hillo guys newbie in GPU mining i have a question i hope someboday can answer me because i want to mine my GPU for nice hash but i cant use my GPU do you guys what is the problem of this? im using NVIDIA GT 220  do you think this GPU can use for mining? i try to bencemark but it ddnt sync to nice hash i was hoping that you can help me i want to earn some bitcoin using my computer thank you so much i was waiting for all your advice guys thank you
sorry to say your gpu is much too old and inefficient to use for mining
you would need to research on this board (mining altcoins!) which gpu to invest in (maybe the gtx 1050 for you i don't know)
https://new.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator/nvidia-gtx-1050?e=0.1&currency=USD
but look, some say this mining wave may be thinning out soon

Could someone give me a pointer to explanation/tutorial of who actually buys all this hashing power of NiceHash sellers? It cant be a cloud mining service as it cant be profitable for the buyer and most cloud mining services are ponzi schemes (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0).
https://new.nicehash.com/help/why-would-someone-buy-hashing-power
basically, research or pumping dodgy coins

- it already does, unless VEGA comes out nicely or VOLTA which will give it some juice, we will see... i give it until the end of the August beginning of September...time will show.

p.s. it is probably wise to look in to an AMD/NVDA stock and make a quick buck on it. AMD will report earnings on 31 of july, so some time to setup an account and buy it, as it will fly high, due to being sold out everywhere (beats sale expectations) plus APPLE has ordered a whole bunch of chips from them for their new mac series computers that will show up in the fall. Join the train before its too late.

I am "only" earning 4.28 euros a day. Can someone give me some pointers on how to earn more?

Have you benchmarked and enabled all algorithms?

Yes. I must say that I played around with overclocking. I used the ASUS Tweak II app, and I'm now getting 6 - 6,15 euros a day. That's better, right? CPU temp at 41-42 degrees C, GPU at 59-60 degrees C.

Is it possible to "override" the benchmarked speed results in order to get even better results??

Yes, it's possible in the 1.7.12 or what is the number. Just select radio button that says benchmark already benchmarked algos.

And then you just enter whatever you want??

And then you just enter whatever you want??

No, it will then re-run benchmark with your current GPU settings and save new values.

Very rarely does a company make their products worse. Nicehash, you have accomplished this task. The new website is horrible. logouts, slow refresh, layout, colors. The new nicehash software is also just as bad. congrats.

Totally worth it, now hitting 7+ eur a day and relatively staying cool (41 C° CPU, 59°C GPU). Thanks!

Can anybody tell me if everyone should re-run benchmarks once in a while, like after difficulty increase? If NiceHash is switching algos based on benched profitability, the values may be false after a while, or I'm mistaken?

also, by your screenshot are you at 50% power?  the ti can go to 70% for max hash usually, try that? Smiley  (i own several ti's)

no, i am using afterburner ,  it just always seems to be the most useable for my rigs  (also i dont have asus ti's)
My temps are never more than 60 degrees, even on zcash, usually 50, but i keep my fans at a static 80-85%
i feel its better to burn out a fan and replace one, then a chip on the GPU! ;p

my trick is just to hunt everyday ;p  it is what it is, theres no magic formula Sad

Good Luck!

Where do you find replacement fans? I have MSI RX 480 4G, but I haven't seen to buy replacement fans.

How to do that using NiceHash's Miner 1.7.5.12?

You can't Smiley   NIcehash Miner is a sweet tool, dont get me wrong, but they will always struggle even being top 5 most profitable daily . And thats simply because: it always pay's more to do something yourself.
Nicehash finds you a buyer, Pays you PPS every single share, runs a wallet you can use, and makes it all available, puts cash in your pocket with "one-click" -- there's a fee for this service as you can imagine Cheesy

Nicehash,

Happy user here =)

I am wondering when we may get a dual-mining for nVidia capable update.

I have both AMD & nVidia systems running on NiceHash... soon to be a total of 100 GPUs within 1-2 weeks actually!
