Nicehash -Team,

Just a little feedback on your new cryptonight miner from github (i didn't want to create an account there just for feedback):

https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases/download/1.7.0.0-dev/ccminer_cryptonight_new.zip

This version did not solve the benchmarking/mining problem on my tiny 750ti!
It still crashes the nvidia kernel driver.

Regards, djoser.

No, we're not planing to update the NiceHash Miner yet.

OK.
But I want to define these patterns. Where do i change in your program in claymore zcash?

I want to use -i 8

AMD ClaymoreZcash Equihash

-i (if not set default 4 or ignored if unused)

I would like to know where I set the gpus fans because everything is automatic and I like to work with them 100%.

MSI Afterburner, set up a custom fan profile.
Also a very good choice under WIndows to handle overclocking, undervolting, and setting power limit.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

one thing i've noticed, is that it doesn't choose the correct -a parameter for Claymore's Cryptonight for 290x and RX series of cards for benching and mining.  it always chooses -a 1... i had to put in -a 4 for my cards so that it would mine the correct parameter (i.e. higher hashrate for that parameter)

but it seems like it benches with -a 0.. or whatever it benches with... I've been getting better results with setting either -a 1 or -a 4 for my cards.

is there a possibility of getting 3rd party cpu miners add?

Please stop assigning random -mport numbers so that we can use claymore's ethman to remote monitor the rigs

or let us assign our own -mport number

NiceHash Miner v1.7.4.1

Download:
https://www.nicehash.com/?p=nhmintro

Changes:

i'll get the same error with daggerhashimoto also

error just showed up in equihash (eqm.  GTX1070), so it's not a specific hash algorythm problem, but the nicehash miner itself.

Try downloading this patch and replace it with the old one in NiceHashMiner_v1.7.4.1 folder.

just completed on all systems.  will post update on the systems 12 hours from now.

We're paying claymores full DevFee and getting a stripped down, clunky, featureless version of Claymores miners

So much easier to use his full versions.

Try downloading this patch and replace it with the old one in NiceHashMiner_v1.7.4.1 folder.

7 systems it runs fine... even a system with a couple ATI 5850 set at -a 3 for cryptonight.

one system however, which is my main system, it literally shuts the system down after a couple hours.  as in, it turns off the power... i.e. hard shutdown.

it's a mixed system with one GTX 170, one RX 470 and two 290X.  Windows 10, amd drivers 16.12.2 and nvidia drivers 376.33.
system runs flawlessly with NiceHash Miner version 1.7.3.12.

I have eqm v0.4c and claymore zcash 11.1 dropped in their perspective folders of version 1.7.3.12.
and my monitor (Dell 30in ultra with DVI-D) is hooked up to the GTX1070.

however, when i run NiceHash Miner 1.7.4.0 and 1.7.4.1 (1.7.4.x dropped into 1.7.4.0), the system just shuts off randomly while mining.
Also, if i turn the monitor off then turn the monitor back on later, the monitor blanks out a few times in about 5 seconds before staying on steady.  MSI afterburner will show usage drops during this time.

this only happens with 1.7.4.0(x)... the problem is non-existent in 1.7.3.12

trying the new version with my rx470s and some reason cryptonight is about half the speed of the benchmark..
the benchmark showing 570ish per card, but when it mines i only get 250ish per card..

In NiceHash Miner desktop app asks only for a Bitcoin wallet

With CPU mining I would like to keep Monero and not having them into Bitcoin.
Is this doable?

Also, does the option exist on having the desktop app running in several PC's under the same account/wallet so to combine the H/s (as minergate has)
