3.0 is wraith, the name of the new core wallet. new core wallets will be coming periodically now as we add a ton of new features.

If someone installs the next new core wallet, will it just overwrite the old one? Or do you have to move your coins?

It will just update your current wallet and keep all your coins. No need to move anything!

I really doubt that Verge will fail any time soon! Verge has a variety of different aspects that make it on of the best anonymous currencies there is out there, soon it will come out with the wraith protocol, now its just the dip before the rise, and what a rise will it be! The dev just was pointing out how another crypto is just a copy of its coin making people realize there is a much better coin out there instead of being scammed with  shit coin!

the shield community has NO privacy, like i stated earlier. im not badmouthing, just calling out the obvious. if you can show me one privacy feature that shield has, ill go delete my post. they forked a development branch of verge and none of the privacy features. and verge isnt failing but i believe shield is lol

Do you really want to invest your money into a currency this unprofessional? I personally don't, sold all of mine, you guys really should do the same.

Why not FUD with your real account instead of using a puppet newbie account to hide with? How is this the developer's fault? Any dev on any project will include the alternative options out there for wallets, exchanges, pools etc. They can't possibly predict the future. If something gets hacked and people lose their money, it is the fault of the creator of the hacked app/exchange/wallet and the user for putting trust in it.

It is never a good idea to use a third party option anyway if it can be avoided, especially when you have perfectly good options from the project dev himself that are safer to use. So if a dev lists their coin on Bittrex and Bittrex gets hacked you would blame the dev too?

We as investors/supporters, have to do our own due diligence and make sure we do everything possible to stay secure. If we lose our investment, we only have ourselves to blame. Nothing unprofessional about it, there is nothing XVG team can do about this. Things happen sometimes beyond their control.

Lately there was a hacking on Coinpouchapp and it spread so fast. Most people were telling Verge blockchain was hacked when the truth is it was only Coinpouchapp. Coinpouchapp is also a third party and Verge has nothing to do with it Verge will rise again.
