shai scored under 30 points in this game. Usually scoring 30 or more points, Shai only managed 22 in this match. Meanwhile, Houston comfortably defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 96-119 to conclude their road trip with a victory.

About that Spurs win, all I can say is Fox is a real monster once he finds his rhythm. With Wemby around, he doesn't have to fear missing a shot. Keep the shooting volume up. There will be a shot for a second chance when Wemby takes the offensive rebound. So, all he has to do is keep on shooting and be confident that someone is there to save it in case it misses.

Spurs has now become both an offensive and defensive team. All they need is to strengthen their chemistry, and they will probably end up in the title now or in the next few years. Fox + Wemby is a great combo.

For real, it seems the Spurs are the nemesis of the Thunder. SGA only scored 22 points this time. The next highest scorer for them had just 13 points. The Thunder now have 5 losses, and we haven’t even reached half of the season yet. It seems they can’t break the Warriors’ record. They still have 2 games left against the Spurs, and if they face the Spurs in the playoffs, they might even lose. Even if we say the playoffs are different, the fact that the Spurs have beaten them three times in a row means the Spurs still stand a chance.

Meanwhile, Houston comfortably defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 96-119 to conclude their road trip with a victory.

Rockets handled the Lakers way easier than I expected. By the way Sheppard has zero floor general vision. He’s a bucket for sure but he’s nowhere near being a playmaker, at least for now. He’s got tunnel vision for the rim and only kicks it out when he’s stuck. As long as he puts up numbers, people might look past it but the Rockets are in trouble until FVV gets back.

Their chemistry is already strong, even second stringer like Cornett was able to find his place in this Spurs team as he got a lot of assists and easy points in the paint thru alley-oop pass. And as what you mentioned, when Fox, feels it, hard for him to missed shots all night.

So they are in a complete package now, they have a good shooting player and even have the second pick in Harper who can only impact the game when he is inside. And probably this is one reason why the Thunder had a hard time beating a complete team like the Spurs.

I expected Houston to lose, but they easily beat the Los Angeles Lakers.
I'm noticing a significant drop in Alperen's scoring contribution. His name was mentioned in trade rumors. When asked about the trade, he said he wasn't affected and was having a good season, but I think he was negatively impacted. He scored very few points in away games.

He played 31 minutes in the Los Angeles Lakers game, but I think his scoring contribution was minimal. With this win, Houston has won two out of six away games.

Spurs have become Oklahoma’s biggest nightmare. They faced each other three times in December and Spurs won all three games.
Oklahoma, a team we expected to break records this season, has already suffered 5 losses.
Spurs prepare very well for games against Oklahoma and manage to dominate them.

Houston, led by Alperen Şengün, defeated the Lakers 119–96. They had lost their previous two games, so this win was an important one for Houston.

I think there has been a talk between Alperen his teammates and the coach. Especially because of Fred's injury, Alperen was organizing the offense, handling the ball both at the top of the key and in the post while simultaneously producing points, assists and rebounds.
Imo perhaps at KD’s request, Udoka is trying to pull Alperen back into a more classic center role.

For winning second time on OKC it really means that Spurs is really a strong team. Also a new rivalry has been created after that second match happen since for sure that many fans will provably look forwards to see their next game if OKC will get their revenge against Spurs which defeat them for second time.

Yeah for sure Spurs really prepared for this because we see them doing good and limit the productions done by OKC. This one makes young spurs looks promising and let see if they can able to win more games. I think they are sure to get a spot on playoffs and lets see if they can advance or get choked by their opponent.

Udoka always tries to hold the players responsible for every loss and i really dislike this habbit of him. He needs to accept that he is just as much at fault as the players are. Blaming the players is the easy way out. In every defeat, he finds a different player to blame. one day it’s Alperen for missing the final shot, another day it’s Kevin Durant not taking responsibility, or the rookie Sheppard failing to hit his shots or it’s Fred VanVleet’s injury. The reality is that the team is in a major slump and instead of pulling them together, the coach is killing their motivation. In the last game not even putting Alperen and KD on the floor during the fourth quarter will definitely have a negative impact on the players.
It's the minutes man, it's so clear. I do not know why, maybe he lost some players to injury before or something, or maybe it's Pop that rested even Tim Duncan back in the day which made Udoka be like this, after all he is pupil of Greg Pop and that means he learned resting from him.

So the moment Rockets look like they will win, he takes out ALL good players, and suddenly the bench is playing "garbage time" at third quarter. That's now how it works, if you want to rest players, you gotta wait until last quarter and even more.

Denver had built a great lead in the third quarter, but Minnesota played a fantastic fourth quarter and took the game to overtime. 115-115
Jokic, as we know, got another triple-double and is taking his performance to an even higher level. If the game goes to overtime again, Jokic could break his career record.

I was surprised Oklahoma lost to San Antonio for the second time.
SGA was a bit ineffective in terms of scoring in this game.

Sometimes games like that happen.

Houston beat the Los Angeles Lakers. Doncic seemed to have lost some concentration after going back and forth to his hometown.

Maybe it's just me.
