I pushed the source to github: https://github.com/Optiminer/hodlminer-wolfIt contains SHA512 for both AVX and AVX2 but chooses one or the other at compile time. Ideally, it would detect at runtime which is supported and use the corresponding one. I get about 370 hash/s on my core i7-4770S. Very impressive! I will be releasing an updated version of cpuminer-opt shortly with your improvements. Sir is it possible to get a full set of instructions for running the cpu miner. like for basic computer user. instructions for Solo mining AMD chip. 3.3 8 core. could you point me in the right direction. I plan to open a new mining pool next week that mines blocks to the miner address directly once they accumulated 50 hodls. I will also publish the source code of a modified wolf-miner that increases hash rate by >100% for CPUs with AES and AVX2. Let's keep the coin alive! Any progress? Fascinated to see if you can get these performance improvements. I'd like to integrate the code into the wallet miner if possible. I pushed the source to github: https://github.com/Optiminer/hodlminer-wolfIt contains SHA512 for both AVX and AVX2 but chooses one or the other at compile time. That's really terrific - I'd really like to see this code integrated with the wallet. The reason is that the pool + cpu/wolf miner model leads to a loss of decentralization and dumping. While I think the dumping is under control now with the hodlminer restrictions, we'd still see the loss of decentralization - so I favor the solo miner model, especially at the moment when it is so easy to pull in a block. I had a go at integrating Wolf's miners a few weeks ago myself, but was unsuccessful. I couldn't get it to compile. One possible route may be to compile in all the optimizations, and either autodetect them at runtime, or let the user specify which ones to try using in the config/command line.

Will it work with wallet GBT?

I will provide more detailed instructions once the pool is fully operating. I hope some dev can provide a binary of the miner for windows until then.
The miner only works with pools, it has never done so mining directly against hodlcoind. Probably because of the modifications to getblocktemplate that were needed for hodl from the original bitcoin daemon.

i would love to see the pool src being on github somewhere in the future, but with most pools this seems unlikely due to profit loss br

Is there a compiled version for Windows 8.1 64-bit that I can download and test it? Thanks in advance...

Shame on you all Also don't trade on YoBit - it's not clear they can meet their obligations. If you have funds there, you can send a message to their support with your HODL address and ask them to process a manual withdrawal of your funds. They're pretty flaky so it can take some persistence.
