I found no new blake-blocks in last days block history. But the difficulty for blake is extremly high. It's strange. Are there any active miners for BLAKE2S?

I think you should invest some money to this coin at this time because it's very cheap now compared with mining it and you can hold it for a while .
The potential of XVG is quite big  and with a professional Dev then you should not miss this chance.

Thanks, good explanation. Hopefully 2018 will be a good year for XVG. Definitely one of my favourite projects, extremely active development. It's so low in value right now that it's almost a crime not to get some more while it's still going cheap.

how common is "Failed - network error" when downloading "verge-3.0.zip"?

it's happened twice tonight. used the electrum wallet earlier and want the full version.

in the meantime, i'm downloading the 3.0 blockchain and it's ten percent done. (edit: finished ok)

all good, watched the Verge video and am running the Wraith windows wallet fully synced, thanks to the beforehand download. great video and i learned a couple important points: 1) how to display the hidden files/dir 2) where to unzip the blockchain (i did a left mouse and copied into VERGE directory) earlier i think using WinRAR over complicated the process and they wound up somewhere else. haha - still making my way w/windoz!

p.s. found a swift little bird called shieldcurrency.com -- check it out.

i am saving the backups as wraithONEwallet.dat, wraithTWOwallet.dat, etc. i also like naming the addresses as wraithONEtran1, wraithONEtran2, etc.

not common. check your internet connection, github never really goes down.
