@nicehash

and also a way to change --temp-target for sgminer.. it seems to be hard coded to 75 so adding it in the extra parameters doesnt change it.

Yes, this is a big problem ! Some of my cards works with only 85-100% fan speeds, below that the fans dont spin and my cards are overheating ... Sad

Hello,

I have a ASICMiner Block Erupter Cube (http://bitcoinrigs.org/product/asicminer-block-erupter-cube/) Can I use this with NiceHash Miner and would this be profitable?

Thanks for replies!

Is it switching between Ethereum and X11 when one of them is more profitable ? Or we need to run the Eth miner manual ?

yes it auto switches based on your benchmark speed.. if you dont want it to just uncheck the boxes of the ones you dont want to mine.
altho right now x11 is WAY up compared to eth..

im not sure what you are trying to do. the nicehash miner doesnt really mine bitcoin.. it sells your mining hash for bitcoin.. you dont really get to choose what coin you are mining. it does try to pick the most profitable algorithm.

yeah i cant find any work around.. at least not an automatic one..

i hope they listen and make it so you can change the --temp-target manually.
id also like some form of minimum rate i can put in so it stops mining if it falls below.. that way im not wasting money in electricity when the coins arent profitable.

i hope they listen and make it so you can change the --temp-target manually.

You can already do it:
- set DisableAMDTempControl
- add --temp-target in config.json at each AMD algoritm

id also like some form of minimum rate i can put in so it stops mining if it falls below.. that way im not wasting money in electricity when the coins arent profitable.

Already working on this, will be in one of the future versions.

Thanks for the feedback and if you have any other ideas just write them down here (although we can't promise that we'll implement everything, but we'll do our best, as always Wink ).

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

Miner (X11) constantly gets stuck on getting work. Not on every rig, but a lot!

Lowering intensity helps a little, but eventually hangs as well.

That's what happens when using a hack... :s

Hello!

There is problem between Hawaii (r9 290x) and Tonga (r9 380x) cards. When i remove Tonga card from my pc then nicehashminer chooses sgminer 5.1 and doing 16 mh/s x11 algo. but when i install 2nd card (Tonga) then miner chooses sgminer 5.3 and my hawaii does only 3.5mh/s and Tonga does 9mh/s x11 algo. Why is that so? Hawaii is my primary card.

When only Hawaii, Tahiti and Pitcairn are in the system, NHM can use optimized sgminer. However, optimized sgminer is not compatible with Tonga cards, therefore when running system with mixed cards, NHM fails back to default, non-optimized sgminer.
