should i buy this coin? it seems the hype is gone and only poloniex can bring it back. Why should i buy this coin, any reasons?
No, YOU should not buy this coin. Drago, I don't see, why YOU should be important enough to hold this coin. Is there any good reason, why YOU should buy this coin?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Price is looking pretty good in my opinion. The first hype was not followed by a large dump, only by a little profit taking. Still most airdrop receivers are holding all their coins (Me not, I confess , but I conserve some). And now we're looking up again. For me, 0.01 BTC is reachable within the next months, but not much more. You cannot compare DCR with ETH because the hype around ETH is stronge, because its "benefits" are more easily to understand than Decred's. Many people understand basically what a "turing-complete language" for smart contracts means and that it's something new and interesting, but if it's really useful (e.g. considering blockchain maintenance costs) is another question. It's also a bit older. I'm not against ETH, I'm observing it with interest, but I still have doubts. 0.01 BTC seems like an arbitrary figure: circa $4M MC (must be one of those spectacular x3 pumps we always hear about ). That would put it on a par with a whole host of shitcoins. Eth MC $760M. As you say, it's not competing with ETH at this early stage, but MC will be much higher than the mediocre category of shitcoin that you seem to place it in, and probably much sooner. Why do u think this? im trying to figure why i should buy it? Look who the devs are dude. Look at their previous development for Bitcoin, conferences they spoke at etc. Look at their efforts to decentralize development and governance of DCR: it's a sign of a much bigger project that will unfold. Do you think they will visit conference to talk about Decred?

Mainnet stake pool is live! Announcement is here. That's an AWESOME announcement ! This will be a pleasure for me to participate in it with my modest stake ! It seems that you're looking for pool operators. Could you tell us more about it here ? Also, I'd like to know, do I need to have an updated command-line based wallet that contain my funds on my computer in order to use the staking pool system ?
