beagle bone compile succeeded but it dies on "loading wallet" checked dmesg /var/log/syslog not a thing

used git master switching now to official stable release

if you run master node on beagle (fun little device) please ping me/us yet another device enabled (if we can)

nice write up by Mr cryptoclub there, it is all true

I don;t know who grabbed bytecoin (and hiding it that one did till later block explorer so much work done in developing and more envisioning it! (they did crypto night also that is, kid of dumb on strategy brilliant on innovation) in millions but yeah... tough one to continue on that one , also only once quantum cryptology proof is developed nothing in crypto is safe.. I feel SHA-256 might be (no one really knows why it works the way it does +chaos attractors in it)

Oh I just checked again now its gone back up to 14 cents! it was 10 cents a minute ago....

Anyway i'm going to bed now, when I wake up in the morning i want to see it at 7 cents Smiley (and it needs to stay there long enough for me to get my 10,000)

Thanks.

you guys are shit. nothing but a bunch of kids playing in a adult world. you have no project, no answers and a bunch of assholes on slack that can't answer a question.

My experience has been completely opposite, the devs here have been very helpful and post updates regularly.

Even when criticized about the name change, they gave me a good answer and respectful.

I've been holding since DNET times so what are you talking about  Huh Huh

That is why I bought in. People talking about copy paste coins that don't bother looking at the Github have no idea what they are talking about. Litecoin was a clone, a clone of Fairbrix, that was based on Tenebrix. It was the 3rd version that really became the gold standard. Bytecoin had awesome tech, but a shady past and it was not fair, Monero cloned and improved it, they are now the real Darkcoin, actually being used on the largest Darkmarket in the Deep Web. Yes, I also like that it is cheap, I love that I see constant updates on Github. Everything I am seeing shows this as a good option to diversify into. Never all in, but part of a balanced portfolio.

edit: If you check my signature, everyone that wants to can join the CCC, it is a great Alt Group, Free, the most popular on Facebook, which is the most popular social network. It is a no FUD zone, but people are free to promote legit projects there. Looks like a lot of people think PIVX is pretty cool.

have exact same strategy , and will take you on the offer to join your club, crypto is a fun tech to be in it juust for the money ? eh...  and so I refuse to participate in trading games.. what happened here are these master nodes sells so that depleted the network, but I refuse to be part of it lol. let others sell to others, would be better if the network grows to like 5000, 10,000 nodes, the more the stronger the network the higher price.. not even new exchanges will be as positive to price movement as this

For those haven't seen it yet or are NEW to PIVX. Please feel free to take a look at this summary I wrote up about PIVX in general.
Marketing team uses this for a lot of their content so I am trying to keep it honest and technically accurate so all is on same page.

Well you have all let me down lol.

Going to have to come up with some other method.

Maybe I can put my skills as a postie to work for the Pivx team delivering junk mail in my local area but I am not sure the coin is ready for that type of marketing yet (still too hard for the average joe to buy)

Easiest option might be to try get more money out of the wife Smiley

Hi

This did bring up a question for me actually, I didnt know we could "stake wallet". Maybe I dont need to encourage everyone to dump Pivx so I can afford a masternode.

If I have 10,000 pivx in a staked wallet vs 10,000 pivx in a master node, what would the income difference be? (or, 10,000 in a master node, 5000 in a staked wallet? ie, coin for coin what is the difference in earning?)

Also, I would like to offer my input about something at the start of the document:

Quote
PIVX  believe strongly about having an inclusive governance by the community. Thus PIVX is currently (as of March 2017) in the discussion phase on how to further improve the current masternode voting system to allow non-masternode PIVX holders to also be part of the decision making process and usage of its block reward budget. PIVX has already had numerous publicly viewable live meetings regarding this topic and will continue to do so until a solution is devised and implemented.

I dont think non-masternode holders need to have a "vote" per say, as they are not invested enough in the currency. They can still provide their input via forums etc, but I dont believe people with too little invested should have a direct vote so to speak. It would be kinda like me voting on the US president when I live in Australia. Yes the decision affects me a bit, but, I dont have enough at stake to have a vote.

I think non-masternode holders should be able to make use of the 10% budget however, all you should need is a wallet and a pitch for that. I think the dash system of requiring a certain ammount of Dash to be able to make a proposal is a good system, though the amount needs to vary based on the coin price not be hard coded. Perhaps every month a vote could be had for the price to submit a proposal for the next month or something?

Just my 2c.

Yeah I hope so. I have 2 alts currently, Dash and Monero, one is going down, the other up.

Obviously before I sell I want everything to go up but I dont intend to sell any time soon.

The rewards vary, but from personal experience having exactly 50% of my pivx in masternodes,
you get almost the same rewards recently, with masternodes rewarding slightly more.

I would get 30 - 50 % more stakes than masternode reward payouts a day, but stakes being 80% of the masternode payout.
So staking is providing a nice return with the current masternode numbers.

Just another suggestion,

Maybe it would be an idea to update the wallet every month or so with the blockchain so that we dont have to wait for it to update a years worth of transaction or do the additional download steps when getting a new wallet?

I have a feeling if it was possible you may already do it, so maybe that's not technically possible, but if it is I think it would be worth the effort.

Also, what is the smallest unit of PIVX? .00000001?

And finally I believe my receive address is DQYhoJ5EvmKYCpzGsV1kfMw1Xm35ssaF3b

Can someone send me a tiny little bit just so I know its working please?

Not sure what you mean by the wallet update.
You don't have to resync your blockchain when you upgrade the wallet to the newer version.

Smalled unit of PIVX is 0.0000001 PIV (PIVX unit is called PIV)

As for some PIV, if you join our slack, I could tip you a PIV that you can withdraw to your wallet. (slack.pivx.org)

I have two more questions Smiley

1. How big is the team?
2. Are any funds being set aside for development?

Thanks
