Ok. So i understand here cant talk about price. I found speculation thread. So maybe was my fault. But now i have one question. How much things can be changed in good way after this RSK contracts?
To better answer your question i think it would help for you to have a core understanding as to what a smart contact entails; to summarize: Smart contracts are computer protocols that are able to facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. They are able to replicate logic that upholds contractual clauses, and should be partially/fully self-executing, and/or self-enforcing. The aim of a smart contract is to achieve heightened security, as they are touted as being tamper proof, and minimize human error. In essence they have the ability to reduce financial transaction costs, and risk, through non-discriminatory execution. which effectively brings on an additional layer of transaction security. Given the above stated information we will be one of the only currencies on the open market place to provide this service on top of the core fundamental services that are baked into our currency. Really apreciate you re answear. Now i feel so good i bought 5.5 million XVG. So you are my guy. Thanks. All the above basically stating the defination of smart contract! Which is what RSK focuses on. Now Verge main focus is on privacy? How will Verge be implemented into RSK, and why Verge is the only cryptocurrency that can be implemented into RSK smart contract??? and how significant is this cooperation between Verge n RSK? What is it that not possible to accomplish when Verge is not implemented on RSK smart contract? What exactly Verge services on top of RSK? many thanks

Hey there, I'm fairly new to this all and sadly I also have problems with my XVG Electrum Wallet. It actually started with the seed phrase which did not consist of normal words but weird combinations of letters (one of them similar to daknetra as an example). Additionally I only got 8 words instead of 9, 12 or even 24 (which caused problems when I tried to import it into the TOR Android wallet that wanted a multiple of 3 words). Now I can also NOT connect to any server. In fact there are no servers in the wallet (and yes - I know where to look). So I tried finding servers but it seems to me that all the servers I found are only for Bitcoin Electrum Wallets and not Verge.
Good thing I only mined 72 tokens before I realized what happened and was able to stop further payments from my idcry pool.
Tried putting the Wallet on a different computer but it did not work so any help would be appreciated. Especially since this is my Crypto Computer and I would love to keep it that way.
Edit: My Bitcoin Electrum Wallet works perfectly fine. Is there a possibility that both together do not work on the same computer and that is causing those problems?

Hoping someone has an answer about the Electrum wallet not connecting for some time now. Anyone ?
-----
Also... I tried importing my private key from the address I use on Electrum. The public address DOES show up in the QT wallet under "Receive Coins" but my balance does not.
Ideas on that also ?

To further part 2 of my question... a NEW payment coming in from ZPOOL is going to my QT Wallet no problem. To the *same* address as my Electrum wallet. BUT none of my old transactions are showing in the QT wallet. Any suggestions for a fix ? See image : http://ibb.co/fdBBUFThe last thing in my Electrum wallet before it quit connecting (60 coins) was directly before the last item displayed on ZPOOL (58 coins).

Electrum Bitcoin works fine. It's just Verge that is offline. Looks like there is a problem with the servers (there are none at least in mine). I looked for servers but could only find Bitcoin servers and it looked like they don't work with Verge. If anybody could post Verge servers that would be great. Thank you! I guess for now I will stop mining XVG (since there is no help at all!) and go back to UBQ.

My XVG pool (idcray) just released this statement:
We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.
Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend Blockupdate disabled, blocks and transactions confirmations are delayed Payouts disabled, you will not receive any coins to your offline wallet for the time being.

Regarding the privacy of Verge, I read somewhere, this is open ledger. Is this true? Can someone explain this?
Thanks

Anyone? It's a Bitcoin clone, using a very old version of the Bitcoin codebase. It has no privacy features. The so called privacy is shipping a version that uses tor by default (or has a switch to turn it on?). Guess what? It's simple to run Bitcoin over tor, and you'd have far more privacy because people actually use Bitcoin.

Does anyone knows when is gonna get fixed? its a waste of time to keep mining? should i whait until its fixed? and, im gonna get paid during all my validated shares? its so unreal, 1º time i see that a pool has got this issue. Im worried of wasting time/energy. I will be gratefull if some one answers me back. Thx

The very old version of the Bitcoin codebase statement is absolutely not true. About privacy, we are releasing a new feature this month called Wraith Protocol, which puts Verge on the same level as Monero and the other privacy coins, making this statement incorrect as well.

Hi Michael Stollaire. It kind of looks like Bitcoin v0.9 codebase, which was released more than three years ago. Is this incorrect? Do you have any info about this wraith protocol? Doesn't seem to be in the op. Is this something you guys are rolling your own, or borrowing from somewhere else?

Thanks for the info, Michael! Verge definitely needs to step up to be better than Monero and have a better chance at getting included in other DApps such as TenX. I have some questions about Wraith protocol, too, and I hope you don't mind sharing your ideas about these. Wraith is said to scramble the wallet address and transaction can't be seen along with other infos... So as a sender or a receiver, how would I track my transaction? Will I see it on my own wallet? Thank you!
