Religion of Islam is quite peaceful by itself. Though of course there are militant notes in The Quran and the teachings of his expositors. I really like the teachings of Islam, almost all but holy wars for faith.

I think many people who live in Islamic coutries dream every day to live in diffrent culture. And they hate to live in such a conservative environment. Remember that for example AlKaida or ISIS kill many muslim people who say no to they rules.

Their solution is not to leave their land, and bring medieval attitudes elsewhere, but to leave the mental attitudes and cultural backwardness which creates the problem they suffer under.

At the moment accent is on Muslims, yes. But tell me this. How much people was killed by inquisition from Catholic Church? There are horror done by all of mankind all over the world, and if we doesnt know about it, it doesnt mean its not happening. Dont trust so much in media this days, coz they show what they want you to know or think you know. I have meet some muslim people and i can say they are good people, even maybe better than some other non muslim that i know. Its not religion of there that is problem, its the people that are prepared to do drastic things for something they "think" its right. And after that is all psychology, and i dont want to go that far...

The Mongols were originally shamanists, and not Muslims. Some of the descendants of these Mongols adopted Islam, starting from the 14th century. Many of the Mongol groups are still non-Muslim (perhaps a majority of them).

Most of Europe was converted to Christianity with sword and fire.  But I agree, no other cult can compete with Islam in the death department.

I hate Muslims for what they do not know how to communicate with people. Islam is a religion that does not tolerate dissent and is very aggressive to people of other faith. Attempts by terrorists to destabilize the situation in countries with other dominant religion confirmation of this.

That is simply not true.  Most non-Muslims hate Muslims.

You guys are all responsible for what your radicals are doing.  Your book is responsible, your Muhammad is responsible, your fucking Allah is responsible.  So stop playing innocent, peaceful Muslim.  Deep down you hate Western way of life and you want to establish Sharia Law everywhere.  So stop pretending. Both non-Muslims and ex-Muslims everywhere know your game plan.

I have seen some comments here and many who hate Muslims for terrorist acts, there is no tolerance, etc. I think it is not the fault of Muslims, but the fault of those who "confessed" Muslims. Because Islam itself is very like peace. I believe all religions are true because the religion revealed by God through His prophet, as well as Islam. But many people who "confessed" Muslims to use religion to oppress, get power, or personal and group interests. It was very wrong in my opinion. Not only Muslims but people who "confessed" other religions also do it. Maybe if you hate, do not ever hates his religion or followers, but people do it.

yeah times then are a lot different from the times now so i think comparing the numbers would be irrelevant. although i think there's a point in comparing the concept. i don't think muslems should be singled out as the religion of violence and there are a lot of good people from islam that doesn't share the views of some fanatics and extremists. we don't generalize christians during the inquisition so i think it's wrong to generalize muslems with how these terrorists are acting today. even today there are christians who do terrible things but we don't base our judgement of christianity entirely on their actions as there are far more better christians as well. i think it should be the same as well with how we look at our muslim brothers and sisters
