the explorer linked to CoinMarketCap does not work any longer. Any explorer that does work? Asking because I am using coinomi as wallet and albeit very fast it uses also an explorer that does not work.

Can anybody explain to me how to connect the electrum xvg wallet? Even after 5 hours research I dont find a slution. Verge is completely useless if its not able to transfer that coins. Can not sell anything.

but now I want to install the same wallet on another computer.

What I have to do -step by step.

Normally when you install the same Verge version of the software on another pc, you can simply copy the wallet.dat file to the new one and that should work.
The other option would be to send your coins from the old computer (wallet) to a new one that is now empty on the new computer. Test it first with 10 coins for example. Don't try it with all coins at the same time. If that works you can do the rest of the coins. But make sure you send it to the right wallet address

I don't want to make new wallet on the next pc but exactly the same-it's for security ,if happen something bad with my laptop I want to have one more place with the same wallet ,so the second option is not good.

I try do this one more time ,and I will see what will happen

This does not seem to apply to Electrum wallet.

My Electrum wallet will, seemingly, randomly connect and do transactions... it updated itself last night. But I am trying to send coins this morning and it's been sitting at "broadcasting" for 15 minutes with "not connected" showing.

I think that the first time I made one mistake- with synchronization,it was not complete

The procedure should looks like this
1.Instalation of wallet on new computer
2.Open new wallet
3.Wait until it is completely synchronize- VERY IMPORTANT-YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS ON YOUR WALLET -NO MORE INFORMATION " OUT OF SYNC" NEXT TO "WALLET" AND "RECENT TRANSATIONS"
4.Turn off wallet.
5. Open the folder Users/your name/AppData/Roaming/Verge
6.Delete wallet.dat file and past ther your backup wallet.dat file--or overwrite this old
7.Start wallet again.

Mine is the same. I haven't seen a fix for the Electrum wallet yet.

So this is why I personally don't like these "hot" wallets.  They all connect to one or more servers that I see as "centralized" servers. Yes, it syncs really quick but you can't connect to a copy of the blockchain that you normally download yourself like with a QT wallet.  If the server or "node" on the other end has a problem, nobody can connect to it and you cannot send any coins. Also you don't know how long this will take.  Worst case is that you cannot send anything when you want to sell something at a specific time...  This is also the reason I try to use full wallets as much as possible. I use the Verge windows wallet, not the Electrum one.  How do you see this?
