What a crazy performance by Jokic but when i say crazy is crazy for everyone but not for him, i mean he is making triples doubles like nothing he is a super high level. I really think he is gonna break some records which a few time back we thinked they were impossible to broke.

For me he is the best, Shai can be a machine but is a step down.

Rockets really needed this kind of a big win after a series of poor results. I wasn't expecting the gap to be this big though. Because Doncic was back and Reaves was also able to play. But Reaves were given chance for only 15 minutes.

Even if he played as much as Doncic - LeBron probably the result was still going to be a loss... Rockets are a better team than Lakers already. In playoffs Rockets can do better than them. Regular season shouldn't be deceiving.

JJ went crazy after the game. He was talking about how the next Lakers practice is going to get very uncomfortable. I’m not even 100% sure what the issue is, but something is clearly going on.

That was one heck of a Christmas special game in Denver. Edwards was so hot in those last minutes of the 4th quarter, playing like a superstar. But then it all went wrong in overtime.

They are still good and can probably get it back, but technicals happened, and it became too emotional for them. The Timberwolves could've won because they actually have the upper hand even at the first 2-3 minutes of OT. It's just that they let Jokic go wild, too. That man can go crazy if given a chance. He found openings to shoot a three, and many of them went in. Truly, it's difficult to play against a genius in basketball, and he even made a record on Christmas stats, lining up with the great Wilt and more.

They have not yet updated it, but Jokic will be there.

Currently the Western Conference is much more capable than the Eastern in playoffs. It is clearly seen. I mean in the Eastern there is only Knicks that can do something really good. I'm not sure about Pistons despite their regular season effort.

I would like to say Celtics too but in Tatum's absence it looks quite difficult. Jaylen Brown can't carry forever. Things are much more positive on the Western side. There are a few teams who are serious candidates for the championship.

But let's see if Thunder retain their title. After seeing Spurs beating them 3 times this season things have got more interesting.

Jokic with a 56-16-15 statline. I have not seen such a dominant game from anyone in a long time, can't even think of a single person in the league who realistically could do this at the moment, he might be the only person in all of the NBA who could have this type of stats.

Normally when someone scores that much, assisting that much is not easy and would make it very hard, but he manages to rebound so well, score so easy and not only that but passes out to his teammates when he should at the right times as well. Not easy to find a player like that. MVP for sure, but we need to realize that sometimes things aren't always as easy and he may not get the MVP win that he deserves so much, there is a fatigue for it, but I would vote for him if I could.

Jokic set another record that will be talked about for years to come. Scoring 56 points and making 15 assists on Christmas Day is incredible. He directed almost every offensive play for his team.
No one in history had ever achieved 55-15-15 before. Jokic played with 56-16-15. He also broke the record in overtime by scoring 18 points (Previous was 17).
Despite scoring 44 points, Edwards was overshadowed by Jokic's extraordinary performance.

Chicago started the season very well. Then they had a losing streak. Then they seemed to recover. Then they had another losing streak. In the last 10 days, they have won 5 games. They defeated Cleveland in two consecutive games (both at home and away).
They defeated Atlanta in both away games.
Tonight they also defeated Philadelphia and achieved a 5-game winning streak. The next game will be against Milwaukee and Chicago will most likely win that game as well, extending the streak to 6 games.

At one point they are on the top of the standings in the East, and we thought that they are for real until they've got into a losing streak and having a hard time to recover as they are very inconsistent. Pistons still leads the East, even if they've lost a game tonight against the Jazz in a very close game. And so I consider this a a big upset. Cade tie the score with Keyonte George with that dagger floater. But he left a couple of seconds in the shot cut. However, Cade missed a desperation 3 that could have force the game into overtime. Watch out for Keyonte as he has been clutch this season for the Jazz.

The Lakers chemistry is still a work in progress. They still need time. They are lucky because the first 29 games of the schedule were easy. The schedule really helped them so their bad performance didn't attract much attention. But especially the defense is really weak. There is no defensive players in the starting five.

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted my hometown team to lose before, but I just plain don’t like this Phoenix Suns roster. I’m looking forward to the post-Booker era and wish they would trade him for a more likable superstar. Would love to see Brooks elsewhere too.

Clippers have won three games in a row and are about to embark on a five-game home run. Their first game is against Detroit, and their final is against Golden State.

If they win both of those games, the Los Angeles Clippers could become strong contenders.
In their three-game winning streak, they beat Houston and the Lakers.

I'll be watching to see what happens in the five-game series.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Clippers perform, as I see them as an experienced team.

I had called Phoenix Suns the weak link before the season started. I'm taking my words back for now. They have been a pleasant surprise for me this season. If they keep up this form, they can probably make the play ins and advance to the playoffs from there. Lets see.
