when do u think XVG will seriously start going up?

alts go down when bitcoin rises, they tend to go back up when bitcoin goes down or stabilizes.

so basically it's so difficult  Smiley

I agree with Dogedarkdev. It is how he said. I am wondering why not everybody by now understands that pattern. It is always the same. Just expect alts to drop when BTC is rising / about to rise.

no one here is psychic. alts go down when bitcoin rises, they tend to go back up when bitcoin goes down or stabilizes.

technically it's up 20% from yesterday, so...

Verge game is giving an error "Verge Game is giving me error.. ECONNREFUSED"

Is it possible to somebody delete coins from the Verge blockchain to decrease circulating coins? when I say "somebody" I mean developers.. Im asking cause I think there's a lot of coins circulating and will be hard to price to be high with that much coins..

This question has been asked before, The Devs will not do this.
There's a high supply so verge can actually be used as a currency.

"Verge maximum supply is fixed and amounts to 16.5 billion coins. Such supply allows for fairer distribution, prevents market - manipulation to a great extent and makes Verge suitable for regular payments."

there's quite a few coins with infinite supplies, and we have a fixed supply, so i don't think the number of coins will be an issue.

I think it is all about how popular you can make Verge. But I also see that some coins with a large number of coins are so cheap that some people don't take it seriously... What's your opinion about that?

Hello - this is my first post on this forum  Cool

I am trying to mine VERGE XVG on ethos. I have updated to ccminer 2.2.2 and use NVIDIA GTX 1060's

However - I get the following message -  any help would be appreciated

RPC problem. Probably couldn't connect. Retrying in 2s
Getting work package...
Failed to submit hashrate
Dynamic exception type: jsonrpc::JsonRpcException
std::exception::what: Exception -32003 : Client connector error: lib curl error :7 -> Could not connect to http://127.0.0.1:8080/MyMiner

Anyone maybe know what I am doing wrong or can someone point me in a direction on how to setup the ccminer for Verge on ethos?

Help would be greatly appreciated

Hey guys 2 questions.

1: Whats going on with the markets falling so low?

2: Is bittrex closing its US market and if so is that the reason for the drop?
1. Yes, there is a BTC fork so almost every altcoin tanking.

2. Could be, some users refuse to verify their account because of many reasons.

8080 isn't the rpc port, it's 20102. but also, i'm not sure why it's even saying http://127.0.0.1:8080/MyMiner, is this some sort of gui you set up for the miner?

Thanks for the reply.

I am also confused by the local 127.0.0.1 address - seems like it wants to send the hash rate there.

This is my local.conf file on ethos :

maxgputemp 85
globalminer ccminer -a myr-gr
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet {mywallet}
proxypool1 stratum+tcp//xvg-mine.idcray.com:10061 -u myusername.minername -p my password
global fan 85

what am I missing ?

i don't run ethos, but off the bat, you are missing a : between tcp and //   it should look like this:
stratum+tcp://xvg-mine.idcray.com:10061

Ok don't worry - I got it figured out. Mining on Umine.org using X17 - will monitor and see how things go.

Thanks - actually the problem was that the "stratumproxy enabled" section automatically adds the stratum+tcp:// to your proxypool1 value.
So I just removed the  stratum+tcp:// and things started working.

Thanks for the help.

I have bought 1 mil xvg coins before the fork of bitcoin at 76sats and I believe all VXG investors are interested in the outstanding specifications from famous Dev . I'm sure that Someday XVG coin will become XRP at the present and now I'm waiting this fact happening in the near future. I usually use my profits from trading to invest to XVG coin whenever the price is deeply down and that's my long-term investment as like as bitcoin investment.
