I just reached my Idcray account, got cleared as hell. Thank god there was only 70 something coins in. Still annoying, if you can transfer your coins from there.

Stratum server was paralyzed. So Mining can not proceed anymore.
Where is my coin? Idcray shows that pool hash NaN...

Nah coins for me are back prolly it was an older backup when you checked your balance and stratum seems it's back up and hashing. I had like 900 xvg in there, it showed 0 for a while and then it showed 900 again


P.S Managed to withdraw my xvg out of the pool. Seems that everything is ok with the funds etc and it must be some kind of server issues i suppose.

I'm a newb to the crypto currency market. I hear the relation to the marketcap and worth of a coin alot. Could you explain this relation? Or point me to a resource(s) to read about that?

Correct me if i'm wrong, cause i'm a noob as well  but i believe its due to supply and demand and how easy it is to gain it.
If you compare it to precious medals with a limited supply and demand is relatively high, price will go up. For instance if you could get gold easily and everywhere in the world without a lot of effort, the price wouldn't be as high as it is now. Cuz it is easy to gain, supply is high, and demand will be lower.

So imo, xvg will be implemented to some extra exchanges now since it won some polls, people are getting more interested, it is getting more known, 'brandawareness' increases, demand will increase so price -can- go up.
But since there is still a lot of supply, it will not go sky rocket yet.
Of course there are still other variables which affect the prices...

You are kinda right... The thing with Verge mostly is, that most of investors are not familiar with any coins, what that coin actually does and is. They buy, sell and trade based on number that are showing on coinmarketcap. People dont read and study coins. When people will actually start to study certain coins what it can do, what is the purpose and such, they will start to invest in that coin.

The biggest problem with Verge ATM in my opinion is, that is relatively unknown. We are a little week on marketing, but we are getting there. When more and more people will see Verge and actually start reading what it is and does, im sure the price will go higher...

It doesnt matter how many coins there are. In the long run more the better. In my opinion it is, at least in top 100 coin, Verge is the 2nd most undervalued coin atm. I think only MGO is more undervalued. But we will see soon enough how this will unfold

But, isn't that with most of the coins? Most people are just investing for the quick money, see some green numbers and focus on that? From my point of view, I will hodl xvg because of the great opportunities I see in the coin and the great community and active devs.

What would you suggest xvg could do more regarding marketing? It already is a big step -imo- that we will be registered to some other exchanges and visibility will increase, so more people will start reading into the coin and realize it actually is a really undervalued coin.

I will remain a loyal xvg supporter and in the meantime getting more known with cryptocurrency and everything around it .

Yes it is like that with most coins. But when people will start researching coins a little better and they will sooner or later, they will dump those shitcoins like crazy. And regards marketing, i believe they are doing a video, yes exchanges are pendig, thats why i said we are getting there. And our dev, the guy is a rockstar, at least when i listened to him, i just baged more XVG. I had pivx before as well and i have some Monero, but the guy really knows what hes talking about. And he was right! Did a lot of researche of private coins, for me XVG rocks!

My opinion is that at the moment are not educated on this market and the technology behind it... Most people buy and sell only on basis of their emotions or what some other person told them. This is why the market suffers so many pumps and dumps and the uneducated traders lose a lot of money when they see a coin dropping so they sell and lose profit. If people were more educated and not greedy (which is impossible) the market would be more stable and it would grow continually.

Then the market is mostly controlled by the news, as you can see the market drop because apparently China want's to ban exchanges (don't know if this info is fake or true). When there is no news the market is only controlled by supply and demand as Karotte has explained.

My apology, Im pretty new to mining, got a bit scared. Now I see, everything is fine. My coins are back, everything is back. Thinking about moving all of my hashpower to idcray.

Where the vardif difficulty ports changed? 10061 is set at 1 difficulty and 10062 is set at 2 which is a bit high if you don't have a lot of hash.

I am new to verge and have a Problem with my verge electrum wallet (I do not use tor): It always says "Not connected" and I can not make a transaction. Under Network I have clicked on "autoconnect", but nevertheless nothing happens. Can you please help me with that?
